I wanted to include Castlevania II Redaction, and initially I was going to bother to separate it since it's just one rom. But after coming across a collection of hacked NES/SNES/Genesis roms, I'm considering organizing it somehow.

When I tried creating a custom Platform, Launch Box warned me that it was inadvisable (I did this on a test copy of my build so that I didn't have to worry about messing anything up). For now, it seems like the best option is to add the hacked roms as normal, but then adding that custom field. That said, I'd like a way to organize them a bit more (like using a separate folder so they're not mixed in). I'm open to suggestions.

Yup, added the relevant emulators to the Platform when I did a test run on a NES rom hacks platform. Also did that when I added "Nintendo Famicom" as a separate platform to my collection (still wasn't sure why that's not a default platform, but I don't know a whole lot about the Famicom vs. the Famicom Disk System (aside from the obvious). I'll probably still add "Hack" to the Custom Fields to make a playlist with all hacked roms, just for convenience sake.

A notable hacked arcade game was Street Fighter II: Rainbow Edition, which featured increased game speed and new special moves. The success of this game prompted Capcom to release Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting as an official response.

Rom Hack developers utilizes these roms to create their very own Pokemon games with innovative storylines, new regions, improved visual graphics, expanded move sets, additional Pokemon, extra evolutions, tougher AI opponents and much more.

And one of the good things for those that played the original to death is that the hacked version of the game feels so much different, to the point where it has more of a Super Mario Galaxy vibe to it.

Explorers of Memories is a romhack where the protagonist never lost their memories, and this effects the story in many ways causing events to never happen or making events happen earlier than they should.However, this is not a retelling of the original story, instead it is a brand-new story with elements of the original.

Chapters 1 up to chapter 12 are currently completed as of this demo.

This patch is for US versions of the game and works with Xenophobia and Clean roms.

Released in 2022, Pokemon Blaze Black 2 & Volt White 2 Redux take the stellar Blaze Black & Volt White roms and modernize them to meet the current standards of the scene.
