Where can I find offline installations for Firefox? Please don't say " " like the previous 20 or so answers to this question. It simply doesn't work. All you get are Stub installers with no option to download only. I have gone as far as completely trying this and the only thing that I could achieve was to upgrade Firefox on the download computer. Why has this Full install thing been a never ending issue with Mozilla? Is it so hard to list these as well as the Installer version? Many people don't like installers.

Note that Firefox 37 will be released today if everything is according to plans, so you may want to wait for that version be be released.Note that you can copy the link to the clipboard and change firefox-stub in the link to firefox-latest to get the latest release or specify the version that you are looking for.

Thank you to all that replied. Several of the links were usable. I mostly hope that someone sees this that can effect change to make this easier to find in the future. I know that each time I try to find these installers, it gets more and more difficult to find.

You can use these offline installers to install Firefox in Windows 7, Windows 8/8.1, Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems along with macOS and Linux. The Firefox offline installer comes in both 32-bit (x86) and 64-bit (x64) editions.

Similarly, you can download the full standalone offline installers of other testing versions of Mozilla Firefox such as Beta, Nightly and Developer Edition or ESR (Extended Support Release) using following links:

You can download the full installer for the current version from the link below (choose OS and interface language), save to or copy to pin/thumb/USB drive, transport to other system for installation and run the installer.

there is no way to install from mozilla's official website...but you can download a standalone installer in cnet.com....here is the link: [link(s) removed by Moderator - please only post links to the Mozilla server to download Firefox]

For windows, if you want a full backup of your mozilla firefox or thunderbird environment, or more than just xpi files, take a look at mozbackup. Its a third party bit of software that does more complete backups. Its what I use now.

I have noticed that when downloading offline installer from ("mozilla.org -> Download options and other languages") each time you download an installer it has different sha256sum. That sum never corresponds to one provided by Mozilla ftp server.

When You download Firefox (offline installer) from "Mozilla org -> Download options and other languages" and You're using web browser that don't have any script/privacy blocking You will see a download page with dropdown lists showing (Which browser would you like to download?) (Select your preferred installer) (Select your preferred language). When You click "Download Now" You'll get the offline installer from page with link (for example): "https cdn stubdownloader services mozilla com builds firefox latest ssl ...win64 5ae9f5d85d1548300855979b9ed860e454f7620a0dc32e585452a8144725c403 Firefox...exe

If You reload this page and try to download once again the number between "/win64/" and "/Firefox..." will be different, you also will download a installer with different hashsum. All files downloaded this way seem to be valid and contain valid Firefox installer, they also are correctly digitaly signed. I think that if you using that way of download, each time a key-number/(some kind of identifier) is generated, and an installer is dynamicaly created by Mozilla server. Hashes are different because either the installers are created dynamically in a slightly different way each time, or the server puts additional information in the installers (e.g. some number identifying the installer).

However, when a browser with script blocking (or greater privacy protection) is used, scripts used by the website will be blocked and you will see an older version of the download page (Language, Windows exe installer link, Windows msi installer link, Linux installer link...etc), when You click on exact download link You get an offline installer from page for example: "htttps download installer cdn mozilla net pub firefox releases... Firefox exe", this installer has sha256 sum exact the same as listed in official sha256sum from Mozilla ftp server.

These installer differences are simply due to the behavior of the Mozilla website. I think this is normal/expected behavior, perhaps due to mozilla's policy of collecting some statistics. Unfortunately, this misleads people who want to validate the installer download. It would be nice for someone (for example from Mozilla) to comment on this.

Since you posted in the Malwarebytes Browser Guard section of the forums for Firefox I assume you're using Firefox @1PW and that you're saying MBG blocked the full offline installer download? I was not able to replicate this block.

In this article, we cover direct download links for a full standalone offline installer for Firefox (32-bit) and (64-bit) for Windows, Mac, and Linux OS. Using an offline installer you can install Firefox on multiple computers offline without wasting internet bandwidth.

As Google has always been doing with their Chrome web browser, Mozilla has recently switched to a web-based installer for its browser, Firefox. Now, when you click the download link, you will get a small installer stub instead of the full big-sized installer. The web installer downloads the full version of Firefox. This is not an issue for users who want to install Firefox on just one PC, or who have a good Internet connection which is always online. However, there are several cases where you might need the complete, full offline installer for Firefox. For example, if you want to download it once and then install it on multiple PCs, it makes no sense to download it individually on every PC. Also, if you have an expensive and limited mobile internet data plan, then again you wouldn't want to download Firefox multiple times. To get the full offline installer for Firefox, you have at least two options.

There is a page on the official Firefox web site containing all possible Firefox distributions for all operating systems and interface languages. Unlike the home page, it offers the full offline installer.

In addition to the official web site, Mozilla offers another way to access all their products. From their FTP server, you can get all versions of Firefox, Thunderbird etc, from the very first releases to the latest daily alphas. The FTP server has a well-organized folder structure, so you can find anything you want quickly.
