Hello! I have a problem connecting the hi q mp3 recorder app on the android platform with my dropbox account. When I try to login in this app I get the following message: failet to get dropbox user info. Please try again later. Of course, before writing this post here, I reinstalled the app and removed it from my account on dropbox.com but unfortunately it didn't help, I still get this message and I am unable to log in to this app to be able to sync my recordings. Please help me to solve this problem as soon as possible.

Our Hi-Q batteries use the Inspired Energy standard contact configuration, so they are interchangeable with products made for this standard, such as the Cantar X3 and Sonosax SX-R4+ recorders. We expect other equipment manufacturers to soon follow.

To use the Easy Hi-Q Recorder you must download and install the program on your system. After the installation, launch the software and connect your laptop or PC by using the USB cable to access the device and run the recording software. If there is any problem with the streaming video recorder please check for the contact information in the box near the top of the screen. The reason I mentioned the Step Voice is because I have scoured the Internet for a decent freeware and those two were found. The 1st is only 300 KB fits your pocket (your diskette :) so I can easily copy the recorder and give others for free to save them from the hassle.

dear billi ... hi chap ... hope you are fit ... well ... safe ... can recommend ... a quiet position curated by jez riley french ... a field recordist ... reviews most current recorders ... mics ... batteries etc ... currently have a zoom h5 ... goes everywhere with me and used with five different mic set ups ... with a usb to mini usb cable powered by an anker power bank it runs for hours ... often left outside as a drop rig for night recordings ... you can edit recordings and it has xlr and mini-jack inputs ... the display is rather lumpy ... if displays can be lumpy ... gain is increased by knobs rather than push button ... which is liked ... also any machine you do get make sure it has a pre-roll facility ... the zooms is 2 seconds ... also needed is a good wind jammer ... and a mini-tripod or monkey grip to isolate the recorder from you ... the two mics provided should get you started ... it has been in production a long time ... getting a zoom h4n pro black next week ... seems really positive with recent updates ... been recording since the last century ... and have a mixpre3 ... zoom f6 ... oylmpus ls 12 ... tend to use lavalier mics with xlr connections ... go to set up is using a parabolic ... then sass ... do enjoy ... cheers ... big love ... david m ...

The Astell & Kern has up to 32bit and 384Khz sampling freq.but only 4 hours running time on Polymer battery.. 1400USD is a stiff prize tag..But nice looking :) You get the same within a Zoom F6 or a Mixpre3 II for ab. half the prize. -information-ak-recorder

Tascam Portacapture X8 Multi-Track Recorder seems to be the best option today if you like the form-factor of H5, H4n and a likes. For bird-recordings I would not consider a brand new recorder in 2022 not having the possibility for 32-bit float files, gone through hours of old files (2019) from H5 and F4 from the Arctic (Svalbard) that I must dump due to destroyed files, they would all be OK if I had 32-bit float at that time (or been a better recorder?? :) )3.5 mm Plug-in-power 4x XLR-inputs and seems to be a nice power-consumption 7.5W with use of Powerbank/PC for long operation time.

Hi again Ulf,That sounds like very special needs and configurations, so the A & K will do I guess. What are the ordinary Bat recorders in sense of getting decent recordings of these chaps? Here up North close to 70N we only have one species so not much to listen for..Happy recordings in 2022! Stein

.. i can handle an id here well when i have to use headspeakers .. couse of low loudness .. and i can also handle well ... my recording with ground-noise of e.g. these cheap recorders --- ... not allways ... but most times ff782bc1db
