I have around 20 in Google credit built up from answering surveys. Some of it is due to expire in a few weeks and I would like to spend it. Searching the "top paid" in the UK play store just brings up driving test apps, apps to aid giving birth, or ghost hunting apps - none of which I want or need.

Freemium (or free) is almost the default choice when releasing apps on the Play Store. However I've been working on a T9/Compact Qwerty keyboard, and I'm considering going by the "paid only" route. I think any ads or reduction in features would be too intrusive for a keyboard app, and attract more unfair poor reviews ("developer is greedy" etc) than can usually be expected as it would intefere with the user's flow of (for example) just wanting to type a quick message.

I have tried appstore > profile-pic > purchased and also Settings > apple id > media and purchases chaes > purchase history. In both places I see hundreds of apps that I ever downloaded. Is there a way to see only the paid apps ? Which I purchased by actually paying money. I want to download all the non-free apps to my second iphone. Thanks for any help

Honestly, I feel duped. Got Pro for the bevy of creation apps they advertise then discover you don't actually get access- you get a trial, tokens, etc and are expected to make an account outside of Canva and pay for each individual app! Is that full access like it says on the pricing page? What's the point of premium?

You can't pay through CIQ or see an overview of what apps you own through it. The developer provides links of PayPal or sometimes other services, and you manually keep track of you licences which are sent manually by email (so if you change to another device, say, 2 years later, you'd probably have to find that old email).

There are still many apps where you need payment to unlock full functionality (e.g. remove the donate prompt), but it does not show the 'Payment' label. If CIQ store had a way of processing payments, they'd obviously know which apps are paid and which aren't.

Google removed it because of the ad position violation, finally got it reinstated a few months back and decided to open-source it as the ad revenue was just trash. This is a new version that I rewrote from scratch using Kotlin Multiplatform. It supports Android, iOS and Desktops (Mac, Linux and Windows). There are not many open-source KMP apps. I hope it fills some of the gaps.

Every time I visited this sub, I came across posts asking "What are some Good Paid Apps" or "Which apps should I use the Reward's money on", and people would suggest their favorite paid apps. I always thought someone would make a definite list of this, and post in the sub. One day, I thought, why can't I?? So, I dig into my purchases at Play Store, asked some of my friends and made a list, which I'm sharing with you guys.

Any suggestions for other paid apps are always welcome to be added in this list. Also, many apps in this list also have a free app for you to use and choose whether you want to buy it or not. Try them first. You can also wait for a Sale to be live, to buy these.

Hi everyone! I'm currently using a secondary "googled" profile to basically use just one app that I bought a long time ago with my google account. Is there some sort of workaround that allow apps that relies on google play licensing to work on a totally degoogled profile?

I usually use free productivity apps/free versions like Developer Diary/RescueTime and I was considering giving paid versions of apps like Any.do a try. Would like to know about your experience in paid apps/tools.

In light of recent Google account shutdowns I was wondering what would be the best way to secure app purchases? I have plenty of paid apps and if my Google account would face serious trouble I'd lose all those paid apps. Thanks!

Hello everyone. I've been programming in Android for a little while now, but I've finally making an app where I want to make some revenue from my hard work. The app itself has a decently large promise for being successful since my app, as far as I know, doesn't exist or isn't done well on Android. I'm not trying to brag or come across as pompous, I just want to give some context to the question. Which is, from a user/professional stand point is it better to make an app that has all features but contains ads (maybe a lot of ads, but kept tasteful and not annoying to users)? Or would it be better to have fewer ads and offer a paid version that removes ads and unlocks all features. I'd like to hear what you guys think. I'm stuck between just allowing all features to be accessible by watching an ad or having a paid version removing ads and unlocking all features. How would you guys go about it? Why? What would give the most revenue and what would be the most professional way choice?

Over the years I've realized that all the non-language apps/websites that make a meaningful difference in my life are paid and thereby have better design, usability, and most importantly I want to use them and thereby I do. I also think good developers should get paid, there are a lot of terrible apps on the market. I'm in the market to upgrade my language apps and I'm curious what you guys think has the best design/functionality/value? I'm especially interested in anything released or massively upgraded in the last 3 years.

After installing BlueStacks 4 to my Macbook and logging in with my usual account, I went to the play store. I opened up my library and scrolled to a paid copy of a game I bought in the past on my phone. I hit install and instead of it downloading I receive a window popping up asking me to purchase it instead. Additionally going to my family library shows nothing at all, whereas when I check on my Android Phone I see that I have shared plenty of purchased apps with my Google family.

So my question is. Is it better to put it up for free and run iAds on it or go for paid. Also note i live in Slovenia so Google Merchant account is not supported here so if i go for paid i would only put it on iOS, but if i go free i can run AdMob on android and put it on both markets.

Users with this separate configuration get the app which they need but they can install streaming apps like Netflix and use our pooled company mobile data plan which is one of the main reasons we are implementing an MDM in the first place.

tl;dr Purchased apps on the play store are linked to a payment profile not an email address. If you change country and create new payment profile for the new country you will have to repurchase all your apps.

I've been speaking with Google support via email for a few days as all my purchased apps are now asking me to pay for them again. I found out purchased apps on the play store are linked to a payment profile not an email address. Payment profiles are based on a country....

As of now, we don't have any option of implementing the features of transferring the apps from old payments account to the new payments account. I'd suggest you to please leave a feedback from the play store app for implementing this feature in the near future. So that, our product development team can implement this feature in the further updates of play store

I understand that theres no particular link available which I can share with you where it exactly states that you no longer eligible to use the paid apps that are purchased from the old payments profile when you moves to a different country and create a new payments profile.

Youre adviced to refund the purchases as an alternative option since you cant access the paid apps and it is asking you to paid again. Ideally, play store always tracks the localized contents due to the country restrictions and policy. That is the reason, it always tracks that payments profile id in which country youre physically present. As of now, we dont have any option of transferring the paid apps from one payments profile to another payments profile. Hence, Id suggest you to please submit your feedback about this feature request from the play store app. So that, our back end product development team could look into this in the future upgrades of play store

What exactly is it about apps that makes most people so unwilling to spend money? How can the same person who pay $4 every morning on a Starbucks coffee-to-go agonize over the decision to buy a 1$ app that will last them forever?

This is my Megalist/ranking of user testing sites/apps that I have joined. These are a lucrative way to earn some beermoney (see the proof below). I've used a number of sites quite a lot, but most aren't featured heavily here because there is usually no referral bonus for most sites. There are actually a lot more sites than I have listed, but Please comment any you find to be good!

I have a few apps that are perfect for some of my hobbies. For example, I use Intervalometer to help with astrophotography. There may be other apps that do something similar, but I'm used to this one and it's already purchased.

So how do others get past this? Like paid games for example? Is anyone actually able to enforce their license? Does Google care at all? Are paid apps just a stupid idea on Android because Google doesn't give a **** about indie app developers?

Edit: Well, I have an idea for a work around where I'll just do a "freemium" method of curbing functionality for unlicensed users, and then add in-app paid products for such unlicensed users to unlock full functionality. Should be enough to deal with Google's moronic testing.

Just got a new Insignia Fire TV Edition, and have gotten a few free apps (Kodi, Mouse Toggle etc.) that have their .apk downloadable outside of the Google Play store using the Downloader app. I'm now trying to sideload an app that I paid for on the Play store, but don't know how to install since my Fire TV isn't linked to Google Play. Since I don't have an Android TV device, how do I get this app onto the Fire TV, and preferably the version of the app that's formatted for TVs? e24fc04721
