Wasn't sure if we were going for another Teen Titans Go, and the 10 minute format worried me... but I was really pleasantly surprised when I tuned in for a couple of episodes and it was really good. Solid action, fun jokes and cool exploration of DC Comics properties. 10/10 would recommend.
Wonder Woman is an Amazon warrior and occasionally reminds us of her prowess and her need for daily training. Although an Amazon, she speaks with a very American voice. By nature she is tough and confident and, although she has a strong sense of justice, is less tolerant than Superman towards captured criminals. Perhaps to explain this, she tells us that as a child she did not have toys and had to fight a cyclops instead. She can be both romantic and condescending towards men at times. Occasionally she exclaims "Great Hera!" when suddenly surprised.

When in action, Joker is agile and acrobatic, and can make use of weapons like small gas bombs, a small crossbow (concealed in his coat) or 'joke shop' items like a pop gun that can shoot entangling streamers, a party whistle that can blow gas, playing cards that create smoke when thrown, bomb-like firecrackers, or a buzzer that can give an electrocuting handshake. A more substantial device he uses is a giant "super laughing gas" bomb. Also in one story, Joker makes use of a 'Mother Box' from Apokolips to dodge the pursuing Justice League and in another, tries to make use of Lex Luthor's "bomb of ultimate destruction". As elsewhere, he can be seen in scenes where he is surrounded by outsized versions of everyday objects. To infiltrate the Watchtower, he adopts an impenetrable disguise.
In 2016, Warner Bros. and DC envisioned Justice League Action as the next big animated hit focusing on kid-friendly action and humor over character development and intricate plots, potentially providing healthy competition to Teen Titans Go!. Produced by Jim Krieg, Alan Burnett and Butch Lukic, and starring familiar voices such as Kevin Conroy, Mark Hamill, Troy Baker and Diedrich Bader, Justice League Action debuted its pilot episode in 2016 at Comic-Con International in San Diego to mostly positive reactions.
"Justice League Action largely carries on the tone and style of Justice League Unlimited, but with a greater element of humor," Conroy said at at the time. "It's definitely a Justice League action show. It's got all the action and the drama of a Justice League episode."

Badass Normal: He has no powers, but he's the most skilled in hand-to-hand of the big three. Berserk Button: He sends a rather menacing Death Glare at Cyborg when the latter has to control Batman like a video game character against Toyman and complains that Batman has no powers. Jerk with a Heart of Gold: He's a no-nonsense fighter and strategist with a bit of a crusty attitude, but you can't deny that he wants to protect others. Laser-Guided Amnesia: In "Time Out", he chews out Booster Gold for his It's All About Me attitude. However, the plot ends up being about him getting trapped outside of the timestream with him and discovering that Booster does heroics that nobody else wants to do on his own time. But it doesn't last, as Batman's life gets put in danger and Booster has to send him back to the timestream despite that it'll wipe his memories all the way back to the last time they saw each other being when he got chewed out. Batman is reluctant to go through it, but tells Booster that he hopes he'll learn about Booster's true self again one day. The Spock: Of the big three, he's the most controlled and logical of the league and is a master of exposition.

Using action figures, parents can teach their kids the difference between good and bad values or actions. This can help them to be more involved in any social scenarios as they grow older.
Action figures are a good way to teach kids to pick on additional skills like learning how to count by using the action figures as objects to count. Teaching basic addition and subtraction through story building is possible using the same concept.

Justice League Action was an American animated television series created by Jim Krieg, Butch Lukic and Alan Burnett, aired on Cartoon Network from 2016 to 2018. It was focused on short and action-packed episodes, telling the many adventures of the Justice League in their fight against the forces of evil. Most of the episodes are only semi-connected and can be watched from any order, aside from the first four episodes, which tell one singular story.
The animation style and character designs are smooth and gorgeous, invoking the Bruce Timm style, but not doing a carbon copy of it. Justice League Action is all of the meat and none of fat moving with blazing quickness from action sequence to action sequence. The color textures and animation are extremely rich making the inventive fight sequences really pop on-screen.
With a lightning fast pace and a revolving door of fan favorite DC comics characters, it's tough not to have a good time with this action-centric return to animation for the Justice League - although it just might be missing some of the heart of the previous incarnations.
Next month Cartoon Network will set the superhero stage for younger (and surely) older fans as well, with their new series Justice League Action. The show is produced by Alan Burnett, Butch Lukic, and Jim Krieg for Warner Bros Animation and is the latest in the networks's long history with DC Comics related shows, such as Teen Titans Go! and DC Nation Shorts. Their new upcoming series looks like it has the chance to be both a fun counterpart to the live-action DC Extended Universe and continue their tradition of lively animation.
It seems that Justice League Action is a prime place to acquaint younger audiences with many of the characters that we will be encountering in the live-action universe in the near future like Steppenwolf, Deathstroke, or even Booster Gold. However, in any case, its always comforting to know that the super friends will be back on the air and back in action.
With the announcement that Justice League Action would be the next animated series in this ever-popular franchise, some were concerned that it would skew more towards the sillier side than that of the classic action shows. I'm happy to report that the newest installment strikes a surprising balance between the promised action and kid-friendly comedy. It's the closest thing I've seen to the classic 90s/00s DC superhero series in years.
To be fair, I've only seen the hour-long premiere of Justice League Action, titled "Shazam Slam," so it's difficult to say where this series will ultimately end up when compared to its forebears. However, if this tone stays consistent, I'd place its seriousness below that of the mature direct-to-video material, and shows like Teen Titans, Young Justice, and Batman Beyond. The closest comparison is probably Batman: The Brave and the Bold, which took a slightly silly, episodic approach to storytelling but did not skimp on the action. However, this new series appears to favor longer interconnected arcs featuring more complex stories and an increasingly large cast of characters rather than independent installments with new guest stars.
The voice cast won't take very long to get used to; the animation, however, might take a little more time. It's definitely got that classic look to the costume design and characters themselves, but it also has just enough of a cartoonish touch to keep it from being mistaken for similar series. It's a perfect look for a show that delivers bone-crunching combat and epic fights that range all over Metropolis (and beyond) but also keeps things kid-friendly with sparing use of silliness. This really should be a crowd-pleaser across demographics. Sure, older audiences looking for more mature content or younger audiences who gravitate towards silly stuff might find it lacking, but it's definitely worth a watch for fans of DC Comics, superhero fare, or just well-produced, high-quality action cartoons in general. I can't wait to see more!
