When they were issued in definitive (paper) form, Treasury notes were issued in various denominations to a high of $1 million. However, to refund a sizeable amount of the debt incurred during World War II, from 1955 to 1969 Treasury issued notes with the added denominations of $100 million and $500 million.

Presently, all U.S. Treasury notes are issued and held electronically and the 2, 3, 5, and 7-year notes are auctioned every month. The 10-year notes are auctioned at original issue in February, May, August, and November, with reopenings in January, March, April, June, July, September, October, and December.

There's plenty of stories of people accidentally deleting parts or entire notes, leaving the note, and then coming back to find theres no way to Command+Z. It's is gone forever. I've personally experienced this and it's absurd.

Make the feature for iCloud+ subscribers only if you're worried about storage costs. But since Notion now has this for free, I'm switching over since I can't trust Apple Notes as my second brain without some sort of history or backup.

The macrocyclic lactones enjoy a position of prominence in the control of parasites, and their history may be of interest, and even of use, in an age in which the search for chemotherapeutic agents has been transformed by modern technology. Much of their history has been recorded piecemeal in a wide variety of publications. The present review provides additional detail, and offers a personal perspective on the history of ivermectin and related avermectins. Brief notes are included on the subsequent development of other macrocyclic lactones. Milbemycin preceded the avermectins as a macrocyclic lactone of agricultural importance, but was used for a different purpose. Development of the avermectins arose from the isolation, in the laboratories of the Kitasato Institute, of a novel soil-dwelling bacterium and its transmittal (in 1974) to the laboratories of Merck & Co., Inc. There it was found (in 1975) to produce a potent anthelmintic substance, which was then identified and transmuted by interdisciplinary research into an antiparasitic product. Initially the focus was on its applicability to veterinary science and animal husbandry; and after developmental research by many scientific teams, the product was introduced commercially (in 1981) for the control of endoparasitic nematodes and ectoparasitic arthropods in livestock. Subsequently, special applications in human medicine were developed, and were successfully implemented in partnership with World Health Organization and several non-governmental organizations (NGOs).

A version history panel will open to the right of your Box Note with the current version at the top of the list. For each version, you will be able to see the date and time the version was saved and the editor associated with that version.

You can select any past version to view it, and you can click Restore for any of the past versions listed to make that version current. This action will not cause any history to be lost. The restored version will be added on to the existing version history as the current version.

Unfortunately, the Natural History Notes series in Frontiers has now ended. However, you can still send short natural history papers to The Scientific Naturalist, published in our sister journal, Ecology.

The natural history of organisms and the landscapes they inhabit has long been the foundation of ecology, evolution, and conservation. In recent years, there has been a resurgence of interest in scientific natural history and the larger questions that it raises.

Natural history has had a long tradition of high quality art and writing and we are looking to continue this tradition in Frontiers in Ecology and the Environment, with the new series, launched in March 2015, entitled Natural History Notes.

The United States officially adopts the dollar sign in 1785. The symbol evolves from the Spanish American figure for pesos. From colonial to modern times, the United States has issued several types of banknotes with unique purposes, like paying taxes, earning interest on an investment, or buying goods.

The Treasury seal first appears on currency during the Civil War. The federal government issues the first $1 Legal Tender" notes. These banknotes feature a portrait of Secretary of the Treasury Salmon P. Chase.

American money has depicted Liberty and Justice as allergorical figures. On interest-bearing notes of 1863, Justice can be seen holding her scales. She appears on the right side of a $50 bill from 1880 holding a sword and shield.

Congress establishes a national banking system and authorizes the U.S. Department of the Treasury to oversee the issuance of National Banknotes. This system sets Federal guidelines for chartering and regulating "national" banks and authorizes those banks to issue national currency secured by the purchase of United States bonds.

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing begins engraving and printing the faces and seals of U.S. banknotes. Before this, U.S. banknotes were produced by private banknote companies and then sent to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing for sealing, trimming, and cutting.

In 1896 US released a series of silver certificates with neoclassical designs. They were referred to as the "Educational Series". The $1 note had allegorical figures of history instructing the youth. Two dollar notes had figures of science presenting the children, Steam and Electricity, to adults, Commerce and Manufacture.

The Federal Reserve Board, which is separate from the Treasury Department, issues $10 Federal Reserve notes featuring Andrew Jackson's portrait. These notes are physically larger than $10 bills currently in circulation.

BEP engraver Louis S. Schofield added an automobile in front of the Treasury building image on the back of the $10 notes issued between 1928 and 1996. The car was based on a number of different models and brands that were available in the 1920s.

On July 14, 1969, the Federal Reserve and the U.S. Department of the Treasury announced that banknotes in denominations of $500, $1,000, $5,000, and $10,000 would be discontinued due to lack of use. Although they were issued until 1969, they were last printed in 1945.

Because United States notes no longer served any function not already adequately met by Federal Reserve notes, their issuance was discontinued and, beginning in 1971, no new United States notes were placed into circulation.

A security thread and microprinting are introduced in Federal Reserve notes to deter counterfeiting by copiers and printers. The features first appear in Series 1990 $100 notes. By Series 1993, the features appeared on all denominations except $1 and $2 notes.

In the first significant design change since the 1920s, U.S. currency is redesigned to incorporate a series of new counterfeit deterrents. Issuance of the new banknotes begins with the $100 note in 1996, followed by the $50 note in 1997, the $20 note in 1998, and the $10 and $5 notes in 2000.

The Federal Reserve Board launches uscurrency.gov to inform the public about the security and design features of Federal Reserve notes. This website offers multi-lingual educational materials free for public use.

If the Brief Life History field contains research notes or warnings, the following message will be displayed: "Please move warnings and cautions from the Brief Life History to the notes. Then mark the note as an alert note."

In Family Tree, we recommend that you move some information from the life history to notes. Specifically, move all information that is not a life sketch to the notes. If you feel the content is life history related, close the banner. If you think that other users should read the information before making changes, move the content to an alert note.

The Brief Life History summarizes a person's life. It is displayed on both the Details tab and the About tab. The About tab displays a computer-generated life history, but it can be replaced with the user-created life history from the Details tab.

When a person has an alert note, Family Tree displays a message beneath the colored banner on the person page: "Important research has been done on this person: Please read these alert notes before making changes."

As our nation turns more attention to addressing its long history of systemic racism, the National Association of Social Workers acknowledges that our profession has not always lived up to its mission of pursuing social justice for all. We apologize for supporting policies and activities that harm people of color and we will strengthen our efforts to end racism in the social work profession and in society.

While i rely on Notes app on both platforms, the lack of "Save" functionality, supporting file versioning, as well as "Undo history", to allow unintended action, makes it feel like tiptoeing thru a minefield sometimes. Twice, i've written a bunch of text i value, used the 'Speak' contextual menu tab to hear it read back, and the next action (given "Select All" preceded "Speak",) wipes out the text. the "document" still exists in documents list, with timestamp, tho i've yet to discover a way to restore or find an earlier file version. A related question: if the same account is linked to the data via iCloud under MacOS, is there more facility to get to previous versions, given the file system is easily navigated and tools like Terminal enable grep and other commands that aid in such forensic activities, or do incremental versions of the file, as it changed over time, resident only on the iOS device the file was authored and edited on? ff782bc1db
