Gangstar Vegas (originally known as Gangstar Vegas: City of Sin and currently known as Gangstar Vegas: World of Crime) is an open-world action-adventure video game developed by Gameloft Montral and published by Gameloft. It is the sixth (seventh counting Gangstar City) installment in the Gangstar series, the fourth to be three-dimensional (3D), and the sixth to be released for Android and iOS. It was globally released on June 7, 2013. As the name implies, the game is set in Las Vegas.

At least twice a month, Gameloft launches a Street Cred Event. In these events, you have to play series of side-missions to complete three phases to earn cred keys or find and collect cred in free-roam. You need to use these street creds to spin the roulette to unlock prizes (first spin is free then 150 street cred, then every spin after that will increase the price by 50 street creds, the maximum price is 1200 which grand total of 15000) in order to get the all rewards. The total keys for phase 1 is 2,000 phase 2 is 3,500 and phase 3 is 7,150, which grand total of 12,150, much less than original version.

All 9 landmarks seen today were introduced in the original landmark system, although only 5 of them were ready for capturing when the system first appeared. Gameloft managed to get 2 more of them working during the original stage of Landmark, while Pocket Aces and All-In Technologies were still described as "In construction" and were never conquerable before the system was finally released on all platforms.

Every original landmarks are ranked by "Level", indicating which one of the 3 tiers of unlockable rewards the player has reached. As an example, Marina del Mar with all rewards unlocked will be described as "Pier (Lvl. 3)". To unlock these rewards consisted of cash income, skill buff, ability to purchase certain items in game shop and a very little amount of VIP points, players have to repeatedly finish 5 battle-pass like objectives to gain a maximum of 20 stars for each landmarks owned. Although seemingly not as time-consuming as the current version, relatively hard objectives such as activating drones for certain times are in the list, forcing the player to skip them at the price of 35 diamonds/star.

In Gangstar Vegas you star as a prize fighter who upsets a mob boss and must run for his life, before seeking to get his own back. It's an age-old tale and there's little originality in the way the story played out in Gangstar Vegas. The main character's personality feels a bit wooden and the script is pretty clichd (some of the characters that appear are good fun, though). However, that doesn't mean that Gangstar Vegas isn't fun to play - quite the opposite, in fact.

Gangstar New Orleans is the successor of the game Gangstar Vegas. Unfortunately, it is an entirely different game that frustrated the fans of the original game. It threw away everything that made the original fun. Perhaps, things would have been better if the game was called a spin-off instead of a successor. ff782bc1db
