You can apply scoreboard values to fake players (just put in any name when applying an objective) and that works just fine for a counter on the side of the screen, but when it comes to using them for command block game logic what do you do? I've been struggling to find help because I don't even know what search term to use.

But trying to run that results in "Expected whitespace to end an argument" and I'm not really sure what that means in this context. I know I have the improper syntax I just don't know what the proper syntax would be.

I have a scoreboard dummy objective called "EYES" and a fake player called LOCKED. This minigame Centers around trying to lock in eyes of ender into specific portal frames, thus when this is displayed on the sidebar it will say:

This works great for displaying the status of the game, but I need to be able to execute commands once LOCKED reaches a certain threshold.

The work around that I've been using is to have a fake, second scoreboard that just doesn't display, but that feels really hacky.

How to avoide Fake player join in my server? From few days i noticed that many players are joining from the same ip and the server gets full, but no player is shown in the server and they join by random names.

I'm struggling with creating new playerdata (the server's one in /world/playerdata/[uuid].dat). I write a plugin which should make fake players to be banks (but in fact regular fake players) and hold money (I use Vault API).

However no playerdata is created and if I try to check if this player exists in game, it says that it can't find it. I also use CMI plugin and I would like the solution that is compatible with this (I mean that this new player will be instantly recognized by it - that it exists).

I've looked and can't figure out how to do it, I'm trying to make a Karma system for my map and I want to use the fake players trick. I'm trying to make a good and bad karma system where the player presses a button to get 1 good karma point or presses the other button to get a bad karma point so that if the player looks at the scoreboard on the side it will show their good and bad karma points I already have the scoreboard setup which I named Karma just need to know how to do the other parts.

For 2 to work, you can add "fake players". This way you can have multiple "variables" with separate values, but the in-game mechanic is to essentially have the variables appear on the scoreboard using the scoreboard players... command. Hence, "fake players". (Player names that start with # do not show up on the scoreboard displayed on the screen).

Also, been thinking about the AI squad building issues and how I personally think real life players at the start of the game are the cause of the imbalance leading to the same players playing for the clubs well into their 30s.

Has anyone done a long term sim of the game using fake players from the start. I know these players just replace the real life ones, but as there's no issue with licencing, their personalities would (I assume) be better spread. I'd be interested to see if 6-10 years down the line the starting XI for Chelsea (for example) still has all the same players well into their 30s or whether the gameworld would be better balanced for the lack of real life players and their faultless personalities.

I often play with fake players, particularly if I start a save in the summer which makes the squads out of date. Actually had quite a lot of fun with it in the past - it does make things a little more interesting with personality spread. They do replace real players, but there IS some variance to nationalities here & there. Player histories also disappear so after a few seasons it can get quite difficult to identify who players were.

I didn't know they modified personalities. I thought it was just randomly generating some facts like name and maybe nationality. The personalities thing is one that slightly breaks immersion for me since all the real players have neutral at worst.

Back to your original question. I think the hard part about any of these experiments is so much of the world depends on what you've loaded. Too small a db and leagues loaded results in crazy high fees, not enough players or newgens to fill out the world. Too large and players are cheap and top teams probably hoard talent. I kind of wish SI would give you more info at game start to create a balanced save (or not if that's your thing) rather than playing 5-10+ years and realizing that something you did 500 hours ago ruined your save.

I tried this strategy a couple of times over the years but gave up early in the save- I couldn't get past not knowing the current players in my mind, especially when looking at my opponents and figuring out who to pay special attention to.

Real players personalities are restricted by licensing, therefore I'm working on the assumption that since the players on the other mode are 'fake' they are not bound by licensing therefore the personalities can be more evenly spread. I've never played this mode, so I've no idea.

Yes, I love a good fake players game. I remember I once signed Lewandowski but in that reality he was Greek. Last year I had a game in Iceland I was about half a season in to it before I realised I ticked the 'use fake players' button.

I don't follow football and haven't done for years, so every time I play it might as well be 'fake' players. It is an aspect I wish SI would make more of - incorporate some full on fantasy universe stuff like Out of the park Baseball with custom leagues etc, and maybe even use all the old data they've gathered over the last 30 years to allow historical starts (I'd love a crack at the Cup Winners Cup!). I doubt there is much call for it though.

Gregoire Akcelrod was one of the latter, who almost managed to play in the Champions League with CSKA Sofia, but was found out because of his fake CV and comments made by fans when he signed for the club.

The Frenchman then set out on making a future for himself based on lies. He created a false website that described him as one of his team's best players, supported by match reports which spoke about Nicolas Anelka, in which he swapped the ex-Real Madrid and Arsenal star's name for his own.

Reports last week in Canadian media claimed that the 22-year-old Miami-born player had played in a Quebec indoor amateur soccer league under an assumed name and was subsequently banned for life from said league for punching another player in the face.

"The risks of counterfeit products go beyond damaging the reputation of a name on a label; the U.S. economy and American jobs are at risk with the purchase of seemingly harmless items," said CBP Acting Commissioner Thomas S. Winkowski. "Ultimately, the cost of purchasing a fake product is much greater than the perceived savings."

Hello all! I recently bought 2 separate Link's awakening Gameboy boxes - the player's choice variant. They were from 2 different sellers, but both were highly reviewed. The 2 boxes looked pretty similar in the pictures, but now seeing them in person I can see several distinct differences. I've listed the differences below, and I was hoping someone with more knowledge could help me determine if this is a case of 2 legit box variants or if one of these boxes is a non-authentic reproduction?

The Real Book player is the musician that learns tunes out of a fake book, practices in front of a fake book, and performs using a fake book. Like a ball and chain, the book is always there. No book = no music.

For years I used to be a real book player. I looked at lead sheets to memorize tunes, I practiced improvisation by staring for hours at written out chord progressions, and I relied on the book like a life preserver at gig after gig.

Because there is a mentality that being a jazz musician is rolling up to a gig with a stack of fake books and sight reading tunes at random, many musicians feel that it is ok to get by without actually learning tunes and putting something personal or original into the music. This mindset actually limits and hurts the music.

Remember, every time that you take your eyes away from the music, your ears will be tested. The next time you find yourself reading a standard from a fake book, put down the book and put your ears to the test. 2351a5e196
