I am looking for suggestions for a rugged Android tablet to use Reachview 3.

We want to use the Emlids with mor eof our field staff and I am looking to learn from anyone who has experience using any android tablets. Currently I use an Android phone but if I am giving over the system to our field staff a tablet would have a bigger screen and presumably long battery power.

I also have had good results with the Cedar CT8 tablet, similar to the E38 tablet mentioned above.

Bought it as a package from Microsurvey, when they first introduced the Microsurvey FieldGenius Android version. Great form factor versus the usual tiny data collector screen.

Very true, for my needs I needed a more robust and flexible program. It suites my needs. I also have RV3 on it as well and can use either program on it. The tablet and set-up has worked well for me in the filed. I would post a picture if I could of the tablet set-up if I could.

In our tests, we use each tablet over the course of about a week for general tasks such as browsing the web, checking email, watching movies, and listening to music. We also play games, take photos, and edit documents stored in Google Drive.

A good number of most-used apps look great on the Pixel Tablet. One of the biggest issues we have with Android tablets is how apps look on a bigger tablet screen. According to Google, more than 80 apps are optimized for the Pixel Tablet at launch, though most of them are Google apps. Only a few dozen third-party apps are optimized for the tablet, but they are pretty major ones: Disney+, ESPN, Hulu, Lumafusion, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, and WhatsApp all have Android versions that look great on the Pixel Tablet.

Galaxy Tab A8 tablet Question

So I just got a new toy. I am having such a struggle having to manually type in passwords. I have a super complicated password for 1PW so that's a pain in the backside. Then I only have copy and paste functionality which I can live with. The tablet has facial recco only (no fingerprint).

I find the Home screen is great to keep my most used items close at hand. If I need to do some item management I typically do that from the Items tab (the sidebar on a tablet). Opening sections in the Items tab allows you to see item lists grouped by Vault, Category, Tags and more. The item lists can be sorted a few different ways as well. Both the Item tab and Home Screen can also be customized to help prioritize the sections that are most useful for you.

Tablet. Well...bummer. I use that tablet for isolated periods whether it's to show a client a demonstration or I use it while I'm watching TV sitting on the couch When I'm done I shut it off. I still have a good password but I've modified it so it's not such a hassle using the Android keyboard that's not the same as a PC keyboard. I was surprised to find out that a brand new Samsung tablet isn't good enough with biometrics that's too bad.

Amazon has come a long way from the first Kindle Fire tablet. The Amazon Fire HD 10 is Amazon's biggest tablet with a 10-inch screen size and powerful speakers. Just like its smaller 8-inch sibling, the Fire HD 8, the tablet is packed with benefits for Prime subscribers making it easy for members to stream and download movies, TV shows and games. Amazon's Fire tablets don't use a pure version of Android, but instead Amazon's Android-based Fire operating system, which pulls apps from the Amazon App Store. You can still get apps from Google Play, but you'll have to install the store yourself -- meaning gaming enthusiasts have access to all of their favorite mobile games for an excellent gaming tablet experience. Also, this is probably the closest thing we have to a budget tablet on this best Android tablet list. This model typically retails for around $150.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Plus tablet might be in the middle of the Tab S8 lineup but it is our top pick. The 12.4-inch AMOLED display is bright with excellent color. It's a great size for entertainment and gaming, while big enough for light productivity tasks and still small enough for travel. Updates to Samsung's DeX software even makes the Tab S8 a possible laptop substitute, letting you connect to a mouse and even an external display. A keyboard cover isn't included but one of Samsung's fantastic S Pens is, so you can use the big screen for note-taking and content creation right out of the box.

Despite its more attainable price compared to some other tablets, the Galaxy Tab S7 FE retains an upscale feel. The S7 FE is the same size as the Plus, with a 1.3-pound aluminum body and slim bezels around its 12.4-inch display that has a 2,560x1,600-pixel resolution. Samsung carefully trimmed the features of the Plus, such as going from four stereo speakers to two and switching from an AMOLED display to an LCD screen. The result is a big-screen Android tablet that still performs well and has a premium look and feel for significantly less money. It's currently being sold on Amazon for $400.

The Lenovo Smart Tab P10 combines a tablet and a smart display into one 10-inch device. This Lenovo tablet comes with Android Oreo, front and rear cameras, fingerprint scanner and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor. When you set it on the dock, the Lenovo Tab becomes a smart display a lot like the Amazon Echo Show.

I have 20 android tablets/samrtphones, some Samsung and some Xiaomi, configured with Meraki MDM kiosk mode. Occasionally, the tablets' brightness setting will automatically fall to its lowest setting by itself (kiosk mode prevents users from changing brightness). This requires IT staff to manually disable kiosk mode to increase the brightness on each tablet. Sometimes, when increasing the brightness, the slider will again fall to its lowest setting immediately. This stops temporarily if you enter display settings and turn the Eye Comfort Shield on and off. Adaptive brightness is disabled, eye comfort shield is disabled, and battery saver is disabled. Has anyone else experienced this kind of issue?

I erased one of my devices yesterday and Systems Manager 5.8.7 was installed when I re-enrolled. So far I haven't had issues with the tablet staying dim. Any one know of a way to force the update of System Manager?

Good afternoon are evening! I have a desire to buy an Android tablet for sculpting. Before that I tried a regular Ipad of the 7th generation, but the limitations of 3 gigabytes of RAM memory upset me. I have several questions regarding both the program itself and the hardware and the tablets themselves, who knows, please give an answer.

Are there any differences between the Nomad Sculpt version from Android and IOS? Maybe some of the nuances or features of the platform. For example, IOS is more optimized, or in android these same 6 gigs do not mean anything for software, etc. Or is it possible that support will stop in the future and everything will be transferred to IOS?

Apple Pencil vs Stylus for Android tablets. almost all of them are quite weak in comparison with Apple Pencil, as well as in drawing clean straight lines, waviness, which mainly affects sketching and drawing in general. Can this somehow affect the accuracy of the sculpting? I also read that it is bad on the android that it reads the palm and the stylus at the same time. ff782bc1db
