Yes, they both crash in the same way. I only went back one release (2022.3.1) - perhaps I should go back further?

The longest that it worked for me was last week Friday. I was able to import a model and work with it for about 1/2 hour. I created some renders and was learning a bit about using the software, when it crashed. Before that, I was having this issue now - it will only work for a minute, sometime two, before crashing.

Just to give an update here, the reason Cesium for Omniverse appears in the extension registry as a community extension is because we were using the omniverse-kit-extension tag. Nvidia automatically scans GitHub for all repos with that tag and adds them as community extensions.

I am also running into this issue. I cannot enable autoload because omniverse failed to solve all extension dependencies. I have fully removed omniverse and followed the quick start guide again without success. I am running on Ubuntu 22.04 with the 525.125 driver.

Hello @shalmzb. Sorry to hear you are having a problem. I have informed the dev team so that they can get back to you. I would be helpful if you could provide us with a copy of your logs found here:

Thanks for reaching out to us!

Hi Wendy,

when installing Nucleus on the other machine (local network), should I choose other location than the original Nucleus folder I created on the local server?

It asks me to choose the paths for the Nucleus server and to create a new admin account but all I want is to connect to the existing Nucleus server.

Anyways, I created new user and send him an invitation link, but whenever I open the link from the invited user machine it takes me to his own localhost server I had to create there in order to have a Nucleus service up and running.

I looked at the log files of the launcher and found how the launcher starts for example the Omniverse Create app with the following command:

./../../kit_release/_build/linux-x86_64/release/kit "./apps/omni.create.launcher.kit" --ext-folder "./exts" --ext-folder "./apps"

I'm trying to make an educational "Game" ? or App ? no idea honestly what the end product of Omniverse is, but the point is i want to develop a product on Omniverse that resembles a game and that's made for children or students in general to learn from through interacting with the objects in the game, but i have questions such as: why would i use Omniverse over UE4 or Unity ? is Omniverse even made to make games with or is it all about real life simulation for big corporations such as BMW ? is there coding in Omniverse ? is Omniverse strictly used in extender reality ( VR/AR/MR) ? are there any videos showcasing practical use of Omniverse in developing a fully functional app ? and is the client/user of the game supposed to even download or use Omniverse or should i build the end product and export it as a game ? if anyone could please, in detail, explain to me how this works i'd be very grateful, also keep in mind that i've done a lot of research on the matter and i know that there is a big collaboration side to the software using the connectors, and finally, my current situation is: one single programmer trying to use this software to create what i've stated above, Thank you!

Whether refining 3D scenes or exporting final projects, artists can switch between the lightning-fast Omniverse RTX Renderer or their preferred renderer, giving them ultimate freedom to create however they like.

Omniverse Machinima 2022.1 beta provides tools for artists to remix, recreate and redefine animated video game storytelling through immersive visualization, collaborative design and photorealistic rendering.

In this blog, you will learn how to create a 3D asset for a digital twin from an Autodesk Revit file using the NVIDIA Omniverse platform and AWS IoT TwinMaker. The tutorial in this blog converts the Autodesk Revit format to OpenUSD for processing in Omniverse. When satisfied with your model, you will export it to the glTF format and upload it to AWS IoT TwinMaker.

The architecture below illustrates how a model conversion pipeline can be created with NVIDIA Omniverse to convert your Autodesk Revit file into a glTF model via OpenUSD. You will execute the step-by-step guide in this blog to complete the model conversion.

In this blog, you successfully converted an Autodesk Revit BIM file to the glTF format and imported it into AWS IoT TwinMaker. This solution allows manufacturing and AECO customers to use BIM models to build digital twins and enables 3D visualizations to be optimized for reliable monitoring of building scale workflows. A digital twin can now be built with 3D detail for the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems of a building, as designed in Autodesk Revit. To fully monitor your digital twin, create entities and components with live data of your building and attach this data to your 3D model in an AWS IoT TwinMaker scene.

I used 3ds Max as the main software to create and assemble the 3D scene. I also used a very powerful script called Assembly Tool that I did with my friend. That tool helped me to assemble the scene in 2 days or so. More about this tool can be found here.

I want to say huge thanks to Gabriele Leone, John Spitzer, my team members, and of course to Jensen and Madison Huang, to whom this work was dedicated. Thanks, everyone for reading this article! I hope it gave you a basic understanding of how I created the My Little Fairy project and how easy it was to bring it to life with the help of 3ds Max and Omniverse Create.

According to the company, some of the new customers that are using Omniverse include: Mercedes Benz, and prominent architect and designer Zaha Hadid. In Germany, Mercedes Benz is planning on creating a digital twin of its car factory, which will be used to create a real-world model of the facility.

Through Omniverse, anyone can create simulations that can help enterprises and game developers evaluate the various features of their products before they are released in the real world. For instance, if a company wants to develop a self-driving car, they can use the platform to test its features in virtual worlds. e24fc04721
