No consistent time. Takes a lot of clicking around various cities, opening and closing the map, fiddling with turning on/off data services. Sometimes I will see the live weather without any indication of cloud coverage on the map and again, when I click to fly it is clear wind 3kts at 225

@leptiotgerard sadly not. the only workaround is if the live weather shows for an airport (even wout the map reflecting cloud cover etc), to start on the runway. Usually I start at a gate w the aircraft off, but that results in the clear skies w 3kt wind at 225. I then taxi to a gate, shut down and begin my pre-flight. VERY frustrating.

My general workaround (after repeatedly trying to get this to function) is to just manually set up the weather myself from the approporaite Metar feed taken from the internet, but it really would be good to get this all working as advertised. Any help greatly appreciated

The only things you could try is, instead of the Live in the lower (weather) corner, select the preset button and change your weather on the fly, see if that jolts it back to the live weather.

Other thing you might want to try, is click on your username in the menu (hit escape whilst on the tarmac), and change the server to another one. It is usually on automatic to have the lowest ping, but sometimes switching it to another one might also give you the correct depiction of weather.

Regardless, enjoyed lovely flight today from EGKK to LSZH, UK weather seems pretty much spot on as the departure from Gatwick goes near where I live so the temperatures are hovering around zero with ground mist, broken cloud and winter sun and the approach and landing in Zurich was suitably gloomy,-3 degreesC and snowy for mid December.

You can check my post , I had same problem with no clouds in live weather. You can see what I did , now I have clouds all the time. I know it looks like you have solved it , but might be worth to check what I did too.

The METAR in the game and on the ATIS is giving correct weather info that correlates to the real life METAR so my system settings are obvioulsy correct. theissue seems to be somewhere in the system that is not generating correct clouds, precipitaiton or wind/gusts etc.

It greyed out my weather on the quick menu, to fix it you have to go into option > data > multiplayer and turn this on. Then reload the game. After it starts working you can apparently turn multiplayer option back to off. I dont know why it works this way but it does/did.

So following the directions for other connectivity issues I fixed my problem.

Sign out of Xbox and the Microsoft store. Sign out of your computer. Sign back into your computer, sign in to Xbox. Your gamer tag should show in the upper right corner. Then sign in to the store. I had a popup stating that there was a discrepancy in the 2 sign ins. Choose the Xbox sign in when asked.

There was then a mandatory store update. Not sure if it was because of the changed signin or just an update. I started the game. Turned off live weather in the data page. Saved. Turned live weather back on. Saved. And now the weather is working normally again.

"Had the same thing yesterday after I turned multiplayer on and flew around Detroit. Then I turned it off, and had no weather icon. After trying a lot of things, I did the following this morning, and I have the weather icon back.

Once at the airfield, clicked on FLY. Now I had the weather icon back. Opened it up, and set the weather to Clear Skies. Hit ESC and clicked on Restart at bottom menu. When at airfield again, weather icon was still there.

Cant change weather day and type of multyplayer

I cannot click on flight condition section (top right of screen)

I would like to buy reno dlc but with this i will not , fix this!

1 options, data multiplayer set to on save and apply

2 enter in world map as you do to play any flight

3 right upper corner flight conditions click

4 set the option to multiplayer off

5 star any flight and look if the icon of weather is there again
