HELP! PLEASE HELP! I am trying to send a photo from my iPad as part of an Email. I brought up the photo, clicked the share icon, selected the photo, clicked the email option. The process of loading the photo to an email seemed to have started - the round thingie is going in circles - and that's it! The spinning continues and nothing happens. I cancelled the draft where I tried to send multiple photos and reduced it to one photo - no difference. I tried sending a simple email with no photo and it went through with no problem. I tried turning the iPad off and restarting. Nope! Can't get a photo to load. Any ideas?

With the onscreen keyboard, you can tap individual keys. Or pinch closed with three fingers to use the smaller QuickType keyboard, then slide your finger from one letter to the next, lifting your finger only after each word.

You can use Live Text to interact with an email address printed on a business card, poster, and more using the Photos app on iPad. This allows you to quickly begin emails without entering an address manually.

My iPad email seems to have been hacked. I have searched for other cases where this has happened, but I only see items where the respondent has said that the iPad cannot be hacked... So I will explain why I think mine really has been hacked.

- in retrospect I checked the sent items box online in my yahoo mail account. The offending message was indeed there, so no doubt that it had been sent via the account. At that point I thought it likely that the hack had been via the online email service and not from any of my devices.

What happened is that since your iPad is synced to your Yahoo mail, any activity on your account is mirrored on the iPad. so when the email was sent thorugh your Yahoo account, the sent mail is put in your Sent folder which is mirrored to your iPad.

I inadvertently put the wrong email address in my Ipad when I got it; so it won't let me go up to the cloud, since my Iphone and MAC have a different one and they were all under the right email address. I can't find a way to correct that, does anyone know how to do that? Settings lets me "see" it's wrong, but won't let me correct it. I tried it up online in my account in Icloud but it won't let me change it there either.

To search out the IDs that you do have, go here. Any item obtained with one Apple ID is PERMANENTLY associated with that ID. Note that you can not merge IDs, you can not delete IDs, and you can not transfer purchases from one ID to another.

My suggestion is that you decide which ONE you want to use and then simply ignore the others. The only minor issue is in updating apps that were obtained with the old one. If you update from the computer's iTunes, you will need to log out and back in again to update. It's a tad easier updating from the iPad. There is no requirement to log out/in but you still must enter the correct password. In my case, I changed the passwords so that they're both the same. It's easier for me that way.

The OP is having difficulty with iCloud. Yes, he/she referred to email address but that was only because the email address identified a specific Apple ID (for iCloud use). Honestly, I am not too thrilled with Apple having made it much too easy to inadvertently create multiple IDs. Take that and couple it with the inability to take corrective action when it occurs and it can be a real nuisance for the user.

Settings/ICloud/Account (which does have my correct email address that I use for all other devices and up in ICloud); then under IClound Account it has all my correct info; but if you look down at the Advanced section, it has Mail: maryscott1@me.com (which is NOT correct); and if I hit that it goes to ICloud Account Information; My Name is correct but under address it still says marymscott1@me.com and it will not allow any access to change that.

I have Microsoft Outlook as my main email on my iPad. I have it linked through Apple Mail as well, so I can use both. I can Open In... Outlook and then send the file that way, it's bothersome that I can't just email the file, and I have to go through the extra steps to send an email from Bluebeam.

My iPad email was originally set-up using a POP account default from our internet provider, but I want to change this to IMAP to allow me to sync with more devices. I deleted the provider account on the Mail/Accounts screen, restarted the iPad, then went to install the provider account info with their IMAP settings (port number, domain/server name, etc.). My problem is that the "Add Account" set-up automatically finds my old POP account information and won't let me manually add the new/IMAP information. It sees my email address and insists on setting me up with POP as it was before! Somehow I fluked into a choice between POP and IMAP when updating the provider account information on my iPhone (and it works like a charm!), but cannot find such a IMAP/POP choice setting on the iPad. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

From the Add Mail Account dialogue, enter the email address - but intentionally enter an incorrect password. Attempt to add the account and, as expected, addition of the account will fail with an error. Click through the error dialogue

On all but one of my Apple products my email was sending to recipients showing my correct name, but the iPad was showing a name from a previous family user (kids that tinker!). Apparently this "was" an easy fox with iOS 13 and below, but impossible to correct with a simple setting change with iOS 14

I had gone through every setting on iPhone, MacBook, iCloud and iPad to see where this name that was showing for my email was set, but couldn't find it anywhere. I narrowed it down to the iPad being the only device affected after numerous "test" emails sent to myself.

Recently I installed iPadOS public beta and bought an external third party keyboard. The spacebar of the keyboard does not work properly on some applications including the native email app. When I clicked on the spacebar, it inputs newline instead of space. Also, I noticed I can input space by clicking on shift+spacebar or alt+spacebar.

And a bit more, you can just clear the shortcut for Spacebar under the "full keyboard access>>Commands" (it was set as act of Activate by default), don't need to disable the full function in case you need other shortcut to control the ipad.

I'll be glad to look into this with account and device specific information so please let me know if you'd like me to reach out via email using the address that's linked to your profile here on our Community.

I was playing around with my new iPad. I was in email. Using yahoomail but it is a function of email as it is the same for spectrum mailand google mail in the iPad email icon. I changed the font to see howit looked without taking notice of the actual name of the font. Thereare many to choose from and I simply want to go back. All I can see is"default" for the one I have. I tried opening an old mail to see whatit was. (It was "default.")

If you want to set up an IMAP or POP email account, or don't have an email account with Exchange ActiveSync, use these instructions . When you set up an email account using IMAP or POP, only your email will sync--not calendar or contacts. What is IMAP and POP?

Most errors are related to having entered incorrect parameters into your email client. In those cases, it is highly recommended to reset your password and re-enter the parameters one more time, making sure that the IMAP or POP3 and SMTP settings match those from the table above.

To setup your iPhone/iPad to use email, you must already have the email account created in your Control Panel. You will need the following information when following the step by step instructions below. The video above will also be of help.

An Office 365 connection is recommended for accessing your email, as it allows you to use most of the features set up in your Outlook Account. Here are the basic steps for setting up a WPI email account on Apple iPhones, iPod Touches, and iPads:

Please note: WPI provides the ability to remotely wipe all data from a connected mobile device in the event it is stolen, lost, or compromised. A remote wipe can be executed by the WPI account owner or requested through the Service Desk.

The MDM service offers a number of additional benefits, including the ability to use a management interface to take various actions on your device should you lose it. For instance, you could lock the screen or wipe the data from your phone (either all of the data on the phone, or just your Stanford email). You'll also have some other "best practices" related to security set for you, and you'll be in a position to receive updated settings in the future as those best practices evolve over time. See the MDM Service page for more information about this service.

These instructions are for configuring the iPhone and iPad for Office 365 using an ActiveSync connection. This will allow you to access your Office 365 email, as well as synchronize your iOS contacts and calendar with your Office 365 contacts and calendar.

Zoho Mail has a dedicated iOS mobile app for iPhone. It is simple and powerful to use. Apart from Mail, it also syncs your Calendar and Contacts also, without interfering in the device's native calendar and contacts. Download and install the app from the App store. ff782bc1db
