Turkish pop singer Murat Boz's discography consists of four studio albums, one compilation album, one EP, eight singles and four duet single. Boz was born in Zonguldak and started his music career in 2001. He worked as a backing vocalist for Tarkan for 5 years. In 2006, he made his debut by releasing the single "Ak Bulamam Ben". In 2007, his first studio album, Maximum, was released. The album's lead single topped Turkey's official music charts. This was the first time that his name appeared on music charts inside Turkey. The following year, he released his first EP, titled Uurum. His second studio album, ans, was released in 2009. The songs "Para Yok", "zledim", "Her eyi Yak", "Sallana Sallana", "Gmbr Gmbr" and "Buralardan Giderim" from this album were turned into music videos, and Soner Sarkabaday appeared in the video for "ki Medeni nsan". Boz released his second single, "Hayat Sana Gzel", in March 2010. On 12 April 2011, a music video for the lead single from the album Aklarm Byk Benden was released. On 9 May 2011, the album itself was released. The songs "Hayat pc", "Geri Dn Olsa", "Kalamam Arkada", "Bulmaca" and "Soyadmsn" from this album were the pieces for which separate music videos were released. Out of these songs, "Geri Dn Olsa" and "Kalamam Arkada" topped the official music charts inside Turkey.[1][2] In August 2012, Boz released his first remix album under the title Dance Mix.

He entered the Jazz Vocal Department in Bilgi University in 1999 as a scholarship student. He continued his studies in the Turkish Music State Conservatory Fundamental Sciences Department in Istanbul Technical University in 2003. He vocalized many singers and notably Tarkan in the same years in their albums and concerts.Murat Boz made a breakthrough in 2006 with his first single called "Aski Bulamam Ben". He then made his first studio album in 2007 called "Maximum". He was awarded as the "Best New Singer" in the Kral TV Music Awards, Altin Kelebek Awards and Istanbul FM Golden Awards the same year. In 2008 came his first EP called "Uurum". One year later came his second studio album called Sans. Clips were shot for the songs "Para Yok", "zledim", "Her Seyi Yak", "Sallana Sallana", "Gmbr Gmbr" and "Buralardan Giderim" in this album. He performed a duet with Soner Sarikabadayi in the clip version of the song "Iki Medeni Insan". In March 2010 came his second single called "Hayat Sana Gzel".On 12th of April 2011 came the clip for the song in his third studio album called Asklarim Byk Benden with the same name. And on 9th of May 2011 the album was released. Clips were shot for the songs "Hayat pcg", "Geri Dns Olsa", "Kalamam Arkadas", "Bulmaca" and "Soyadimsin" in the album. The two songs "Geri Dns Olsa" and "Kalamam Arkadas" were on the top of the lists. Boz then prepared his first remix album called "DanceMix" made up of his most popular songs. The first clip for this album was shot for the remix version of the song "zledim" and the second was shot for "Geri Dns Olsa".Murat Boz can play the piano, the violin and the reed flute and besides his musical career he has appeared as the advertisement face of various companies. He also acted in the leading role in the film called 'Hadi Insallah' that came to the theaters on 28th of November 2014 inspired from the book by Pucca called the Kk Aptalin Byk Dnyasi. He again acted the leading role in the film called 'My Brother (2016)' which will be coming to the theaters in January 2016. He is a member of the jury in the TV program called "O Ses Trkiye" broadcast since 2011 and he was the winner jury in the first session of the competition. He has two Altin Kelebek Awards and two Kral TV Video Music Awards.

At the end of the same year , he traveled to London in order to make preparations for the album. In April 2011, a single with the same name as the album was released on digital platforms . It was accompanied by a music video directed by Burak Erta.In May 2011, his 3rd studio album Aklarm Byk Benden was released .

He also played in ErdemirSpor Young Football Team for 2 years. After finishing his elementary and secondary school, Boz's mother sent him to music classes and competitions and later encouraged him to study fine arts in high school. After passing an entrance exam in 1995, Boz moved to Istanbul and enrolled in Istanbul Anadolu Fine Arts High School and took courses for four years. At that time, he learned piano and violin. In 1998, he became the winner of the "High School Music and Folk Music Competition", organized by Milliyet newspaper. After taking jazz vocal courses at the Istanbul Bilgi University, he began his studies at ITU Turkish Music State Conservatory. At the same time he began to perform as a backing vocalist for Tarkan.

In 2000, Boz started to make money and pursued his musical career at various music halls as a backing vocalist, and first became a vocalist for Emel Mftolu. He continued his career by vocalizing at the concerts or on studio albums for numerous singers including Burcu Gne, Demet Sarolu, Hepsi, Hande Yener, Nazan ncel, Nil Karaibrahimgil, Nilfer and Tarkan. He collaborated with Tarkan more than any of the other artists and vocalized in his songs for six years.

Also, he was backing vocalist of Shakira in a concert. Boz first entered the Turkish music scene in 2004, when he appeared in Nil Karaibrahimgil's music video "Bronzlamak". In 2005, he featured in "Yalan", a single from girl group Hepsi's album, Bir.

In the summer of 2008, Boz discussed his intentions on preparing a second studio album. In February 2009, his second studio album, ans, was released by Dokuz Sekiz Mzik. It sold 17,000 copies and later earned Boz an award from stanbul FM as the "Best Album by a Male Artist". The single "Para Yok", which was released with a music video ahead of the album's release date, ranked 5th on the Turkish Billboard chart. Following "Para Yok", separate music videos for the songs "zledim", "Her eyi Yak", "Sallana Sallana", "Gmbr Gmbr", "ki Medeni nsan" and "Buralardan Giderim" were released respectively. "zledim" and "Sallana Sallana" also peaked at the 5th position on the Turkish Billboard chart. For the music video of "ki Medeni nsan", a new version was created which featured vocals by the song's writer Soner Sarkabaday, and it was later released on digital platforms.
