The court is utilizing an automated process for posting opinions and memorandum dispositions to the website, which uploads them immediately as they are filed in each case rather than manually all at once at a designated time. Except for immediate filings that may happen at any time of day, opinions will generally continue to be filed and posted between 10:00am or 11:00am Pacific Time, and by no later than 1:00pm Pacific Time each day. The court will no longer be posting a notice that no opinions will be filed on a particular day. You can sign up here for an RSS feed that will alert you to the posting of opinions and dispositions as they are filed and posted. There is no charge to view or download these documents from our website. Please note that opinions and dispositions are also available from the PACER system shortly before they are posted to this site. PACER is a fee based system. Click here to open a PACER account and find out more about fees. PACER account holders may register as non-party users of the court's Appellate ECF system to obtain immediate email notification of the filing of opinions and dispositions in specific cases. Any public officer or employee may request a confidential advisory opinion from the Commission regarding the applicability of his or her circumstances under the provisions of the Ethics in Government Law, including whether his or her specific circumstances constitute a conflict of interest and what course of action the public officer or employee should pursue in his or her official capacity as a result of a conflict of interest.

If the Commission has jurisdiction regarding the complaint, it will conduct an investigation. If just and sufficient cause has been established from the investigation, the Commission will conduct a hearing and render an opinion in the matter. 2351a5e196
