The solution for me was to change the content of the file ireport.conf located in the directory /Applications/Jaspersoft iReport Designer.app/Contents/Resources/ireport/etc under the line with this text

17253: iReport 3.7.1, which is bundled with the JasperServer installer, needs special handling in order to run with Vista or Windows 7. On these OS platforms, iReport must run with the most current versions of Java 1.6 or the current version of the Java 1.7 beta. On these OS platforms, iReport will require JDKs greater or equal to: 1.6.0_18-b03 or 1.7.0-b74. Additionally, you will need to modify the iReport loader script to point to this higher Java version. Edit the following file f0`ile: \ireport\bin\iReportLoader.bat

With the oracle JDK installed it appears that iReport is not functioning correctly due to some class or AWT changes. The Quit iReport menu item doesn't work at all, and there's no Preferences option on the application menu. Preferences don't appear to show up anywhere else on menus that I can find either. To quit the application, I have to use Force Quit. My install is required to use Java7 due to the integration of some third party Java custom data sources, so using the stock Java 6 that comes with OS/X doesn't help at all. Right now, to do any configuration, I have to hand-edit the ireport.properties file. I've tried several tips, such as manually setting a few command line parameters to try to get it to understand that this is a normal JDK version, not the Apple platform version, but none seem to help.

Once there navgate to /Contents/Resources/ireportpro/etc/ and open ireportpro.conf in your favorite text editor. And edit the default JDK/JRW location to point to the Previous JDK/JRE version. Sample below:

hello,

because there are not so many individual reports to get detailed overviews from the glpi data,

we amde a lot of reports with ireport and jasper . These reports took the data over jdbs from the mysql database. The reports can be viewed over a tomcat server, which is on the same server.

To change the version of Java used by iReport, the following setting has to be added or updated. /fonf/ireportpro.conf or /ireport/etc/ireportpro.conf. The use of the command line would depend on the installation made.

Hello

I tried to insert your string of ireport in my test database and it seems to work properly.

But I always use utf8_general_ci

This is the link that directed for the test:

 _dm_ireport2php/dm_ireport2php/test1.php

I do not know if this can be of help!
