I'm fairly new to the game and the community. I utilized the search before posing this question but didn't find a whole lot of info. I'm around level 8. I've enjoyed time grinding and creating a "home base" and having fun with all that. I currently play the iOS version on my iPad Pro. So far, so good. I did see some people saying that it looks as if 505 has stopped supporting the mobile version. Does that mean its soon to be obsolete? No more updates or special events? If so, I'd rather abandon ship now and put my time and effort in the version for either Switch or PS4. Any help, info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Let me explain.

In Portal Knights, you play as a Savior to Re-Build all the Portal gate that connect to other islands. There are 48 Islands by now. To rebuild the portal gate, you need some Portal cubes that you have to craft from some Portal shards. There are 5 different kinds of Portal cubes: Blue, Yellow, Green, Red and Pink.

Blue Portal cube is a starter Portal cubes during beginning of story and before 1st Boss, crafted from 2 Blue Portal Shards that you can get from either foes or Stone blocks.

Yellow Portal cube is the 2nd Portal cube before 1st Boss until World 2, crafted from 3 Yellow Portal shards, can be obtained from foes or Coal blocks.

Green Portal cube is the 3rd Portal cube before 2nd Boss until the whole of World 3, crafted from 4 Green Portal Shards, can be obtained from foes or blocks.

Red Portal cube is the 4th, Additional Portal cubes. There are a few Portal gates that need Red Portal cubes. Usually the gates are for Special events. To create Red Portal cube, you need 5 Red Portal shards, can be ovtained from foes only.

Pink Portal cube is a Mission based portal cubes. It only can be obtained from Temple of Kolemis mission or Chinese theme island duribg the Event. You don't need to collect Pink Portal shards because all foes in Chinese themed island will drop a Pink Portal cube instead of Portal shards. For Kolemis Temple mission, you need to Finish all 3 Trials and you will get 6 Pink Portal cubes as the Reward to discover Reward Island.

The islands that you discover have so many diversity. From Spring theme, Black forest, Tropical island, Beach theme, Autumn garden, Winter forest, Mystical mushroom island, Crystal island, even Space themed !

Once you discover certain island, you can go back to previous island easily by Click the island that you want to visit and choose Travel. It will instantly Teleport you to destination island.

There are ONLY 3 Bosses that guard at the end of World. 1st Boss is Ancient Worm, 2nd is Dragon Queen , 3rd (The Final Boss) is Hollow King.
