The Most easiest solution is remove or uninstall all about the Ms office software package and end task through the key Ctrl+shift+Esc. than install is again before click the install button you have to show the customize option and than you can easily install that about limited software's from ms office who you want.

I have a new PC with Vista 64 on it and I'm trying to install MS Office

2007. I have a valid 2-user licence for Office 2007 Pro-Plus (bought for my

son from a certified MS partner/educational reseller) with one licence still

free. When I try to install Office from the CD I get a message halfway

through the install saying "Setup cannot find proplus.ww\office64ww.msi,

browse to a valid installation source and then click ok". If I browse to the

install disk and click OK then the system just comes up with the same error

message again.Based on suggestions found on various forums I have tried copying the

contents of the CD to my hard drive and running the install from there but I

still get the same error.I have tried uninstalling all previous Office installations using the

official MS tool (from )

before performing the new install but this doesn't help either. In frustration I decided to give up on Pro Plus and see if I could install

the Office Home & Student edition, for which I also have a spare licence

available (bought from Amazon), and I still get the same error, the only

difference being that the "missing" file is in the homestudentr.ww folder

rather then the proplus.ww one.Can anyone tell me what I have to do to get MS Office working on my lovely

new Vista 64 machine? Thanks in advanceIndie Blue

What does ww stand for in terms of microsoft installers? At the root of their office product for example, there are folders like proplus.ww and proplus.en-us each of which contain various .exe and .msi files. But It looks like the .ww file contains the more important .msi file. (For example, If I am deploying software with SCCM, the .WW file/folder is the one I need to choose)

How To Deploy Microsoft Office 2013 Using SCCM 2012 R2 In this post we will see how to deploy Microsoft Office 2013 using SCCM 2012 R2. If you are planning to deploy Microsoft Office 2010 using SCCM 2012 then you can click on this link. In this post we will be deploying Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2013 64 bit edition and the copy of office that I have is an MSDN copy. We know that the OCT (Office Customization Tool) is available only with volume licensed versions of Windows Installer-based Office 2013, Office 2010, and the 2007 Office system. To determine whether an Office 2013 installation is a volume licensed version, check the Office 2013 installation disk to see whether it contains a folder named Admin. If the Admin folder exists, the disk is a volume license edition. If the Admin folder does not exist, the disk is a retail edition. As there is no admin folder with MSDN copy we will first download Office Customization Tool 2013 from here. We are basically looking for an unattended setup of Microsoft Office 2013 and this can be achieved only when you customize the installation using office customization tool. You can refer to SCCM 2012 R2 step by step guide here.

Once you download the OCT 2013 setup file you need to install the software. Run the OCT 2013 executable file and extract the files to a folder inside Office installation files. In the below screenshot I have manually created the Admin folder and copied the OCT 2013 setup file inside it. The files are extracted to Admin folder, you can also skip creating a folder manually because the OCT 2013 setup file creates a folder named Admin by itself and extracts the files in it. The office 2013 setup files are stored on a drive in SCCM server in a folder named Office 2013.

Click on Licensing and user interface, choose the option Use KMS client key if you have KMS server in your organization for activating office 2013 suite, else choose Enter another product key and enter the office 2013 key. Click on I accept the terms in the license agreement. Select the Display level as Basic, check the box for Suppress modal and No cancel.

HI, a great site by the way. by design and content. i would like to know that, if I want to upgrade from office 2007 to office 2013 via sccm how would i do that ? i am guessing the same tutorial as above with some extra modification of removing existing office version ??

In your post what do we do with the custom_setting we created where do we add this to the package maybe i missed something????

do we add the custom setting inside the application office 2013 folder and then package it?

In order to install office 2013 you first need some prerequisite installed which can be found on the Microsoft website ( -us/library/ee624351.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396) , most of which will just be windows updates. If you wish to install Lync 2013 you will need to use the version before SP1 and manually download the SP1 or the latest service pack and add it to the updates folder.

But now I have to remove the Skype for Business Components. Is there a way how to remove just that feature with a command line option, XML or MSP config? without reinstalling the whole office package?

I've been searching all over and haven't found many people describing a similar issue, and I wondered if anyone here could help. I'm installing Office 2013 w/SP1 during my OSD task sequence. I've created a custom.msp and have it in my updates folder - that is applying correctly. What is not applying, however are all the other patches in the updates folder. I have followed the procedure here: -us/library/cc178995(v=office.15).aspx#section4 using the script provided to collect updates from a fully patched Office installation. I put all of them in the updates folder on my network installation source. In my SetupExe...log I am seeing the following first, in which it looks like it detects all the patches and says that most of them are applicable.

After doing that and testing out my task sequence, I checked my logs again. The installation updates folder was referenced this time. It still looked very similar to the one I posted above with a lot of Applying patch: and Warning: Unknown stage encountered while completing an MSI progress stage. Stage: 0 errors, but checking in "Programs and Features" I see that all of the office patches were applied.

Step 5: Customising Install directory, organisation name and licencing options. In these steps you can configure where Office will be installed to and supply license details for activation. If you plan on using KMS you can view my article here on How to install kms server and activate office 2016. If you do not wish to use KMS here you should specify your MAK Key. You want to accept the terms of the licence agreement and choose Suppress Modal & No Cancel

You should also find new .desktop files for each off the office apps on your desktop. You can copy or move these files using Nautilus into ~/.local/share/applications if you want them to appear in the Ubuntu dash and 'select application' menus.

Had to use POL wine 3.14 (latest 3.19 or 3.0 /3.4 did not work for me) on Ubuntu 18.04 and steps 1-5 post Kevin to get MS Office 2016 (Word/Excel/Powerpoint) started. If you download the complete office 2016 IMG file, the installation includes your personal license and is already activated on start.

Select "Msi Product" for the detection method, and either enter theproduct code as shown, or browse to"C:\data\apps\office2010\source\x86\ProPlusr.WW" and select"ProPlusrWW.msi" to get the MSI product code for Office 2010Professional Plus.

Important: This MSI Product Code depends on the version ofOffice you are installing. The one shown below is for the"Professional Plus" edition. This is not yourproduct key for Office, but the MSIproduct code that identifies the product being installed. For Office2010 Standard, you would browse to"C:\data\apps\office2010\source\x86\Standardr.WW\StandardrWW.msi"to get the MSI Product Code. 2351a5e196
