I'm not kmacgray, but I can answer your question.

That is incorrect. On Flickr there is only one copy of your photo. Every page on Flickr where your photo appears (in Camera Roll, on your photostream, in a group or someone's favorites) is merely a different context that you are viewing the exact same photo within. Camera Roll is merely one way for *you* to view your images in a specific way, and it has additional organizing functions. Same as the Organizr - all the very same photos, just in a different context with different page functions.

Privacy levels are attached to the photo page where the only copy of your image is displayed. So if your photo page is private, it is private on your photostream. If it is public, everyone with an internet connection can see it. There is no "plus," there only is. The difference is only you have access to the features on the Camera Roll or Organizr page, just like only you can access certain features of the photo page like adding/changing the title, description, changing the privacy level, etc.

Flickr is one of the most popular photo sharing services. With a free account, you get 1TB of storage to upload full resolution photos. However, over time your photostream can get cluttered with photos you no longer want. Here's how to delete photos from your Flickr photostream.

Flickr increased the bulk deletion limit from 10 photos to 500 recently. This still prevents accidentally mass deleting your entire photostream. If you want to delete more, repeat the bulk deletion process in batches.

If you delete public photos, they disappear from your photostream to everyone. Other viewers can't tell you have specifically deleted photos. But photo view counts get reset so frequent deletions becomes noticeable. For private photos, no one else sees the change.

Dealing with clutter in your Flickr account is easily done by removing unwanted photos from your photostream and camera roll. Flickr provides user-friendly tools for deleting individual photos, bulk removal, and recovering recently deleted pics. Keeping your photo collection organized this way lets you shine the spotlight on your best work for all to admire without distraction.

There are many, options as far as inserting pictures from online sources within PowerPoint are concerned. Other than using the Bing Image Search options, you can also access Flickr. Flickr is probably the greatest online resource for pictures uploaded by photographers and enthusiasts all over the world. However, unlike with the Bing option, PowerPoint does not allow you to simply go and insert anyone's Creative Commons licensed pictures from Flickr. You are allowed to download and insert pictures only from your own Flickr photostream. Needless to add, you will need to have an active Flickr account with photos available to use this feature.

The PhillyHistory.org photos on Flickr are available at We encourage people to visit the photostream and add their comments, notes, and tags to the photos. Let us know what you think about the images! ff782bc1db
