Recently watched the film again, but I am not talking abt that here. Realised that Salim Suleiman's music is so wholesome. Every song, if you judge it from the late 2000s standards, sounds so catchy and groovy. "Yahi hota pyaar hai" has anyway been my favourite melancholic song for years. But I also figured that several of the songs don't match with the mood of the scene or the setting. Like I don't know why film starts off on a sad note with RFAK's Teri Yaad Sath hai. Then a couple of Akki and Kat's romantic songs in the village also have a melancholic mood to it , rather the expected lively and bubbly tone.
