Last week, my jailbroken old iPad 2 died of low battery so i had to kickstart the Phoenix Jailbreak since it is semi tethered. Now whenever i kickstart it it just crashes, reboots and goes back to non jailbroken state, i cant open Cydia and all my jailbreak apps such as Flux, activator and Coolbooter. So one time i tried booting into No substrate mode (volume up button) to delete HiddenSB settings (my last installed tweak and which i'm highly sure is what's causing the problem) BUT instead it booted to recovery mode and telling me to connect to iTunes. I did so but it doesnt recognize my device (i used the original cord, my laptop is on Windows 1o, latest iTunes Version 12.7). Did i do something wrong?

Phoenix Jailbreak v6 represents the most recent update of the renowned jailbreak utility designed for the most recent release of iOS 9.3.6. It made its debut on March 22, 2021. Notably, the iOS 9.3.5 jailbreak arrived well over a year following the official Apple release, with the original Phoenix jailbreak first introduced to the jailbreak community back in 2017.

There is no untethered jailbreak for iOS 9. Instead, Phoenix serves as a semi-untethered jailbreak tool for the latest versions of iOS 9. Which means that it will cease to function every time you restart your device. In the event of such a restart, you will be required to re-jailbreak your iOS 9.3.5/9.3.6 device using the Phoenix application sideloaded on your iDevice.

The jailbreak supports the latest release of iOS 9 making it compatible will all devices running the old firmware. After jailbreaking your iPhone or iPad, it installs by default the Cydia app. Using this package manager you will access apps, tweaks, and themes from Cydia Repositories.

Jailbreaking iOS 9 using this amazing tool is extremely simple. What's more, it detects supported devices and iOS versions automatically. It's worth mentioning, that Phoenix exploit is also the main core of other modern jailbreaks for iOS 9 such as p0laris or kok3shi.

p0laris aims to deliver an untether in the near future via repo. When spv will manage to achieve it, the jailbreak will be the first to deliver an untethered jailbreak for iOS 9. There is also a UniBoot tweak for iOS 9 available that semi-reboots the device, but it may break Phoenix.

For years, Phoenix Jailbreak was updated six times. An important update was announced when Apple released iOS 9.3.6 in 2019 to fix some security issues with their mobile system. Fortunately, Phoenix was also updated with a new jailbreak exploit for iOS 9.3.6.

It's not a secret that iOS 9.3 is really out-of-date. Apple doesn't support any of the older devices, and no new features are added. Once you will jailbreak the iDevice with Phoenix, you will be able to install new tweaks and hacks that will add new features to the old system.

I can assure you that installing and using this iOS app is absolutely safe. After jailbreaking your device, there are no permanent changes applied. To remove the jailbreak, simply uninstall all apps and tweaks and restart the device.

The jailbreak doesn't come with an option to remove itself. If you prefer to stay on the same iOS 9 versions but with a clean system, use the Succession app. It allows you to restore the system without upgrading it to the latest version, like when using iTunes.

This is a simple tool, Once you have completed the Jailbreaking process of your iOS device it will install the Cydia store. That lets you download your favorite tweak apps, games, and other customizing tools from Cydia repositories for free of cost. While this is a Semi-Untethered jailbreak which means, whenever your iOS device is rebooted you need to reactive the jailbreak to use the Cydia tweak apps on your device.

I have an iPod 5 running iOS 9.3.5 and I would like to jailbreak, as there are no signed phoenix ipas online, I signed my won using altsign. When I open the app I click prepare for jail break, it prompts me for the mixtape thing, then it crashes back to home screen. I download ipa directly from phoenixpwn.com. Any help woul dbe greatly appreciated

Phnix is a semi-untethered jailbreak for 32-bit devices, primarily intended for devices running iOS 9.3.5. The exploit was written by Siguza and tihmstar, with jk9357 providing extensive contributions, and further assistance from Max Bazaliy and Luca Todesco. Like its predecessor, Home Depot, Phnix works by sideloading an IPA using Cydia Impactor. Released on 7 August 2017, almost a year after the release of iOS 9.3.5, it brought a long-awaited jailbreaking solution to devices for which iOS 9.3.5 was the only version at the time, until 22 July 2019 with the unexpected release of iOS 9.3.6. However, the same exploits used in Phnix are still present in iOS 9.3.6.

