Do you have a polar bear lover? You can easily put this sensory bin together with whatever craft supplies you have in your home right now. This is a fun way for them to play with their hands and let their imagination take over, too.

Sensory bins are fun and will actually provide hours of play for the kids. You can start out with a few simple toys added in or you can make it to that the kids get to pick and choose what they want to put into the sensory bin as well.

Grab your favorite polar bear books to discover how amazing these creatures really are. Below are some of our favorite books about polar bears that the kids are sure to love. There are some really lovely pictures that make great visuals, too.

You may already have these supplies in your craft cupboard already. I have used snowflake ornaments with much success as well. As you can see from the image below, I used a lot of white and blue, and silver for this sensory bin because those are the colors that remind me of winter.

Polar bears stay on top of the ice to search for food. Their favorite prey seals hunt under the water. But mama seals have to hide their babies underneath the snow and polar bears are experts at sniffing them out.

On each page I include a few ideas of the sensory resources I plan to use with that section. These are easy to add to or adapt depending on what you have to hand. I did buy a couple of resources for this. The approximate cost was 5 including an umbrella that will stay in the story bag. The big blue storytelling umbrella is used for the Blue Abyss sensory story as well.

Welcome to the Hey Bear Sensory Halloween Party, a spooktastic video, with traditional and global Halloween characters and references. We love Halloween, and we hope you enjoy our sensory interpretation!

A polar bear's sense of smell is acute, and it is the most important sense for detecting prey on land. A polar bear can most likely smell a seal from more than 1 km (0.6 mi.) away and 1 m (3 ft.) under the snow.

I have had rainbow counting bear discovery bottles in my head for over a year now, and seeing them in person was even more amazing than I had imagined. In fact, I planned to make just one. After the kids and I fell in love with it though, we decided to make two more!

Simply put in some hair gel then push a counting bear down where you want it. I used a plastic knife to help position it. For more detailed instructions about positioning objects in a discovery bottle with hair gel, you can read through my Suspended Ocean Creature Discovery Bottle.

The slow falling rainbow bear sensory bottle is similar to a calm down jar. We used the medium sized bears in these, but you could use any size! Keep in mind that you need a 500ml or 16.9 oz VOSS bottle or another wide lid container to fit the bears in!

Two patients with temporal lobe epilepsy experienced ictal fear and manifested interictal fear-related behavior. It is suggested that these cases lend support to Bear's sensory-limbic hyperconnection hypothesis, and that the behavioral changes observed in these patients are consistent with the predictions of that hypothesis.

In conjunction with the WVU Association for the Education of Young Children and the Friends Gift Shop at WVU Hospitals, the project will donate 52 musical teddy bears to Mapleshire Nursing and Rehab Center residents on Monday, Nov. 21.

Fish remains from the Wijde Bay Series of the Wijdefjorden area include (1) pteraspids, not previously recorded from so high an horizon, which appear to bear sensory canals upon the exterior surface of the ventral disc; (2) an Asterolepis, and (3) rhizodontid scales, resembling those of Holoptychius. A very large antiarch from an unknown horizon is also recorded. 17dc91bb1f
