If you count yourself among them, you know what we mean. You grab opportunity by the horns and don't let go. You lose yourself in the hustle and flow. You want it so bad you can taste it, er, like mom's spaghetti.

One way to do that is to -- yep, you guessed it -- lose yourself in the music. Pop, rap, rock, punk or metal, you name it, kick-ass, blood-pumping songs are all fuel for the hustle. To help you get your musical motivation on, tune in, turn on and listen to the seven songs below.

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Sure, Clarkson applies this platitude to rebounding from a breakup, but it rings true in running a business, too. Use her fiery bounceback anthem as fuel when rebounding from the darker moments that most all entrepreneurs eventually face -- when a business partner breaks up with you, when you get shot down, and, yes, even when you fail and have to start again. Like the pop songstress sings, "Stand a little taller" in the face of rejection. Keep your chin up, champ. One measly setback doesn't mean you're over.

"The Hustle" is a disco song by songwriter/arranger Van McCoy and the Soul City Symphony. It went to No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and Hot Soul Singles charts during the summer of 1975.[3] It also peaked at No. 1 on the Canadian RPM charts, No. 9 on the Australian Singles Chart (Kent Music Report) and No. 3 in the UK.[4][5] It would eventually sell over one million copies.[5] The song won the Grammy Award for Best Pop Instrumental Performance early in 1976 for songs recorded in 1975.

As far as i know Van McKoy did the hustle, electric boogie is reggae, Marcia Griffiths who recorded the song was shocked upon arrival in America to see people dancing to it so much so that she had to learn the steps as it is danced differently in her native country

For as long as humans have been around, work songs have existed: farmers whistled about the toils of agricultural grind, sailors sang shanties as they scrubbed decks and slaves preserved their cultural traditions and endured hardship through shared melodies. The melancholy of labour birthed the blues, as singers lamented giving their lives and bodies for a pittance, and country, folk and Americana broadcasted the plight of the working man.

Popular work songs were often about being a cog in a capitalist machine. Everyone has to work, they mourned, and that takes its toll. They weren't glamourising the grind because they knew their effort didn't match the supposed rewards. If Springsteen had told steel mill workers they'd be big ballin' if they just wanted it a bit more, he'd likely not be selling out Hyde Park 30-odd years later.

Today the Hustle continues to be danced and is found in social dance circles, ballroom studios, competitions, and other dance events. Hustle dancers still dance to classic Disco beats and also to more contemporary pop music. In the late seventies, punk rock emerged and there was a wave of anti-disco movement. While the hustle faded out of popular culture, it never died. Hustle fanatics of the seventies never gave up on the dance and continued to evolve the dance in the underground dance club scene through the eighties. The dancers of this former era are still passing on their knowledge to younger dancers, although the current hustle bears little resemblance to the hustle of the seventies.

But don't for a second think I like the song, which is from the movie "Hustle & Flow." I can't get the music out of my head because in a larger sense, the accolades the song is getting represent another hustle that's going on in the black community.

The alleviation of expectations that comes with lo-fi music production is "kind of therapeutic," Turner says, and the extra cash doesn't hurt. Here's how he built and manages his lo-fi music side hustle.

The production of these songs is "much simpler than people realize," and the only real cost is time, Turner says. He and Bono make the tracks using a guitar, a keyboard and Logic Pro, a popular music mixing software that currently costs $199.99.

"The barrier to entry is so low that anyone who is a professional or casual musician can start on this as a side hustle immediately," he says. "The beauty of streaming is that the cost floor is really low ... You just put it on Spotify, and if it's the right offering, it pretty much immediately starts making money."
