But what about all those other obstacles that are already on your builder base? If you only remove an obstacle after a new one spawns, sure you'll get the 6 gems, but you won't ever make headway on your existing inventory of obstacles (and the gems within). Edit: This seems to only work on regular obstacles (tree/trunk/bush/stone) as I tried with the 9th cake and it did not reward with gems (yes I know where my gem positioning was in the pattern) but the pattern resumed when I removed a regular obstacle.
