Now we are going to share a good news. Microsoft has officially announced and released full standalone offline installers for Microsoft Edge web browser. Now you can direct download offline installer of Microsoft Edge and use it to install Edge browser offline in multiple computers.

I have a CCure 9000 (ver. 2.8 unpatched) where certain iStar Edge panels (ver. 6.28.20232) go offline. Hitting the reset button gets them working again for a few days. With your issue and our ticket in particular - You will need to update the software to at least 2.80 as 2.70 is no longer supported. At that your iStars are intermittently offline and not permanently which would point to a network issue. Please send me the wireshark info as we discussed via email when available.

For sure - First thing to do is patch 2.80 and bring it up to the latest build ; Also with these panels bring them up to the latest firmware build. Lastly, if the panels are configured correctly for the server and they come online in the ccure software ; But still go offline occasionally , there is for sure something in the network interrupting the connection. Is anyone else having issues with devices going offline? Im talking multiple devices. smartthings, ikea, tp-link, aqara and more. light switches, buttons , bulbs, outlets, motion sensors, humidity sensors and more. Not mass offline at the same time. Ive tried rebooting hubs, re-onboarding , even deleting devices and reinstalling to hubs ( I have 2). still they go offline. some come back within a few minutes , others never come back without deletion or onboarding. Im pretty sure all my devices that show these symptoms are using edge drivers. also, many devices like bulbs are showing cycling on/off sometimes every 2 min or less in the history? anyone else having these issues?

I think many of these issues could be avoided if when designing new functionality, we as designers spend a little more time considering the edge cases. For example, offline usage, take the time to really understand all of the situations your users will be in when using your product.

I would say an ignition edge devices are probably going to be the best route. I know there was some talk of an offline option for perspective, but without knowing how that is going to work, its hard to say if it will suit your needs in this case.

Vision won't work since it needs a connection to the gateway in order to view or update data. Edge technically does too, but the edge gateway can be used as your client. It can store things locally then sync to the gateway if needed.
