My general tendency, not just phones, is an older version of a premium product is far nicer than something new and cheap. Cars for instance. I like BMWs, but 20 year old ones, not new expensive ones. I've found an older iphone is nicer than a cheap new android.

My iPhone browsers seem to have been hijacked. When I open some sites and click on anything on those sites or even touch the screen, a new browser tab opens up and directs to some ad kind of sites. Sometimes it even blanks out the site i was on. I downloaded chrome hoping that will help me browse but the same problem occurs. please help!

I have just discovered this issue as well. I have tested this on several phones (5S, 4S, 6) with iOS 8.2 & 8.3 with the Safari browser on the wireless network. Chrome does not have a problem. But browsing to any site (foxtel.com.au, klappav.com.au, volumestore.com.au, cricket.com.au, battle.net etc) generates the redirect process to a localised spam ad. The sequence of ad serving sites after going to the desired site is as follows:

Using the original Nest cams (5) and the original Nest app, when I pick on a notificatrion I have to sign in with my Google account (this is a crap design), then I have to choose an account (I have more than 1 Google account so more crap), and then I get the 'Update your browser' error and no window opens!!! This is my iPhone 13 and it is always up to date!

I don't get this error if I use the Google Home app to open a notification view.

What is the fix???

No help, none of the browser suggestions helped; the default always was Safari so I changed it to Chrome and same error message!

PS. I don't understand this community post as every time I post an issue all responses are closed out within hours; Reply pick is unpickable!!!

I have Microsoft Edge as my browser on my Win 10 desktop running 1Password with the 1Password X running as the extension - new user but everything working OK and now on learning curve. Problem is with my iPhone. Downloaded the 1Password app Version 7.7 and it is on my iPhone. Settings in iPhone turned on for Autofill with 1Password. I can open the 1Password app, passwords and log-ins are there but when I hit the home button app closes requiring another sign on with master password. Do I need to get an add-on for it as well? If I need extension do I get it from Apple or Microsoft? Name of extension?
