Hello again community, I've installed Arch with only i3 and I've tried to chamge the global theme settings using a couple different tutorials but my GTK based apps still looks like windows95 and it's driving me crazy. Is there a way to change global theme settings? I did sudo pacman - S gtk-3.0 and in my .config/gtk-3.0/ I tried to make a file but it didn't work. How is this done. Outside of ranger I also tried using GUI Nemo but it looked terrible like windows 95 again lol same with librewolf but I can change it with browser extensions. Mostly I just want pidgin to have a dark theme and I'd be happy. Pidgin has gtk enabled themes but settings aren't working

Yes it is Wayland. It seems Wayland is the source of the problem now (pidgin works with X11). Also Wayland seems to have been causing Fedora to hang when I switch users. I have switched back to X11 and everything is fine now. Thanks all.

GtkBuilder allows user interfaces to be designed without writing code. The interface is described in an Extensible Markup Language (XML) file, which is then loaded at runtime and the objects created automatically. The Glade Interface Designer allows creation of the user interface in a what you see is what you get (WYSIWYG) manner. The description of the user interface is independent from the programming language being used. e24fc04721
