At Yerkes Wedding Salon, we believe that everyone should have an affordable alternative to a large wedding and still enjoy a traditional marriage ceremony. You may invite up to 20 guests (20 guests total). In addition, you may each have up to 2 attendants for the bride and 2 attendants for the groom.

Yerkes Wedding Salon of East Lansdowne, Pennsylvania, is a wedding chapel that has provided affordable wedding ceremonies since 1914. Our fee to be married is just $160.00. All that is required is a Pennsylvania marriage license to be presented on the day of your wedding.

The Wedding Salons offer elegant settings for you to commit to the one you love. Your experience begins with a personal planner to assist with all the details, even post-ceremony congratulations. Experience the elegance of an intimate affair while celebrating your love in a beautiful setting. Available to weddings taking place December 1st through February 29, 2024. Available to new bookings only. Not applicable to existing reservations.

The Wedding Salon offers a wonderful wedding experience 7 days a week. There is an additional cost to host your ceremony on weekends (Friday through Sunday) or after hours on weekdays. Please contact a Wedding Manager for more information.

The Wedding Salons at Wynn has three beautiful venues for wedding ceremonies. The elegant Lilac Salon holds up to 60 guests. The sophisticated Lavender Salon holds up to 120 guests. The stunning, outdoor Primrose Courtyard can hold up to 100 guests, and is an additional $2000 per hour in addition to your wedding package. For parties of 120 guests or more, we can host ceremonies in one of our ballroom spaces or ballroom patios, subject to availability.

The Wedding Salon does offer special pricing on standard rooms to wedding couples getting married at Wynn and their guests that wish to stay on property. Please inquire with a Wedding Manager for more information.

The event also displayed some gorgeous inspiration for reception table designs, was giving makeovers for bridal beauty ideas and set up a few booths dedicated to stationary and wedding invites. My two favorites were Christa Alexandra Designs (she operates out of VT, which I love!) and Postable, which does all the hard work of sending wedding invites for you.

The event was a bit crowded, with crazy brides-to-be running all over the place and not being aware of everyone around them, but it was fun. It definitely gave me some inspiration for my own upcoming wedding (fall of 2016!)

The Consultation {Preview Run}

A one and a half hour appointment set up in advance of the wedding day where you meet the artist(s) who will be working with you, discuss your preferences, and come up with the perfect look for your special day. Held in our Peterborough studio, this is your first opportunity to experience the services we offer. Schedule your preview within 2 months of your wedding for best results.

Bridal Hair

Our stylists will arrive equipped with all the tools necessary to provide you and your bridal party with stunning hair designs. Our years of experience specializing in bridal hair allow us to work with each individual to come up with the best style suited for them and your wedding style. Whether we come to your wedding venue or you rent our beautiful studio, we will coordinate everything to make your day as relaxing as possible.

Contracts & Retainers: A signed contract & retainer is required to secure your wedding date. A wedding date will not be held for anyone without a signed contract and retainer for services. The required retainer fee is 50% of the total contract balance. The retainer is non-refundable and non-transferable. The retainer will be deducted from the total due.

I was very happy with the salon. Both of the salons are beautiful, and other than the bouquets and flowers at the front, we just had rose petals on the aisle. The Primrose Garden is also beautiful, but by choosing the indoor location- we didn't have to worry about the weather.

As for the photographers, we were told at the time that no outside photographers were permitted. I remember asking if we paid a fee if we could use someone else, and we were told no. So- it sounds like they changed their policy, which is good. I was not thrilled with my Cashman photos- some of them were fine, but many of them did not turn out the way I had hoped (our post-wedding champagne toast photos have a huge "exit" sign in them over our heads; the photographer wasn't familiar with the hotel- i.e. she didn't know about the flower covered carousel and balloon at the entrance; limited number of poses; lighting issues, etc.). I do have some photos that I liked, and we did have a photo tour that night with a separate photographer that turned out well. However, if you have the extra money and are permitted to have the outside photographer, you may want to consider it.

After going back multiple times for my fittings and then taking the dress home I continued to be very pleased with this boutique. The girls are all so kind and very understanding. When you are going through the wedding planning process it can be stressful and knowing I could rely on and trust the girls here made the process that much smoother. They made it fun! I felt like a million dollars(or more) on my wedding day. Thank you so much for helping make that happen!

I had the best experience at Cameo Bridal finding my perfect wedding dress! Gina and Cameo Staff are very friendly and professional. The boutique was clean, bright and had a lot of different options of dresses. Before arriving for my appointment, Gina had pre-picked a few wedding dresses for me to try on (we discussed designs and ideas over a email prior to my arrival). The first dress I tried on was everything I could have dreamed of. I said yes to my dress in less than 30 minutes. I highly recommend Cameo Bridal!

Cameo Bridal is amazing!! I had a fantastic time shopping there, Gina was incredible, so helpful and friendly and welcoming. She was the one who pulled my dream dress off the rack for me to try on, not me, my MOHs, or my mom. She knew exactly what I was looking for based on a very vague description from me. She was full of compliments and the best hype person I could have asked for!

When the dress came in, Cameo did my alterations as well. Gina (lucky me, I got her again!) hemmed it all, took in the sides, designed the bustle, all while carrying on a friendly conversation. The seamstress (unfortunately did not catch the name) did an incredible job completing the alterations, and in a very short time period too! I got my dress back clean and beautiful and fitting perfectly. After I tried it on at home, I realized the bustle was a tad too long and that I would end up stepping on it for the dance moves we had planned for the first dance. I took it back to Cameo to see what they could do, and they raised the bustle easily, and at no additional charge! They really are wonderful.

Day of my wedding, I felt gorgeous. I got MANY comments on how stunning my dress was and how it was just perfect for me. So thank you to Gina for finding my perfect dress, and thank you to all of Cameo for such a wonderful experience throughout the wedding planning process and making the dress part of everything so easy and effortless.
