On my i-phone 11 I changed my wallpaper and clock color, yet when I press "Done" the wallpaper stays the same, but the clock changes color where I can barely see it. Doesn't matter that I change it to black, once I select done, it changes to something almost invisible.

A day or two ago, my Moto G6 started showing an analog clock on the lock screen. There used to be a digital one. I am not seeing any corresponding settings under Display or Security/Lock screen. Not sure how this happened.

hi All,

After installing the latest firmware upgrade FP4.SP21.B.048.20230215 a very large Digital Clock appeared in the Lockscreen. how/where can I change or even remove this clock?

thanks, Iwan

Thanks a lot Yvonne, for moving my question and pointing out the options. (as in none)

will rest my search for removing the hidious clock.

However, as soon as there are notifications from other apps in the lockscreen, the large clock/time numbers disappear, and reappear as soon as the notifications are swiped away.

very strange update/feature. seems like some kind of joke/weddenschap from the developersĀ

kind regards

Iwan

Fliqlo for Mac/Windows is a clock screensaver that allows you to make your desktop/laptop device screen look like a flip clock. It displays the time with flip animation in large white numerals against a black background. Thanks to its visibility, you can check the time even from a distance.

Fliqlo for iOS/iPadOS is a clock app that allows you to make your mobile device screen look like a flip clock. It displays the time with flip animation in large white numerals against a black background. Thanks to its visibility, you can check the time even from a distance.

Fliqlo is often shared as an image of home office decor rather than its screenshot, which is a significant feature not found in other software. The following photos are from the Pinterest board. You can also see the other photos with hashtag #fliqlo on Instagram. (*It may contain irrelevant photos because of the hashtag.)

For some reason the clock on my offscreen is suddenly sideways this morning. No matter screen orientation clock stays sideways. I've tried everything. On lockscreen and homescreen no problems. I've tried portrait mode (which is currently on) and auto rotate. Makes no difference. Clock and notifications remain sideways about 2/3rds up the screen only on offscreen. Any suggestions?

Recently upgraded from Ubuntu 16.04 to 18.04. As I have been setting up my GNOME desktop, I changed my clock to a 12-hour format (AM/PM) in System Settings. However, my login screen still shows the time in 24-hour format.

Overall I have had a lot of trouble trying to configure the GDM shell of the login screen. Many old posts regarding management of things like background, appearance, and behavior seem outdated and don't work. Additionally, having upgraded (instead of a clean install) I can't browse my files to find any obvious configuration file to edit. Gnome Tweak Tool can't seem to manage anything related to the login screen either.

So my wife's FB Sense doesn't appear to "wake up" anymore. EXCEPT if I swipe any of the direction the proper screens appear. It basically looks like the main screen is black and won't work. Tried the 10-sec reboot to no avail. Any ideas? Thx.

Hi @FunkyD03. Welcome on board. @Converse Thanks for stopping by to help this member.

@FunkyD03 Thanks for every step tried prior to posting. Because the issue seems to be only with the clock face screen, may I know if you've tried changing the clock face to one designed by Fitbit? If that's correct and the suggestions shared above didn't work, I'd recommend getting in touch with our Support team so they can evaluate your options and bring your wife back on track. Please click here to get connected with them and make sure to share all the steps that you've tried so far.

Have a good day.

Had a black face with time in white letters, instead of my usual clock face. The moon icon had no checks. Swiping right, I could see the alarm icon but nothing happened when I tapped on it. Anyway, tried soft reboot and suddenly everything was normal again. Thank you.

To have a better overview over time during a meeting, it would be helpful to have the current time / a clock in the zoom bar in addition to the existing timer, which only shows the duration of the meeting.

On Mac, the only workaround is to move my mouse to the top bar of my screen and see the actual clock.

Alternatively I could check my watch or watch the clock on a wall or desk next to me, but this is distracting and in 1on1 meetings not very friendly.

Please add a clock. It is very distracting to have to look away and check the clock on my phone every time I want to know the time. I do not want to use the elapsed time feature as I find this distracting for all participants. I just want a clock so I can gauge pace of my meetings and know how much time has elapsed and how much time is left. Thank you!

Two decades of research identified more than a dozen clock genes and defined a biochemical feedback mechanism of circadian oscillator function. To identify additional clock genes and modifiers, we conducted a genome-wide small interfering RNA screen in a human cellular clock model. Knockdown of nearly 1000 genes reduced rhythm amplitude. Potent effects on period length or increased amplitude were less frequent; we found hundreds of these and confirmed them in secondary screens. Characterization of a subset of these genes demonstrated a dosage-dependent effect on oscillator function. Protein interaction network analysis showed that dozens of gene products directly or indirectly associate with known clock components. Pathway analysis revealed these genes are overrepresented for components of insulin and hedgehog signaling, the cell cycle, and the folate metabolism. Coupled with data showing many of these pathways are clock regulated, we conclude the clock is interconnected with many aspects of cellular function.

There's a point in a talk I'm cutting where a slide pauses so people can read it, and I want to put up a countdown timer on screen so people know 1) the video hasn't frozen and 2) how long until the talk resumes.

It seems stupid that the only way to do something as simple as adding a clock in AVID is to download a beta version of an unsupported plugin from 2011. AVID should really add a robust clock feature to future versions of MC.

The number of times I've seen someone post something like "I can't believe there's no animated alligator wipe* in Avid! It's ridiculous! I have to animate an alligator munching its way across the screen* all the time! This should be built in!"

The secret to being an editor is knowing how to solve problems. In my 20+ year career 9/10 times I've found that the solution is NOT a preset, but rather something that I've made custom for the project. Making a countdown clock using either the built-in Avid Titler tools gives you loads of customization abilities, but if that isn't enough, it's a good opportunity to dip your toe into using After Effects or some other compositiing & graphics program.

Hello, my new xperia 1 ii phone has a different time on the lock screen clock to the home screen clock, sometimes a matter of hours. Any idea why and how to sync them? I would be very grateful for any help. Many thanks.

Can't remember where it is in settings, at the moment, but make sure the network/internet is not set to sleep when the phone is asleep..If it is, it won't update the clock straight away, it'll be updated on the next screen unlock.

I installed build 58.1.A.5.55 today and turned the ambient display back on to see if it was still affected and found that it was - the clock still fails to keep time on the ambient display, so I disabled it again.

However, the clock on the ambient display was still not keeping 100% accurate time when I activated it using the proximity sensor. On one or two occasions it did give the correct time, but mostly it was between 1 and 5 minutes slow.

I think that it will help you clearing the cache and storage for the following apps: STAMINA mode, Battery Care and Lock screen settings. Resetting these applications helped me also to solve other issues caused by the sleep mode.

If you can't swipe right to see the watch face during an activity, there's something wrong with your watch. You can also put the time of day on on your activity screen so it's always present during the activity.

The program flashes the screen between black and white every two seconds, and whenever any key is pressed the screen will change to green and "A key was pressed" will be printed to the console. However, when I run it, the text is printed at the correct time but the screen does not change to green until the next frame. This leads me to believe that pygame.display.update() is not updating the screen when I am calling the function.

The problem seems to be with the delay immediately after calling pygame.display.update(). If you change the FPS of the clock, the problem still persists. This also occurs if you delay with time.wait() or pygame.time.delay() instead of Clock.tick(). ff782bc1db
