Her father and mother were in so much pain. They also told her that she would have to be obedient and listen to them if she wanted her parents to rest in peace. Otherwise, they would trap her parents' spirits forever, and they would never be reincarnated.
She had no choice but to obey their demands. They sent her into the Sun Moon Imperial Soul Engineering Academy, and she joined the academy and started her lessons without any prior assessment. They also told her that she would join their ranks officially once her cultivation reached a certain level. They would release her parents' spirits when that day came, so that they could be reborn. In order to put Na Na's mind at ease, they let her see her parents' spirits once every two months. She lost all courage to defy them every time she saw her parents' agony, so she can only follow their instructions.
