We had to switch from Qlik Sense Desktop to the Cloud Version (Qlik Sense Business).

On the old App our data (multiple, identically structured Excel-Files stored in one folder) got loaded by a simple folder path connection: e.g. G:QLIK_DATA/Shipments/*.xlsx (every week a new Excel-File got added to the folder).

We are using the Graph API to retrieve and manage files in a Sharepoint instance from within our platform. Currently all is working well, we can upload files, create folders, and download individual files again.

Download Multiple Files From Onedrive

What we would now like to do is create a similar process found inside the OneDrive / SharePoint UI, where you can select multiple files at once, then click download and receive a zip file of the selected items.

Download file Graph API allow us to download one file at a time from OneDrive/SharePoint Online and currently there is no Graph API availble to download multple selected files into zip file as we can do it in OneDrive/SharePoint Online UI. Even you will not be able to utilise above mentioned url to achive the same.

However as a workaround, you can be able to use JSON batching option to download up to 20 files from OneDrive/SharePoint Online with Graph API. JSON batching allows you to optimize your application by combining multiple requests (up to 20) into a single JSON object. Please find the couple of examples below on the same :

The catch is that we have seven file collumns in monday and in each collumn is one file stored. Now i could just make seven moduls and upload file by file, this seems not like the optimal solutions. I read about the iterator/aggregator functionallity but it seems not to be the solution for me, because with them you handle multiple files in one collumn? Am i wrong with this one?

In this lesson, you will learn how to upload and sync files from your computer to OneDrive. You'll also learn how to move files from one folder to another. Finally, you'll learn about additional file options, including special options for managing photos.

If you don't have access to the OneDrive desktop application, you can upload files using the web uploader. The process takes a little more time than uploading files with the OneDrive application, but it's still an easy way to upload files from anywhere.

You can use folders to organize your files. Documents can be stored in folders and moved from one folder to another. Moving documents can be useful because you can share a document simply by moving it to a shared folder. For example, if you're working on a project with a group of people, you can share a folder with them. Then you can move any files you want to share with the group to that folder.

Using Power BI Desktop, I can readily load to my data model all the Excel files in a given folder. Works great. However, I can't figure out how to accomplish the same if the files are in a OneDrive for Business folder. I can load a single Excel file from OneDrive when I fully specify the URL in the Get Data from Web function - but how do you get a list of files found in a OneDrive folder?

For OneDrive for Business or SharePoint, you can edit the query from SharePoint.Files to SharePoint.Contents. This will allow you to navigate to a specific folder by clicking the folder name to expand the table (which is the folder's contents) rather than filtering for it as I suggested in my previous comment. You can then use the Combine Files button to merge the files using the automated custom function just like you would when connecting to a local folder.

These days, more and more people prefer to keep their files in online storages rather than on computers or local networks. Indeed, it's very handy to have one hub for all your files, sync them across multiple devices, share with other people and work together at the same time. A variety of online file storage systems such as Dropbox, Google Drive, and iCloud exist but only OneDrive is integrated directly into Windows 10.

Select the folder and click Add to my OneDrive on the top menu. Or right-click the folder and choose the same option from the context menu.Add shared folders to OneDrive for work or schoolTo add a shared folder to My Files, select it and click Add shortcut to My files at the top of the page, or right-click the folder and pick this option:Tips and notes:

Note. After syncing has been turned off, online files will be removed from the folder, while the files that you opened on your computer (locally downloaded copies) will remain. To remove the folder from your Windows Explorer entirely, right-click on it, and choose Delete in the context menu. Before you do that, it'd be wise to double-check that syncing is really disabled, otherwise you may end up deleting the original folder from the owner's OneDrive.

The original issue was Some users could not download multiple files from SharePoint and OneDrive or load Stream videos hosted on SharePoint for a specific region (North Europe). There is an unexpected error that happens on the issues of downloading.

Because of this issue, the user cannot download multiple files simultaneously from SharePoint Online sites and OneDrive for Business. Also unable to Load videos within Microsoft Stream that have been uploaded to SharePoint Online.

Then I noticed that all of a sudden my desktop in front of me was filled up with files and folders from my Pictures folder. I looked in OneDrive and saw that I had apparently moved the -contents- of the Desktop and Pictures folders to OneDrive, but I didn't move them into a Desktop and Pictures folder but rather into the root of the OneDrive.

From the file explorer window, select the files you want to combine to PDF, choose Actions > Adobe Document Cloud from the top menu or the right-click menu, and then select Combine Files by Adobe.

Adobe Acrobat performs OCR on PDF files that contain images, vector art, hidden text, or a combination of these elements. For example, the Add-in performs OCR on PDF files created from scanned documents. The Add-in also performs OCR on the text that it can't interpret because the text was encoded incorrectly in the source application.

You'll also find information on how to automatically combine multiple files from the same folder. This is typically done when you have data that could exceed Excel row limits. For example, you might have an export of sales data that consists of 1.2 million rows (100K for each month). Since Excel cannot handle this, it is useful to have a separate export for each month and to store each monthly file in the same folder. You can then use the multiple files approach to consolidate your files for analysis without exceeding any Excel limits.

There are two parts to this article, getting a single file or getting multiple files and combining them (a great use case would be consolidating monthly sales data where each file had a particular month). Use the links below to get right to your use case.

Microsoft makes getting files from folders a bit easier with their SharePoint Connector. The first thing you'll need to do is to get the URL of your SharePoint Library. Note this will be something like

Now you should see a list of just the files you want to combine (yay for making it this far). Double-click on the double arrows at the top of the Content column to get the data from the files in your desired folder.

Note that in order to combine files Power Query does require that the table or sheet names be identical in each of your files. Don't worry if this is not the case for you. There's a way around this (isn't there always) by using the sheet index. Check out this article and video from Reza Rad.

At first, you may expect deleting files from Microsoft OneDrive to be complicated because the files may be on multiple computers, smartphones and other devices as well as the cloud. However, Microsoft has created a file management system similar to the File Explorer app on Windows. Thus, most people will be familiar with the process.

Alternatively, you may be managing your files from a smartphone or other mobile device. On the OneDrive app, either search for the file or press the Files tab to browse your folders. When you find the file you want to delete, tap the three-dot menu button next to it. Select Delete, then confirm the deletion in the popup window. Like deleting a file on your computer, this will send it to the OneDrive recycle bin.

One of the great things about Microsoft OneDrive is that you can access your files from a browser (and edit them using Office 365 apps). If you want to delete a file from here, navigate to the web version of OneDrive. You can open this easily from your computer using the View Online button. Then, find the file, select it and click the delete button in the menu bar.

No matter how you delete your OneDrive files, you will need to empty the recycle bin to fully remove them. The easiest way to do this is to go to the OneDrive website and select the Recycle Bin from the menu on the left. Once open, select certain files and click Delete or choose Empty Recycle Bin to delete them all. Confirm this action in the pop-up window. This will permanently delete the files from OneDrive and all connected devices.

Whatever your reasons for switching from Google to Microsoft are, you are probably wondering how you can migrate your Google Drive files to OneDrive quickly and securely. Moving away from one service to the other may seem complicated and overwhelming but it doesn't have to be so.

If you decide to use Google Takeout, please note that it will  not  download files and folders that are  shared with you.  To save the documents that other people have shared with you, select and download them manually from the "Shared with me" section of your Drive.
