I first got to know about Keychron K2 a few years ago and at that time the keyboard was not available officially in India. It had to be imported from the US and therefore was very costly. I just found out a month ago that Keychron K2 was being sold in India officially. At that point in time, there were no stocks.

After waiting for almost 3 and a half weeks, when the stocks finally came, I was the first to preorder on the 21st of August! Keychron informed that the keyboards will start shipping on the 30th of August, but to my surprise I received the tracking link on 26th of August and my keyboard was delivered on the 30th. Overall very satisfied with Keychron for shipping my order early whereas Fedex could do better with the actual shipping speed.

Now coming to the actual keyboard, I would say that the wait was worth it. After using the keyboard for a day, I can say that this is a great keyboard with good key travel and satisfying click sound. The white backlight and its effects are good. Wireless connectivity is such a simple and life changing feature. And last but not the least, support for Mac layout. This is the only mechanical keyboard as far as I know that has the Mac functions inbuilt by default on the function row. Ofcourse you can use it with windows just by changing a slider.

Overall I would say go for it. You will never find a mechanical keyboard that is built as well as this, with all the features that it offers, and at the price that this keyboard retails for. A must buy if you are into mechanical keyboards and work on the Mac.

I was a bit worried about the delivery of this product due to Xpressbees delaying the delivery but in the end it turned out to be a temporary delay due to Covid restrictions. Thanks to Keychron support team again for timely help in getting this delivered sooner!

Got this keyboard in July 2021. Have been using it since then. Excellent quality for sure. Perfect keyboard for almost anyone. Especially typists, programmers and gamer.

Looking at getting an OB-6. Place I use can do the keys for $2700 and the desktop for 2100 no tax. Leaning toward the module, but the keyboard version is so sexy. Who has either and why did you pick that one?

Is there a way to disable alt+s hotkey in new Evernote? This overwrites my system keyboard and I can't use one of the letters in my native language with Evernote running. Which means I'll have to stop using the app if there's no fix :(

The ALT + S is causing problems in many applications. Because this cannot be disabled, I am abandoning Evernote for Microsoft OneNote. The keyboard shortcut simply interferes with too many applications. If you decide to one day put an option that says "Disable Keyboard Shortcuts", maybe I would return to using the product at that time. Until then, I am prevented from using Evernote on Windows.

The latest version of Evernote has global keyboard shortcuts that conflict with other tools I use but there is currently no option to disable them. For example I use VSCode and I have the keybinding for "Save All" set to "ctrl+alt+s" but now this doesn't work and instead triggers the Evernote screenshot capture functionality. Since I don't use Evernote for capturing screenshots and I'd prefer not to change my VSCode keybindings I would like the ability to disable the screenshot capture shortcut and other global shortcuts.

WTF? Still no way to disable keyboard shortcuts that hijack and override existing global shortcuts? I have been suffering for months and have resorted to keeping Evernote closed at all times but I am ready to bail all together.

When using any feature that needs keyboard input or simply pressing enter / escape, nothing happens and the Apple sound for an invalid key stroke is triggered. In order to fix, one must remove the app and reinstall. Shortly after reinstalling, the problem occurs again.

The keyboard works fine in Shapr3D when Safari is not turned on. If I open Safari while work on Shapr3D, or turn on Shapr3D from Safari, or in any case, the keyboard does not work.

If you have both Shapr3D and Safari turned on, and then quit Safari from that state, the keyboard will not work in Shapr3D. If you quit Shapr3D from that state and restart it, the keyboard will not work. After rebooting, only Shapr3D should work.

So this new keyboard is screwing me up pretty good. The return key takes up more space and I'm constantly hitting it with my thumb instead of pressing space bar. Screws me up every so often. I heard you can download alternate keyboards but I'm really not interested in all that flashy stuff I see in the app store. Anyone know a standard keyboard layout I can download to change my keyboard back to version 9 layout?

Thanks for getting back to me. I read through your link and it seems like I'll have to go with a third party keyboard. I'm wondering if anyone knows of a third party keyboard that has a similar layout to version 9 when the return key wasn't in the same place as the space bar.

Suffering the same problem as you. And I mean suffering a lot. one line per word, absolutely impossible. Changed my way of wrting good and long messages on WhatsApp. Some people are suggestinh a third party keyboard called Gboard from Google. I just installed. Looks ok. Still working on it. I'll let you know. I am from Sao Paulo, Brazil!!

I am temted to look for the keyboard version as wel but I dont have a lot of space in the studio room and I would prefer to buy a good midi controller for ableton live, like the novation SL MK3 with 61 keys, which can also be a good standalone solution with the TI2 desktop, having a 8 channel sequencer built in and Virus TI template to control the TI(2).

The Virus keyboards are among the best synth keyboards you will find, so if you decide to go the keyboard version route it's unlikely that you'll regret it. The Virus doesn't have a sequencer but it can do keyboard split at least. If size is of paramount concern for you and you don't need immediate access to the Virus front panel then you may prefer to use a master keyboard.

I don't know about the Apple keyboards, but I have a Logitech MX Keys keyboard paired. Using either Bluetooth to pair it to the device, or the USB receiver (through a dock), the Numpad does not work. Even the Enter key on the Numpad doesn't work as an Enter key should, instead it wipes out a highlighted URL or something instead... kinda strange.

I hope this might help answer a few questions for some users. I have tried both an Apple Wireless Magic Keyboard A1314 and an Apple Wired Extended Keyboard A1243 (both UK layout). Both keyboards showed an tracked image in Workrooms and both keyboards worked. However, the extended keyboard only actually shows the as the compact keyboard so none of the function keys show or work and none of the extended section of the keyboard show or work either. With the differences in the bottom row of the keyboards having a slightly different layout (due to the cursors being separated on the extended version) it could lead to a little confusion if users aren't prepared for it. I have also noticed that the both keyboards actually display as the Magic Keyboard Version 2 layout (slightly different cursor arrangement to the version 1 keyboards I own) but it's close enough that for basic use, it makes very little difference. 2351a5e196