Esser had started a crowdfunding campaign through Kickstarter for an online iOS 9.3.5 jailbreaking course and felt betrayed by tihmstar, accusing him of backstabbing. tihmstar denied receiving help from Esser, and Luca Todesco noted that jk9357 announced a jailbreak before Esser's campaign. While Home Depot contains code written by Stefan Esser used "without his consent" according to its credits, Phnix features another joke at Esser's expense, as the "Enable jailbreak" button from Home Depot has been renamed "Kickstart jailbreak."

If you use a free Apple ID with Cydia Impactor, the Phoenix app certificate will expire after 1 week and needs to be renewed before you can use Phoenix jailbreak again. To renew it, you must reinstall the jailbreak using Cydia Impactor, so, going back to the tutorial above, repeat from Step 3 to reactivate. If your Apple ID is of a paid developer account, the certificate expires after one year.

I would really appreciate some help on how to fix this or if there are any working alternatives for 9.3.5/9.3.6 as of now. I am fairly new to the jailbreaking community, so I am sorry for my limmited knowledge.

To the surprise of many, an iOS 9.3.5 jailbreak is out now supporting all 32-bit devices. The jailbreak is semi-untethered in nature and is created by Siguza and tihmstar of Prometheus fame with some assistance from mbazaliy and Luca Todesco, while the UI has been designed by realkjcmember.

The semi-untethered nature of the jailbreak means that the jailbreak app will need to be re-run on every reboot for putting the device back into jailbroken state and will have to be re-signed and re-sideloaded using Cydia Impactor every seven days or so, depending on which type of certificate you have used to install it on your device in the first place. If you have a compatible iPhone, iPad or iPod touch 32-bit device running iOS 9.3.5, simply follow the instructions below to jailbreak your device and install Cydia on it.

Phoenix Jailbreak is the first semi-untethered jailbreak for all 32-bit devices on iOS 9.3.5 / 3.3.6 developed by Siguza and tihmstar. iOS 9.3.5 was jailbroken over a year later after the official Apple release. Install Phoenix without a computer or download and sideload IPA file to your iPhone, iPod, and iPad.

Phoenix Jailbreak is a free tool to jailbreak all older devices running iOS 9.3.5 / 9.3.6 including iPad 2/3, iPad mini, iPhone 4s, iPod 5g: A5, iPad 4, and iPhone 5/5c: A6. After jailbreak, Phoenix will install Cydia app on iOS from where you can install apps, tweaks, libraries, etc. from different Cydia Repositories.

Now when we are waiting for iOS 13, it obvious that version 9.3.5 is really out-of-date. Apple doesn't support your device anymore and the best option to refresh your device is to install some apps and tweaks created by the jailbreak community. Phoenix will allow you to access those apps.

The jailbreak tool is really easy to use and it automatically detects if your device and iOS version is supported. Just remember, that after each restart of your iPhone, iPad, or iPod device you will need to re-jailbreak iOS 9.3.5 / 9.3.6 using Phoenix app. It shouldn't happen because the jailbreak works stable.

No there is no untethered jailbreak for iOS 9.3.5 available. The only tool that allows you to jailbreak this version of iOS firmware is Phoenix. This is a semi-untethered jailbreak that will stop working every time after you restart the device.

Phoenix is not a permanent jailbreak and it will stop working after you will restart the device. Remove all installed apps and tweaks from the Cydia package manager and restart the device to remove completely the jailbreak.

With the help of the Phoenix jailbreak, Elcomsoft iOS Forensic Toolkit can perform the complete range of services including physical-level imaging and decryption of the data partition, decryption and examination of keychain items, and unrestricted access to sandboxed app data. This level of access is simply not possible with any other acquisition methods. As an example, physical acquisition of jailbroken devices enables forensic access to saved email messages, passwords, and full conversation logs saved by some of the most secure messengers such as WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, Skype and Facebook Messenger. Compared to iOS backup analysis, this method adds access to browser cache and temporary files, email messages, extended location history, and data that belongs to apps that explicitly disable backups. e24fc04721
