Simon Says is a children's game for three or more players. One player takes the role of "Simon" and issues instructions (usually physical actions such as "jump in the air" or "stick out your tongue") to the other players, which should be followed only when succeeding the phrase "Simon says". Players are eliminated from the game by either following instructions that are not immediately preceded by the phrase, or by failing to follow an instruction which does include the phrase "Simon says". It is the ability to distinguish between genuine and fake commands, rather than physical ability, that usually matters in the game; in most cases, the action just needs to be attempted.
The object for the player acting as Simon is to get all the other players out as quickly as possible; the winner of the game is usually the last player who has successfully followed all of the given commands. Occasionally, however, two or more of the last players may all be eliminated at the same time, thus resulting in Simon winning the game.

A command starting with "Simon says" means that the players must obey that command. A command without the beginning "Simon says" means do not do this action. Anyone who breaks one of these two rules is eliminated from the remainder of the game. Often, anyone who speaks is also eliminated.
There can be very complex and difficult command chains, such as "Simon says: Arms up. Simon says: Arms down. Arms up." Anyone ending with their arms up is eliminated, because a command that doesn't begin with "Simon says" cannot be obeyed.
It is considered cheating to give impossible commands ("Simon says, lift both of your legs up and keep them there!") or phrase the commands in such a way that the other player has no option but to 'go out' ("Simon says, jump up. Come down."). However, at least in some versions, it is allowed for Simon to eliminate players by asking them to do something seemingly unrelated to the game (example: "Anyone remaining join me up here.").
The electronic game Simon is named for Simon Says. Instead of having to listen to the presence of the instruction phrase, the player has to repeat a short sequence of button presses after demonstration by the device. This gameplay has been repeated as minigame in many subsequent video games and is often confusingly referred to as "Simon Says" as well, despite the differences from the playground game
A variation on the instruction phrases is used in this variant. Instead of only actions beginning with "Simon says" having to be obeyed, an action along with the phrase "do this" must be obeyed while an action with the phrase "do that" must not be obeyed. Obeying a "do that" command or not obeying a "do this" command will eliminate a player.[1] In Swedish, this variant is known as Gr si, gr s.
This variant, found in India, Pakistan, Germany, Slovakia, Czech Republic and Hungary, puts the focus on the specifics of the instruction phrase. The Simon announces the phrase "All X fly" or similar (i.e. "Chidiya ud" (Hindi) which translates to Bird fly or "Alle Vgel fliegen hoch" (German) which is "All birds fly up"), with the subject replaced by various creatures and objects. If the subject can fly, the other children have to perform an action, but have to stay still if it cannot fly. The action is usually fixed, involving raising the arms or jumping.
A similar Swedish child's game is "Flja John" meaning "following John", where physical actions are conducted by "John" (usually involving movement in a line), and where remaining participants are replicating the activities shown by John. However, the commands are silent, and based on the remaining participants observation of John's actions. Especially when performed in a line, this can become a physical action equivalent of the game Telephone.

No matter how hard we work there will always be people who will criticise us. It is as though by making us feel bad,they will somehow fell better about themselves. And most of the time the weight of their negativity starts to take a toll and impacts the attitudes and energy of we all around us. Most people like to thrive on positive reinforcement and may not even realize how this negativity had impacts out in our works, relationship and life. We get so caught up in pleasing Simon and not screwing up and had went about not focusing on what we needs to get done....
Catching people doing something well should be a continual process. We should not wait until the task is completed but instead reward people along the way because we don not always get the right outcome on the first attempt.
There is little doubt that punishment can be effective. it may manipulate someone to behave in a certain manner,but it is not terribly motivating. There are just so many "SIMONs" in our lives, like that boss, some of our parents, some religious leaders, some of our friends and peers etc......Some of these people believe that the way to influence people is through fear and intimidation. It might be an effective method in the short run but in the long term, it will begin to loose "ITS APPEAL". Most effective leaders know they must empower others snd encourage them to take risks. By positively motivating each person, we create a more loyal and energised following. In this way, The benefits for rewarding people for doing something well , will far outlast fear and punishment that most people like to employed. If we praise and reward one another for being innovative and taking risks, it will make a dramatic shift in how we all can do better both in our relationships and business.....

"Simon Says" is a Season 1 episode of the series, Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir.[5] According the series' production/written order, it is the 10th episode of Season 1, as well as the 10th episode of the series, overall.[3]
The episode begins with a live broadcast of a KIDZ+ competition show called The Challenge at the TVi Studio. Nino is the next candidate, his challenge is to make the mayor, Andr Bourgeois, dance.
At the bakery, Marinette learns that she is being grounded by her parents because of how often she is absent from school, including classes like PE and Social Studies. Marinette tries to explain to her parents that Nino is counting on her to support him during The Challenge, but her father says that, as long as her unjustified absences continue, she will stay at home.
So Marinette accepts her punishment and walks up to her room. Tikki tells Marinette that it's not her parents' fault since they don't know that she's missing class to save the world. Marinette finds it unfair, and Tikki agrees, but she reminds her that if Nino wins, she can go see him at the show next week. Marinette turns on her computer and watches Nino try to complete his challenge.
Marinette tells Alya about her parents grounding her, and Alya agrees with them, much to Marinette's surprise. Alya tells Marinette that she's always showing up late and mysteriously disappearing, and claims that she'd almost suspect her of living a double life. Marinette jokingly tells Alya to give her a break.
Nino is successful in making the mayor dance, while Adrien watches him in support, and Alec calls up the next contestant, a hypnotist named Simon Grimault. Alec tells Simon that his challenge is to hypnotize Gabriel Agreste and to make him come to the studio. But when Gabriel refuses to participate, Simon is automatically disqualified. Hawk Moth senses Simon's frustration over not even getting the chance to perform, so he sends a akuma after him.
The akuma possesses Simon's deck of hypnotic cards, and Hawk Moth offers Simon powers that'll make him a powerful hypnotist, and so he is akumatized into Simon Says. Using his cards, he hypnotizes Alec and Placide I.T., who both become his servants.
Marinette is still watching the show and sees these events unfold. Despite mentioning Tikki that she is still grounded, Tikki says that she has got no choice but to transform into Ladybug. Tikki then instructs Marinette to put her pillow under her sheet so her parents would think she is sleeping. Marinette transforms into Ladybug and heads for the studio.
At the studio, Adrien transforms into Cat Noir. Simon Says announces that since Gabriel turned down his challenge, he would make him pay by having him entertain the viewers in the TV studio by midnight, much to Cat Noir's shock. Hawk Moth hears Simon Says' announcement and says to himself that, although it's risky, this has given him an idea.
Cat Noir then jumps on top of Simon Says and demands that he give him his cards. Simon Says sends Placide I.T. to fight Cat Noir. While the two are fighting, Simon Says uses his powers to enslave people in the building and sends them to find Gabriel Agreste. Ladybug arrives at the studio and finds Nino hiding in the recording room. Nino explains that Adrien is somewhere in the studio, so they both start searching for him. 152ee80cbc
