So my little sister recently got a new switch to replace her old one. My husband had transferred her old island onto the new switch but when she goes the the airport, she isn't being given the option to go to work for happy home paradise. Her island has at least 3 stars and KK has visited. Could it be an issue with her account being switch over? Would I have to re buy the dlc?

Happy Home Paradise is a paid DLC package for Animal Crossing: New Horizons. Players must own a copy of the base game on Nintendo Switch to play this DLC. The Happy Home Paradise DLC has players working as a resort developer to design the perfect vacation homes. Players will fly to "work" via the Dodo Airlines, where they will connect with Lottie's Paradise Planning. From there, you will meet with clients and work together to coordinate dream vacation homes from the inside out.

Now's a great time to get away to your personal island paradise. With additional free content and an extensive DLC package, players can truly explore new territory, sip a cup o' joe with residents, and design an ideal home.

Hi. In case of multiple accounts with two consoles under family membership, is one account entitled to a different island to work on in happy home paradise? Or will it be a continuing job/work or a shared island like the one in new horizon where different users get to share one island only? Your answer would greatly help.

The Happy Home Paradise DLC gives Animal Crossing: New Horizons players the opportunity to work as a vacation home designer on a brand new set of islands. To begin, players will need to purchase and download the Animal Crossing New Horizons DLC either individually or with the Nintendo Online Subscription + Expansion Pack. Once players have access to the DLC, they can get started working at the resort.

Happy Home Paradise expands the world of Animal Crossing: New Horizons by adding in a vacation home planning component. When you purchase the DLC, you (and family connected in your Switch Online account) are able to join Lottie's Paradise Planning Team. Once on the job, you travel to resort islands that feature many different landscapes and seasons. There you will be put to work by Lottie, working with clients to help them make their visions come to life. After an adorable meeting, you can start the actual design process with access to anything and everything ACNH has to offer.

From the gameplay perspective it makes the design process more enjoyable, removing the obstacles to creativity and the tedium of searching for items missing from your catalogue. With skills transferring from your work life to your home island life, Paradise adds a depth and variety to ACNH, making it the ideal getaway for users of all ages. From this fan's point of view, Happy Home Paradise is a must have for any fan of Animal Crossing. Download it today and head home to paradise.

Friday morning, I woke up feeling productive. I went to work, decided to build my favorite resident a vacation home, and they asked me for a specific aesthetic and some furniture they would love in their house. It took me a few hours, but the finished design combined with their smile made it all worth it. It was rewarding and relaxing – probably because I was not actually designing someone’s vacation home in real life, but Animal Crossing: New Horizons’ Happy Home Paradise DLC allowed me to live out a life where I spent my time on a tropical paradise helping people build the vacation homes of their dreams.

While it is a similarly slow burn to unlock all of the facilities, yet this method of unlocking feels equally rewarding as you can physically see the growth Paradise Planning and the archipelago experience the more you design vacation homes. You start off at Paradise Planning as a small, unknown business that has a few stragglers coming by to vacation, and it’s fun to work your way up into a place that everyone wants to visit. It’s very much reminiscent of working hard to build my island up to 5-Stars in the base game. Though I wish you had the choice of where you placed facilities or the order in which you unlock them – I find it much more practical to open up a hospital or a cafe before the school, which is the first facility that you unlock.

While Happy Home Paradise villagers won't be able to settle down in New Horizons, there are still plenty of things you can do to bring some slices of paradise back home. The "Poki" currency that you earn with the Paradise Planning team can be used to buy new items and furnishings for decorating homes on your main island. New building skills that you learn in the DLC, like adding partitions, can also be used to change up homes on your main island.

Nintendo says new furniture will be unlocked as you play the expansion, and it will be up to you to periodically check in on vacationers whose homes you designed to see if any of the newly-unlocked furniture might be a fit for them. This seems necessary to keep the client happy.

As you design more vacation homes for your clients, facilities like cafes and schools around the Paradise Planning office will open up. Decorate these into inviting locales, choose roles for different characters, then watch your clients spend time together. Why not stop by and check in to see how things are going in paradise?

After fulfilling the requests of their sixth client, players will be tasked with designing their first facility in Happy Home Paradise: a school. Fans will unlock the ability to change the width and length of a room while working on this facility, though they will not be able to alter the size of their rooms back home.

In addition to Lottie and Niko, there's a shy Manatee named Wardell who is in charge of selling furniture and souvenirs at the office. These furniture items switch every day, so it's advised to check them out as part of your day-to-day routine. Along with furniture, you can also purchase souvenir chocolates. These chocolates, while having the ability to be eaten for one point of energy, are much better off being used as gifts for villagers on your home island. If you gift a villager the chocolates, you'll have the option to invite them to the paradise islands and design their dream homes as well! Another thing to note is that you don't purchase these items with bells, but rather with a new currency called Poki, which you will earn by completing homes for your clients.

As an Encinitas native, this sleepy surf town that hangs above the pacific ocean has my heart. As a remote worker, I could choose to live and work anywhere (within reason), and most would not choose to stay in their hometown given that opportunity. However, to me, Encinitas is a vibrant hub for creatives, environmental activists, and outdoor enthusiasts. Every day I spend here, I feel the inspiration and drive to create something new. This tight-knit community revolves around creative expression and connection with others and the outdoors. In my beach town, any day encompasses a blend of simple-living, meaningful work, and relationships with our community. All of these reasons, and many, many more, make me so happy to call Encinitas my home base. 2351a5e196
