The Fitbit app is compatible with most popular phones. To set up and use your Fitbit products and services, you must install the Fitbit app on a compatible device running one of the following operating systems:

I bought 2 for Christmas, these watchbands are awful, one you can't even snap thru the holes the other slides up down and you can't put it in any hole. There has to be something we can do besides request a new band! It will do the same thing. We spent w/tax and shipping almost $200 and are so disappointed. I had the Charge HR which I had to get 2 replacements, and bought my husband a Charge 2 which I now wear and works so far after a year still perfect. I am a long time fitbit owner and these two last Inspire purchases just 6 weeks ago we are regretting. There has to be something Fitbit will do about getting us Diff bands like the Charge 2 that is like a REGULAR watch band. This design is totally flawed.

Tweezers?? We shouldn't have to use tweezers. These inspire watches (we bought 2 for our middle school children) One just gave up on wearing it because the pin will not go into the band holes, the other watch band recently started sliding and you can't even get it in the hole, she was wearing it every day and would tell us how many steps she took each night. I called you have no other replacement bands like a regular watch ( I have the Charge 2) all the bands should be made like the Charge 2, esp when these are geared to younger aged groups. Sooooo Disappointed in my expensive last minute decision to surprise them both with these watches. Design is definitely flawed and there should be a diff kind to replace under warranty that works long term.

Agree though my alta died after 2 years for no reason and was told better to go to the inspire which was meant to be better. I like it overall but the changing of the watchband needs to be rectified to be like the Alta which was easy

I disabled the "screen wake" (light bulb is dull) yet the screen still lights up during the night for no apparent reason (meaning I don't touch the screen nor is the fitbit hitting my pillow or anything). Obviously a bug. Why can't it only light up when the button is pressed??

I tried everything, but I can't get connected GPS to work on my Inspire HR. When I start an exercise, walking, it tries to connect, then says something about start the fitbit app, then it says not found. If I start the activity anyway, it breaks off. I have to disable GPS on the device now to be able to track activities (without GPS then ofcourse).

I tried starting the fitbit app first, or the device first, rebooted the phone, no luck. I followed the manual and help info. The app has access to my location. But it also says to check in the fitbit app that connected GPS will be turned on for the activity (same as for some other devices), but I only have the different activities under auto-recognize, and both for walk end run it says there that connected GPS won't be turned on, and it is not possible to change it there.

Still no response from fitbit ... disappointing. Have been trying other things that i googled, like logging out of the app first, clearing cache first, but no use. And if we don't get the screen to turn on GPS, something is clearly wrong, right ? Still hoping for a solution ...

Exactly the same problem here and was glad to see this solution. Reboot fitbit, reinstalled Fitbit app on my S9 and received notifications for location access on my phone / in the app. Did not see this before.

Update: running the fitbit app in the background and connecting my inspire hr works fine now. The map of our walks is looking much better but not as detailed when you let your phone register a walk in the fitbit app. It would be better if the fitbit takes more gps waypoints to print the route on a map.

No matter how long the appt. is in my calendar (10 minutes, all day, etc.) I get MULTIPLE notifications for it throughout the day starting at midnight. It is such a nuisance! I can't shut the notifications off because I still need them, but just one per event! How has there still not been an update to this problem that every single fitbit user has? I just got the new inspire 2 instead of the apple watch, but I may have to return it and move on from fitbit. My old Charge 2 did the same thing, I thought the problem was resolved. Unacceptable.

Today I purchased my wife and I Fitbit Inspire to help keep my heart rate up to increase our cardio. While doing circuit training at the gym I checked my inspire reading against two other heart rate monitors and found the Inspire to be 30-40 bpm below the other two. My wife had the same issue. Her Inspire was well below the other two readings. Is there a way to get more accurate readings or are these not designed for aggressive workouts?

Especially during cycling the measured heart rate seems way too low. Compared to my wahoo hear rate monitor on my chest the fitbit measures ridiculously low levels. Therefore it also displays that most of my minutes on the bike were below zones. ff782bc1db
