I've only been using NeoVim for a few weeks. I've been using iTerm2 and I really like it. Never have I found it to be slow in any way. Occasionally, when closing vim, it'll lag for half a second or so, but I'm unsure whether that's iterm2 or my bloated nvim configuration (regardless, its rare enough to feel unimportant to mention). I tried using WezTerm today and although I respect the fact that it uses Lua, I don't really want to spend the time learning the api to get a config I like when I'm unsure if I'll even end up liking it. Also, it took a lot of configuring to make the text look good, yet there are still issues...

From a glance this shows me that my current battery is 72% charged, CPU is at18%, memory utilization is at 22GB, that it's currently January 31st at 10:59AM,that I'm in the ~/temp/sandbox/www.codependentcodr.com/content/static/imgsdirectory, that my current Git branch is iterm2setup (and that there areuncommitted changes), and that my current Python version is 3.9.1 (which isprobably redundant since that's in my badge, but ?).

On my MacBook (Monterey 12.3.1), I recently switched from the standard terminal to iterm2. However, I noticed some strange behavior when using vim in the new terminal. If I scrolled to the top of the file using the mouse, not only did my cursor remain in its current position but I was able to scroll beyond the beginning of the file into the terminal output. e24fc04721
