Download Expired Link

I have a link that is a public link to a file/folder that was given to our client by a previous employee. That employee left over a year ago, we've now got a link that shows expired and have no idea what file it is connected with so we can update and/or re-release the file. Is there anyway to even for an admin to lookiup a file by an expired link?

Unfortunately, not much can be done, then. If you had access to the original file or folder the link pointed to, you could create a new link. But since it sounds like you don't know exactly where it pointed, there's nothing that can be done

I have had a customer report (and I have replicated) the issue. When I send my user a magic link they receive the email and click on the magic link. This results in the popup from bubble that the link has expired. I have overridden the expiration time to 2 hours. The email is received and link clicked on within a minute or so.

The thing making it tough to troubleshoot is that one of our admins WAS able to add themselves as a user with a spare email. (I tried to add an extra email - I was not able to log in with it, I got the same 'expired link' message.)

@flamber we will try this - it is plausible, the four users we are testing the issue with are are all in substantially different time zones - although the one person who did not get the 'expired' message is in between two who could not, so that does not fit with the theory, but maybe there is some other explanation for that.

As Rich said she needs to get you a new link or go to www.dropbox.com/links and change the expiry date of the link if its still accessible. Ultimately, however, the only person who can do it is the originator of the link.

If anyone is still experiencing this "Link expired: Link no longer exits" error, I suspect that this happens if you mark the product as "subscription only" in your Shopify Admin > Products, as the link then doesn't contain the selling plan parameter.

I resolved it by changing the theme, which handles these buy buttons differently and it worked perfectly with the Seal subscription app.

What is happening is that when I go to log in, it gives the choice (the only choice) to send a magic link to my email. Each and every time I click on the link in the email, Asana gives an error claiming that the link is expired.

Alright so I've never really been on this sub before, so if this is an odd post I'm sorry, but I didn't really know where else to ask. Basically, I don't remember my password and spotify has this option to send you an email so you can just log in, and everytime I click their link to log me in, it just says link expired. Can anybody help me out with this?

I am trying to create a ROTP on the "Recover Account" page. When I enter my email and select "I'm not a robot" I get an SMS message right away. Then immediately after I enter the SMS message number I get:

"The link has expired or is invalid. Please generate a new link and try again."

Then after a couple of attempts I get the (expected) message:

You tried sending too many SMS messages. Please try again in a little while.

I have the same issue. I forgot my Master password. I go through the recovery flow. I get an SMS. I enter the code right away and get "The link has expired or is invalid. Please generate a new link and try again."

If the meeting has truly expired and no longer available on your account under the Previous meetings tab (as mentioned by @Rupert), you can potentially contact Zoom Support and request they help you recreate the meeting with that specific meeting ID. You would need to create a new meeting with a new ID, then request Zoom swap the new ID for the old ID (if that ID is not in use by someone else already).

I thought I renewed my weekly zoom class but today is was nowhere and is not in previous meeting section. I was able to use the old link and start the meeting luckily. I would like to restore this class and use the link. Thank you

I'm creating a flutter app and use Firebase Auth, everything works just fine including Facebook and Google sign ins, however, once password reset link is sent via email, it shows up as already expired.

I tried to add an account as an admin and when the link got was clicked it said the link has been expired ask for another link. Then I send another and it still said the same. I am aware the link gets expired after a set number of hours but this all happened in the course of a few minutes and it still said the link has been expired

If you send your customer an invoice using the dashboard or API, they will be able to enter their email address in the recovery flow when they open an expired link. This will resend them the invoice with a fresh link.

I create collaborative playlists with friends and clients. Recently, Spotify changed the collaboration feature to "Invite Collaborators", which is nice as it copies the link immediately. But there are at least 2 issues I'm experiencing.

Yes, there was a resent change to privacy of playlists and also to the way collaborative playlist function. Basically now every playlist (public or private) of yours can be shared for a collaborator to join on it via a collaboration link, that lasts for 7 days. The receiving party must open the link and follow the list, so they will be added as collaborators to it. If they have missed the timeframe to follow your playlist, then you'd simply need to send them a new invitation link. This expiration limit is set for security reasons, so your link and playlist doesn't get abused and you also retain the option to remove collaborators at a later stage. That hasn't been my exact experience. I've tried to resend the expired playlists links by right-clicking on the playlists and selecting "invite collaborators" again. When sending these links to my clients they were still not able to access the playlists. I've had to fully delete and re-create the playlists to share them again. Is this functioning as planned? Or should the original playlists work again for 24 hours?

Also, if someone follows the playlist within 24 hours, is that playlist then set as "collaborative" for anyone else that reaches it using that link after 24 hours? For instance, if one client makes it within 24 hours but another doesn't, will it be accessible by both, or just the one that made it in time?

To answer your question directly - the generated invitation link works only 7 days and then it expires and becomes unusable for all who received it. Those who opened it in time should be successfully added as collaborators and you should be able to see and control this for the particular playlist. The time limit for the link is put in place for security reasons and prevents eventual wrongdoings with your playlist. You can generate new invitation links at your collaborators' own convenience, but make sure to alert them that the link will expire in 7 days, and if they for some reason couldn't get to it, then they should request a new one from you.

Thank you for the concise answer. I am quite displeased with this change. My friends and clients work on playlists with me for months. People are added iteratively to my collaboration as they go. I cannot be tasked with making new links for the hundreds of people that can collaborate on each playlist. This breaks one of the best features of the Spotify for me.

I'm developing a collaborative list for a married couple and the link constantly expires, I have the premium version... so I don't understand why they haven't fixed this yet. What are the options that the link of my collaborative list works once and for all???????

As mentioned above by @Kiril, the created invitation link is valid temporary and will last 7 days before expiring and being rendered useless for everyone who received it. Those that successfully opened it at the appropriate time should have been added as collaborators, and you should be able to see and manage this for the specific playlist.

The link's duration limit was set up for security reasons to guard against any misuse of your playlist. You can create new invitation links at your collaborators' convenience. but remember to notify them that the link expires in 7 days, and that if they were unable to access it for any reason, they should ask you for a new one.

But I'm also wondering how long the link is really valid. Above you all say that it is valid for 24h. In this Spotify support article ( -playlists/) it says it is valid for 7 days. Which one is it - 24h or 7 days?

I bought vorpx few month ago, tested it and delete after that. Right now I decide to install it, but download link expired. When I ask to resend me message with link from payment system, in new letter I recieve old expired link for download.
