I uninstalled the extension and restarted my Macbook and sound quality was significantly better albeit not 100% back to normal (very slight distortion). This experience made me realize that this had happened with my Windows laptop recently as well but is the distortion was minor and not as noticeable and only happens when I use my laptop on my lap in bed. I uninstalled the extension on my Windows and recreated the scenario I described above and I haven't really noticed any distortion so far. So it seems like I fixed the issue but I wanted to know about possible consequence, if any, dealt to the laptops.

Hi, I change my master password via the chrome extension (1password X, though I have both extensions installed). However, my old master password still works to sign in on the desktop app, and on the Iphone app. I then manually updated my master password on the iphone app, which no only accepts the new password. However, the change has not propagated to the desktop app.

Sorry, but them's the breaks. But what you can do (at least in windows) is individually control the volumes of different running programs. So if instead of visiting different websites on different tabs, you visit them with different applications, you can control the volume by clicking the "speaker" icon on the windows taskbar and then clicking "mixer". For example, visit one website in chrome, and the other in firefox or IE. Rowe suggested installing chrome canary as your second browser, but any browser application will work.
I am making a chrome extension, however, I have come across the problem that my content script will not run on a chrome-extension://* scheme. I've found this is because it is a URI scheme rather than a URL. Is it possible to allow in my manifest.json to add URI schemes to the matches array?

I found this site ( +/master/chrome/common/extensions/permissions/permissions_data_unittest.cc) where on lines 377 to 393 talks about "Regular" and "Component" extensions and how "Component" extensions should have access to chrome-extension:// schemes when are specified. Im not sure what this source code is but if there is any information on that, then that is the point I am at in researching currently.
The approach on the +/master/chrome/common/extensions/permissions/permissions_data_unittest.cc code in line 377 could be feasible for you (also if you figured it out already please post the solution you implemented). However, if you follow the above mentioned approach you will be still working with URLs. Maybe if you explain how do you pretend to access the URIs from the background script and how the URIs are formed (maybe they have a commond pattern) it will be clearer. If you need to use specific resources that will be located within the URLs of your scope, implementing "matches": [" , "], should do the trick without being concerned about CORS or SOP, even for the URI long version (eg:mydomain.yourpage1.com/resource1.png, mydomain.yourpage1.com/resource1.index.html, etc.).

Hi, recently I wiped my windows pc and reinstalled chrome. I added Bitwarden chrome extension and entered my self hosted domain name which was accepted but when entering my username and password I get an error message however when I enter these details into the address bar using my domain name I get in no problem.
