RealPlayer, formerly RealAudio Player, RealOne Player and RealPlayer G2, is a cross-platform media player app, developed by RealNetworks. The media player is compatible with numerous container file formats of the multimedia realm, including MP3, MP4, QuickTime File Format, Windows Media format, and the proprietary RealAudio and RealVideo formats.[7] RealPlayer is also available for other operating systems; Linux, Unix, Palm OS, Windows Mobile, and Symbian versions have been released.

The first version of RealPlayer was introduced on April 3, 1995 as "RealAudio Player" and was one of the first media players capable of streaming media over the Internet. Then, version 4.01 of RealPlayer was included as a selectable Internet tool in Windows 98's installation package.[9] Subsequent versions of the software were titled "RealPlayer G2" (version 6) and "RealOne Player" (version 9), while free "Basic" versions as well as paid "Plus" versions, the latter with additional features, have also been offered. For the Windows OS, the RealPlayer version 9 subsumed the features of the separate program, RealJukebox.

In February 2016, RealNetworks released RealPlayer 18, which incorporated the features of the previous year's release of RealTimes, an app that makes multimedia montages from users' photographs and videos, backed up and accessible via cloud storage. The Real.com Blog states that "RealPlayer with RealTimes (aka "RealPlayer" for short) will still include the legacy features, such as Downloader, Converter, and Web Videos. It will also still include our RealTimes features, such as Photos and RealTimes Stories, our automatic video collage feature."[11] Note that as of 2018, the publisher only provides RealTime for use on a Mac and no longer publishes a media player called RealPlayer for macOS.

RealPlayer SP includes audio CD burning capabilities, DVR-style playback buffering, multimedia search, Internet radio, a jukebox-style file library, an embedded web browser (using Microsoft Internet Explorer), and the ability to convert and transfer media to a wide range of devices. This includes music players such as iPod and Zune, smartphones such as iPhone and BlackBerry, portable gaming devices such as Sony PSP, and console gaming systems such as Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii. Since version 11, RealPlayer SP has gained Flash Video support, DVD, SVCD, VCD burning (120-minute), and video recording (DRM is supported).

As of 2008, RealPlayer Enterprise is a licensed product for enterprise applications which can be customized and remotely administered by RealPlayer Enterprise Manager.[47] The free Realplayer Enterprise Education Edition has been removed.[48] Both versions of Realplayer Enterprise are lightweight, ad-free versions of RealPlayer, missing most consumer features and most plug-in support. The RealSched.exe update reminder can be disabled in two steps, and it is not reinstalled upon running the player.

RealPlayer 1.6.1 (US) or RealPlayer 1.6.0 (worldwide) is available for free for PalmOne-made Palm OS 5 devices, such as the Palm Tungsten or Zire series.[54] It is also compatible with RealPlayer Music Store tracks. However, they will neither install nor run on non-PalmOne-made devices like Sony's Clie line of PDAs. Realplayer for Palm OS does not support later Palm smartphones such as the treo 700p, 755p, or Centro, although the treo 600 and 650 are listed as supported devices.

RealJukebox was a computer program released by RealNetworks that allowed users to organise their digital music. It was first released in May 1999. By late 2001, the functions of the program had been integrated into the Real's core media player program, RealPlayer.

I play mynba and i draft my guy into the latest draft class and build the team around him and another already established star. I like to control the whole team to control the whole narrative down to like every shot.( Im kinda OD with it but i love it) but am i the only one who hates using shot meter? I use real player % and i have a blast. I player who cant shoot, simply wont make the shots if its a bad or contested shot but the shooters can shoot the lights off if you use them in the right spots and run the right plays. I dont ever see anyone else talking about using real player %, but everyone's always complaining about the broken shot meter timing

Before I re-installed Windows, CC (version v6.11 ?? or v6.12 ??) came up with 2 entries (see 1st picture above). Can't remember if I made some modifications to "winapp2.ini". I upgraded from RP v20 to RP v22 and then decided to re-install RP v20. It seems the removal program/tool didn't remove all files/folder/registry entries from Windows and as a result of that CC thought that there were 2 versions of RP installed ("Real Player 20" and "Real player".

Hi mha007,Apparently you didn't read or understand the problem. Not one single suggestion had anything to do with the actual problem. I'm a pretty advanced user and I'm trying to report that this is a Developer issue involving updating the compatibility of the Firefox Browser Record Plugin 15.0.1 specifically for Firefox 10.0. Everything you referred me to, of course, doesn't work because it can't work until the RealPlayer Developers get off their asses and update the Plugin. If I said it "stopped appearing on all videos", I meant what I said. This has nothing to do with any given site at all. I've tested every single idea in that stupid knowledge base. These are simply very basic user instructions for a user who doesn't know how this button works. They cannot ever clear up or even explain a compatibility issue that has to be updated by the Developers. We go through this every update of Firefox. Thanks for trying, though, but we really need users of Firefox 10.0 that are also having this problem with the compatibility of the Browser Record Plugin 15.0.1 to complain to ReaPlayers' Developers.

I really don't understand why???? Its so tired, b/c I really like firefox but when I tried to play a videogame like this: -table/ it doesn't work, what can I do?? b/c its with dif pages so thats why I don't think is /web.

I can readily admit that I'm awful at chess. I'm really weak but I try my best when I'm playing. I try to find openings and all of that when I can, but I can't get over this weird feeling of inadequacy whenever I play. I'll practice with a bot rated around 1000-1200 and I can win with some difficulty and thought, but when I play a real person at 300-400 I get my lunch shoved down my throat. I don't want to jump straight to the cheating card since that's rarely the case. I can't help but feel that there is a SEVERE disparity between engine ELO and real person ELO. Do the bots need to have their ELO crunched down to match their real world equivalents?

For low ratings, bots are really not recommended because bots are deterministic, i.e. they are supposed to find good moves. Therefore, lower ELO bots are "forced" to play really dumb moves, which a real player would not.

FirewallsIf your Real Player is behind a firewall, and you are having trouble receiving the broadcast, the firewall may not be configured to allow RealPlayer Traffic. If you want to view a "Live Broadcast", your system administrator must "Open" the firewall to allow RealPlayer to stream through it. There is nothing that can be changed in Broadcast system to allow a Live Real Video signal to penetrate a firewall unless the firewall is configured to accept Real Video media. For more information concerning firewalls and Real player, please go to:

Currently, the only way to see if a bot is being controlled by a real person is if they have a player name above them in game. This only shows during Lone FIghter, or when you are grouped up with people. Having the name appear above the player model they are actually controlling allows me to know if the one other person with me on the objective is a bot, or a real player. This should only be used for your own team, as the way you handle a situation changes if you can tell before hand if your moving in on a bunch of bots, or players. or 1 player surrounded by bots typically.

These are just our opinions on how to make the build and are designed to target certain badge and animation break points.

Over the last month or so, I've seen the hord of players with those 4-5 character lowercase names playing the same Death Knight deck over and over. They're practically free wins since they don't adapt strategy and play at the same medium pace every turn. What strange though, is that on top of that, I'm also encountering some other players with more normal names but the play style is insanely fast. The moment their turn starts, the card they just drew is already being played and they don't miss a single beat card after card before their turn ends. I understand some players know their decks well so can play fast, but this is over the top. e24fc04721
