Dillard was born on September 16, 1979,[3][2] and lived in the Carol City neighborhood of Miami Gardens, Florida with his parents and family.[7] He has seven sisters, the youngest of whom is his twin. First My House, which was kind of big but was getting way crazy digital sales (not to mention these were extremely lopsided compared to the low streams, which is unusual for a hip hop song). So, first let's look at the big picture. There are several country artists/groups that have included some form of rap in their country music. For example, Luke Bryan and Kick The Dust Up or Florida Georgia Line with This Is How We Roll to name a couple. But, to hear that Flo Rida, the rapper, has debuted a song with a touch of country, is still surprising to me.

You can add instruments that are typically used with country songs, but if the lyrics don't jive with the country vibe, I'm not sure if it will be well received. However, you do have to give Flo Rida kudos, he is constantly trying new things and reinventing. In today's world, unless you keep things fresh, people tend to move on to the next thing.
