Has anyone encountered using the efax messenger getting the error "A Required Resource is Not Available" after installation. Reinstallation produce the same error after the installation and when you try to even launch the application.

I have a windows 7 desktop that getting this error after installing the last version of efax. I called efax and support said "we no longer support windows 7 or 8/8.1 and even I didn't know this" after talking to someone else. I manage to get this to work on other Windows 7 desktops thought and their site made no mention it no longer supported (this a month ago since I did this and yet, their site still shows it supported on the older OSes including Win 7 and Win 8/8.1).

An email to tech support that I sent a week ago was just responded to and says "Please note that eFax messenger is notcompatible with windows 10. For anyfurther query, you can speak with aCustomer Support Representative please call 1 323 817 3205, representatives areavailable to assist 24/7. Honestly David, I am surprise by not my experience but also seeing this person experience. Thank you for your help with getting me into contact with the other level of support but your company needs to look into your consumer support team and see why they are acting or responding to people with these dumb answers. Question is how do others get the same kind of support level I did without having to jump through hoops and over ladders to get some decent help. My first experience with support would have literally tell me never to use you guys again and telling my future clients "stay away from efax.com". I had issues in the past where efax messages weren't being delivered to your system and support was extremely unhelpful and we never solved it when we first signed up (same customer as the one from my original post).

I agree with you. We purchased the HP6520 all in one with the understanding we would be able to fax. We have a small business and really wanted this feature. Nowhere on the box did it say you won't be able to fax if you only have wifi. Nor did it say this in the instructions. I have spent countless hours trying to set up my so called free efax account proudly touted by HP. I have always purchased HP printers but am extremely disapointed with the advertising gimmick with offering free efax capability. SHAME on HP advertising dept.
