The main character of FNAF Killer in Purple is William Afton himself. In case you forgot, that was the very person who invented animatronics and endowed them with their dark desire to murder. Rumors say he was a serial killer himself, responsible for deaths of way too many kids. He is thought to be long gone, but he is right here, lurking around in his purple costume and waiting for another moment to strike. You are going to control this horrible maniac as he stalks his new victims in the infamous pizzeria trying to get your body count higher than the Eiffel Tower and get your morbid thrill out of the hunt.

Lastly, and this one is a little weaker than the others, but I think that the drawings in the of both FNaF 1 and 2 are trophies for Phone Guy. Serial killers tend to keep memorabilia from their victims, something to remind them of the kills (think Dexter and his blood collection). Take a look at the picture on the right wall of the office in FNaF2. Look at the picture of Golden Freddy with kids. Reread that last sentence. Golden Freddy is supposed to be "an old suit" from the back. One that hasn't been used. So how would any of the kids know about Golden Freddy? Beyond that, take a look at his eyes. Every other drawing depicts the characters with white in their eyes. Even though it may be faint to see (there is one that can be up for debate) almost every other single picture has white in the eyes of the characters. Except Golden Freddy. Except the one character drawn that doesn't have robotic eyes that glow. The one character who is only a suit. Phone Guy took that drawing and kept it. He wore the costume earlier on, killed the kids, hired Jeremy and then stashed the costume in the back where he could act shocked and appalled that someone used the costume. Another weird coincidence? Take a look at the second picture up from the fan in FNaF 1. Notice how there are 6 kids and a picture of Freddy? Isn't it weird that in one of the arcade games, there is a scene where Freddy hands out cake to six kids while one child is outside and killed by the purple man? Isn't it weird that, including the Puppet, there are 6 animatronics that are possessed? They're clues left by Scott Cawthon. The story has been there all along. Just like MatPat said before, it's all about vengeance against Phone Guy.

Before Fredbear's had shut down, on June 26th, 1985, William wears the Spring Bonnie suit to lure five children (Gabriel, Jeremy, Susie, Fritz, and Cassidy) into the Safe Room where they were murdered. They get stuffed into the animatronics of Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, and Golden Freddy (speculated to be the decommissioned Fredbear suit) respectively. The Puppet, now possessed by Charlie, allows them to possess the machines. As a consequence, the animatronics begin to act aggressively towards adults and staff members, and outright attempting to, and killing, nighttime security guards, hoping that they will eventually catch their killer. After a while, customers start noticing blood and mucus coming from the robots, which results in the restaurant closing down and the company to be sold to unknown buyers.

Near the end of the film, after Mike is saved from Foxy by Vanessa, he is taken to a police compound to heal his injuries, Vanessa finally tells him the full truth: William is her father, and he kidnapped and killed the five missing kids before stuffing their bodies in the animatronic suits. She was unaware of his kidnapping of Garrett until Mike told her, where she reveals a picture of her and William (wearing the Yellow Rabbit suit) back when the restaurant was open, in which she is holding the toy plane that belonged to Garrett (given to her by William). She reveals that William controls the animatronics and influences their nature, which is why they want to kill Abby to make her a fellow animatronic despite their friendly attitude towards her nights before. She also warns that he would soon be coming to the restaurant to finish the job himself.

You won't have long to dwell on your meeting with this grotesque animatronic amalgamation, as Freddy will soon fall into a chamber below, cueing the emergence of the game's real big bad. The camera cuts to the end of the nearby hallway to reveal everyone's purple-obsessed serial killer, William Afton, has seemingly survived his fiery fate at the end of Pizzeria Simulator.
