I was thinking about starting to play overwatch 2 on my Nintendo Switch do you have any tips or advice on this? I know I should maybe just play it at once without fear but I would feel bad doing that with my team.

hey, turning off crossplay on any console will kill your queuetimes. not only does it stop you from playing against any other consoles, it stops you from playing against any switch player who has crossplay on.

Hey everybody, with overwatch 2 coming up, I am wondering if overwatch 1 is worth it on switch. I am still looking for a ps5 so the switch is the only current gen console I own right now. I know I would love overwatch but I am just wondering if it is playable/fun on switch with the graphical downgrades. Thanks in advance!

If you can get it on literally any other console. i would do it. But if the switch is your only option, it plays like you think it would, weaker then other consoles graphical downgrades you know that kind of stuff.

If you don't mind the framerate being cut in half and lower resolution then go for it, as far as I know those are the only compromises, the version is still worth considering since crossplay is supported on the switch version.

Pointing out port compromises makes people "Nintendoom" and bashing the switch?

The OP simply asked if the switch port is worth it or not so naturally people will point out the flaws in compare and contrast it with the other versions. Saying the resolution and framerate is worse than other versions isn't bashing the switch, its pointing out a basic fact that you can't handle hearing for some reason.
