I have been a user of ourtime for almost six years. But only early on, in 2017, did I actually meet a woman via ourtime. Ourtime had started out independent before being bought by Match Group. Nevertheless, until recently, ourtime's user interface (UI) was different from match.com's. Even though I hadn't gotten a 'good' match for years, I would log on to ourtime 'every now and then' to 'look around'. In a recent logon, I was mildly surprised to see that the UI had been significantly changed to be essentially identical to match.com's. I can speculate that Match Group is doing some 'consolidation', perhaps firing the technical staff that maintained a separate UI for ourtime.

Anyway, ourtime currently allows 'free' users, i.e. those not paying any money, to send messages to 'Top Picks' and ONE other profile selected from a 'Discover' list each day. It seems to me to be about a dozen Top Picks and a couple of hundred 'other' 'discovered' profiles in that list.

However, the profiles in that list are, for the most part, located so far away that I have no interest in contacting those women. Although ourtime's UI allows the user to specify a distance in miles within which they are 'seeking' dates, most of the 'discovered' profiles are for people, women in my case, who live farther away, in many cases WAY farther. IMO, no 'value' there unless the user just wants to scroll through profiles to look at the photos. No sale ;)

I am a very new user, so I downloaded the app to my cell, same thing "you have been blocked by ourtime" WITH no explanation and after all the work and TIME I put! Then..... I start learning..... No human beings to talk to! Are you serious! No human beings??? This is what makes AMAZON what it is, billions of users and always, always someone answering the phone. I sent several emails, then after a while I got a response from some guy he said is called Ian saying, "I do not know what your problem is, I forwarded your message to another "department"." Yes probably to the bathroom.... I never heard anything else ever again, I wonder why they have only few subscribers (for the planet of course) companies like this make this country terrible, they should not exist.
