Using a link column means I have to navigate to the folder, find the link, copy it, and then add it in Monday. Using the Drive integration would mean that I can find it the same way I find a file. Super useful.

To set-up the JBL LINK Drive, drivers simply plug the device into a 12V socket (cigarette lighter) or auxiliary outlet and pair their iOS or Android smartphone to the Google App installed. For vehicles equipped with built-in Bluetooth, JBL LINK Drive will sync with both the smartphone in use and the car stereo system. For cars without Bluetooth, drivers can set up the LINK Drive through the auxiliary outlet to connect with the cars existing speakers.

More specifically, I want to have the user folder for my home account another disk that has more space, but keep my other smaller accounts on my ssd. I was able to copy my user folder to another disk, but now I need to link it to the home folder on my ssd, I want it accessible from a normal boot, and please don't tell me that what I did was not the best thing, I just want an answer. How do I get it to create a link that goes from /home/username to /extra-home/username and is recognised by the system when loading the user folders?

If everything looks good, at least from the terminal (contents of /home/username/ appear as expected), then log out and log back in (I'm assuming you're on Ubuntu desktop) and it should be working normally. However, if it isn't, just delete the symlink and move the archived home folder back to its original location.

If I use the Google Drive API explorer and enter the Id of the file and enter "webViewLink" in the "fields" textbox, then when I execute the request, I see something like this (actual link obfuscated)...

Well, I know some things about the URL in the second link: The usp= must be source parameter, that where the link came from, and yes, this is sharing. It came from sharing ("Share..."). And also there are may other parameters:

And there are also parameters before usp=: "edit, view: these parameters tell the browser the priority that which type of access to go into if this access type is accessible. So, if the link has "edit" parameter but the user don't have permission to edit the file/folder, then automaticlly it will be redirected into "view" permission mode.

why the first one has open?id= and the second one has drive/folders/, why? Which one is better to use in which situations? If both are fine in any situation, then why are they two? What is the point of it? You know, I get the point of URL ending parameters (usp= and stuff), but I don't get the point of different URLs which work kinda absolutely the same way: to share/get file/folder.

I am new to coding and have been trying to enhance a Google Sheets project by adding automated email reminders through Google Apps Script. In this, I was trying to attach to the reminder email one or more Google Drive files which are best referred to through their URL(s), inserted as links in specific cells.I tried things like range.getRichTextValues()[1][1].getLinkUrl() but none worked.Any help much appreciated!

Choose this option to share items with lots of people you might not even know personally. For example, you can use these links to post to Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn, or share in an email or message. Anyone who gets the link can view or edit the item, depending on the permission you set. Users with the link cannot upload new items. If the sharing link points to a folder, you may be required to sign in with a Microsoft account. Don't have one?

People with existing access can be used by people who already have access to the document or folder. It does not change any permissions. Use this if you just want to send a link to somebody who already has access.

Specific people gives access only to the people you specify, although other people may already have access. If people forward the sharing invitation, only people who already have access to the item will be able to use the link.

Allow editing lets people who are signed in with a Microsoft Account edit the files or folders they have access to. If you're sharing a folder, people with Edit permissions can copy, move, edit, rename, share, and delete anything in the folder they have access to. Unchecking this box means that people can view, copy, or download your items without signing in. They can also forward the link to other people. However, they cannot make changes to the version on your OneDrive.

Set expiration date lets you set a date for the link to expire. After the date you set, the link won't work anymore and you will need to create a new link for users requiring access to your file or folder.

Set password letsyou set a password to access the file. When a user clicks the link, they will be prompted to enter a password before they can access the file. You'll need to provide this password separately to anyone you want to share the file with.

You can also set editing permissions on the previous screen. Under Send link, next to the Name, group or email field, select the pencil icon to change the editing permissions for the people or groups you have entered.

Could someone please provide user friendly and easy steps on how to have Keepass linking with Google Drive so that we can access the passwords stored in Keepass in a shared folder within Google Drive.

If you want to link KeePass to Google Drive (save your password database directly to Google Drive in the cloud) you will need to install one of the third-party I/O & Synchronization plugins such as KeeAnywhere, or KPGoogleSync. The plugin developers are responsible for providing documentation and support for their plugins.

Like most organizations that use G Suite, templates are a huge help when making sure people stay consistent with their paper work. Things like Expense Reports, Name Change Requests, Travel Requests, and even TPS reports with the NEW cover sheet! With the new Google Drive system, it seems that Google has removed a feature that you used to be able to get a link to your Template. At our organization we have a user portal/intranet where most common tasks are front and center and easy for users to find quick with links to commonly used documents, they just click the link and away they go creating a Expense Report. I am aware that the users could use the Template Gallery by going to Google Drive > New > Sheets > Templates > Company Name > Expense Report . This is a lot of clicking when users are accustom to one or two clicks (some stored links in their favorites).

Note: If you cannot view the Google Drive option in the Rich Content Editor LTI Tools menu, you can still include your file by creating a hyperlink or publishing your Google content to the web and pasting the embed code in the HTML editor.

You can view a list of external tools from the menubar. Click the Tools link [1]. Navigate to the Apps option [2], then select the View All option [3].

Note: If the Google link does not display, the LTI may not be enabled in your course. You can still include your file by creating a hyperlink or publishing your Google content to the web and pasting the embed code in the HTML editor.

Note: If your file is in a Microsoft Office format such as Word, Excel, or PowerPoint, you need to save it as PDF and upload it to Google Drive to extract the above-mentioned embed link.

However you can set this to restrict rclone to a specific folderhierarchy or to access data within the "Computers" tab on the driveweb interface (where files from Google's Backup and Sync desktopprogram go).

In order to do this you will have to find the Folder ID of thedirectory you wish rclone to display. This will be the last segmentof the URL when you open the relevant folder in the drive webinterface. ff782bc1db
