Your best bet is to look at the deploy date of your live version, and then go to your dev version and revert it back to that time, assuming the time is within the backup period that you have for your plan.

For the most part these are proprietary and no guarantees they will always work or report what you think they might represent. Even then, I suspect for most software the above are probably a mixture of versions down to the build number, component versions, product marketing versions, suite versions etc.

Of course, I knew this would be the case as it's the same source as displayed in Programs and Features (appwiz.cpl). There is also no broken down separate major, minor, build values for this product which you sometimes get. Likewise, the "Programs" table of osquery is only going to give us the same simple version string. I.e.:

So this will do, but then this only works if the software is running as we're getting the path to the exe from the "processes" table before then using the "file" table to get the version info. I could perhaps go straight to the "file" table but I might be guessing where it is or using lots of IN or OR statements so this is one option.

Then there is the additional concerns regarding modules actually in use? Just because an application has updated and probably updated the 'uninstall' key values with the latest version number; although it perhaps doesn't help here as we have seen, is the new software running or has it been deferred to reboot or the requires the process to restart?

The Zoom Outlook plugin, for example, loads at least 6 modules in Outlook.exe on my computer as of now. If I need to be sure that Outlook is running with the latest version of say ZoomOutlookPlugin.DLL, how might I be able to do that? Maybe the following could answer that:

Maybe this sort of brain dump is helpful for someone, it probably raises more questions than answers but it shows how even a simple question about the version of software can get very nuanced and having a tool that's flexible may help. Maybe in the future Zoom will update the DisplayVersion registry key to better reflect the installed version.

Today I was informed by @pshanubhog that there now is an article available in the live community about the recommended/preferred software versions by PaloAlto Networks support. The article contains the preferred versions by support for PAN-OS, User-ID Agent, TS-Agent and GlobalProtect. So fo all who did not know about this article (including me), you can find it here:

Keep in mind that this recommendation is a general one and does not take into account specific customer configurations, so testing the releases in your environments is still recommended prior to installing it in production.

Hi, I noted that retool apps with the query param _releaseVersion=latest ignores the current live version of the retool app and goes straight to the latest version even if it is a draft version, is this the expected behavior of this query param?

If this is the expected behavior, I think it should be changed to redirect to the latest live version (like _releaseVersion=live or with no _releaseVersion query param), because for example in the company I work with: we released a version of a retool app with a breaking change as a draft release so we can test in staging without affecting production, however we saw that some users had the _releaseVersion=latest in the URL of their retool apps, so we have to annoyingly ask every user using this query param to stop using it, I think this is problematic because we would have to constantly remind everybody about this behavior making our lives as devs harder since we can't test in non production environments without affecting prod.

Yes, this is the expected behavior. When you use releases, adding ?_releaseVersion=latest to the url will show the app as it is currently being edited - the current working version. This is helpful for testing, but likely not ideal for end users (more info in our docs).

If you have no _releaseVersion url param, an invalid url param, or just ?_releaseVersion=, the app will default to the "live" version of the app (in other words, the published version out of all of your releases). If you specify a valid version of the app in your url params, it'll show that specific version # (for example, ?_releaseVersion=2.0.0)

For more in depth requirements, we recommend upgrading to Enterprise, so that you get access to source control. On Enterprise plans, you have the option to create multiple instances so, as an example, you could have staging, dev, and prod instances.

sir, I want to know what if we keep these sketches even the related model has been deleted. may it affect the render performance, i was quite worry about it sometime. would it be better to delete them too?

I have been using Shapr3D for years and happy with it. But if parametric modelling is mandatory, I will go back to Fusion when my subscription expires. I can live with presence of many features, that I do not use, but I am not going to change the whole way I work.

So they all have a live option - Correct ? The feature i really want is just to right click and create a text document or a folder on the desktop as well as a standard layout - everything on the left side out of site unless i click menu or add to the panel at the bottom, throw in some useful features-packages that Debian don`t have.

I tried that already but did end up at Debian.

Deb is OK but can be a bit unstable and is bloated with games etc. that i dont need. Ubuntu ruined my last system so if it dont have a live test version i wont even try it, but want the specific 2 features i mentioned along with being fully functional specifically with CAPTCHA, some Linux distros wont work with the image ones like Ebay`s CAPTCHA. I just tried MX and it would not work with it, the images would not display so it could not be completed so no access to ebay.

The only way I can explain your situation is that you downloaded the DVD version with lots of preinstalled software. However, normal Debian has only the most necessary stuff. It does not have any extras. It does not even have LibreOffice, etc, not to mention games or anything like that.

Sometimes I like the live version of a song better than the studio recording, or vice versa. Sometimes I love a song when it's done by one artist but I really don't like another artists version of the same exact song.

I don't want to thumbs down the song because I enjoy it when it's the version that I actually like and I don't want pandora to think that I don't like that song, when really, I just don't like that version...

I have been a pro "paid" user for a long time and I wanted to share my opinion. I hate (strong word) re-edited versions of songs. I would rather not hear the song at all if it is not the original. Many feel this way. Why can you not offer a feature to exclude re-edited versions and maybe live versions?

Just re-released but only if re-recorded by only a portion of original members. In other words, songs that were re-done for streaming and not the original recordings. I don't care about censoring one way or the other. Thanks for replying.

I'd recommend visiting our Feature Request board with this suggestion. You can either post a new message for this idea or expand on the current idea for live version here: Exclude Live Performance Versions of Songs

Is there an option to disable cover songs? For example, I like Garth Brooks and would like to hear his songs, but not his songs being played/covered by "Books Jefferson"... I feel like if I click the thumbs down for Brooks Jefferson, it will also think I dont like Garth Brooks songs, since they are very similar...

This remaster album is AWFUL. Someone added a ton of reverb to it for reasons I cannot fathom. It is horrible to listen to and literally hurts my brain. I don't want to thumbs down it because a) I'd have to thumbs down every single track played from this album individually and b) I like these songs, just not this AWFUL remastered version. I'm pretty sure if I thumbs down them, it will take all of these songs off of my station, not just the ones from this album, since they are all the same songs, just with different audio mixing.

But then if you thumbs down two live versions of the same artist you will stop hearing the artist completely. This could create a problem if you still like the artist but can't stand live versions like me.

Additionally, I do see you are upgraded to Pandora Premium - with this level of subscription you can always create your own customized playlists where you can pick and choose what songs you want to hear in your listening session. Going this route will allow you only select studio versions of tracks, and leave out the live versions you don't actually want to hear.

I don't want to make my own playlist that's too much work and boring since you now know every song that will play. Even though most of your stations pretty much end up being like a playlist as they repeat the same songs over and over.

Well there were no drop down menus or sub category for what I am bringing to the table. The issue is I just upgraded after many years on the free lite plan to the 99,00 per yr cam plus version. I particularly thought how great it would be to live view my 11 various Wyze cams on my powerful Windows 11 desktop PC. Although I could do that on Blueticks easily anytime and it worked always 100%.

The heavier software cam plus also slows or freezes even the cam on my Galaxy S23 Ultra phone on all cams off and on as well. So it appears that Wyze ISP servers or lack of are the issue unless anyone can add to this otherwise please. Here is the Wyze link to live stream your cams if you are not aware of what I am talking about here: Live stream - Wyze 152ee80cbc
