What I have done so far here is to use a good Android Voice Recorder, which is Easy Voice Recorder App ( =com.digipom.easyvoicerecorder.pro&hl=en&gl=US).

This App has a very nice widget, that I put on the top left corner of my Android device. To record an audio, I just press the widget (a red ball) and it turns into a white block. Then I know it's recording already. I say what I need to say, that is "dictate" my note and then press the white block again. It goes back to the red ball.

End of the story is that I want to take audio notes into text and into Evernote.

Best of the worlds would be like this : very easy Evernote widget that I press to Record/Stop and what I say during the recording becomes a text note on Evernote. Simple as that.

This is my original post.

Currently there are many ways to get close to that. I have done something that is very cumbersome and doesn't solve the issue. It doesn't transcribe the audio. But we can see that Apple Notes allow you to get closer to the idea.

Currently there are many ways to get close to that. I have done something that is very cumbersome and doesn't solve the issue. It doesn't transcribe the audio. But we can see that Apple Notes allow you to get closer to the idea.

A few (maybe 3-4) years ago, Evernote acquihired someone who was working on a voice to text transcription service that could support and recognize multiple speakers, and I was excited about the possibility of integrating this technology into Evernote. There was even an Evernote technical blog post [Edit: found the link!] that hinted about a vision of supporting business meetings (e.g. recording, auto-transcribing, and making searchable team meetings, perhaps with the audio synced to shared notes being made collaboratively by the team). But then the Evernote leadership changed, a new direction was set, and none of that came to pass.

Joplin Server will be the initial way that this will end up working, there was an older nextcloud app to do the same thing but this has been deprecated in favour of Joplin Server so in the short term it is unlikely that things will be easy to share on any other sync target.

I totally agree. Agenda being bulked up with tons of features that partly stray far. But the main selling point of date focused note taking seems not that important anymore. I would like to see a permanently visible calendar, where you can browse through dates (not search) and have all the notes of the day you click on displayed.

I haven't played easy or medium Rock Band on guitar since... Well, ever. I started on Guitar Hero. So I don't know if this is how it's always been, but I'll play Rock Band 4 with some friends who play on easy and medium and they have orange notes. Has it always been this way?

I just started learning the notes by sticking my clip on tuner, then playing each note, and realizing what was happening as I went up the frets. And just seeing the patterns happen, like the 5th fret repeat thing you mentioned.

Like @Vik I purchased a small clip-on tuner so I could be reminded of the notes when I wanted to see where I was at. Also, I am at the same spot in the course, which means I was ALSO getting MY ass-kicked by Billie Jean, LOL!

Oddly, it was aaaalllllmmost easier than the 4-string crossing riff in the Lesson before; I think maybe because the other one forces you to use all 4 strings where this was just 2 strings and 2 frets. Though I am nowhere near playing it to the normal speed yet!

Before pasting the screenshot, try to enter an extra empty paragraph. Then, move the cursor above this empty paragraph and paste. Since you now have a paragraph below the image, you can continue your notes there. Does it work?

PS1: enable View>Formatting Marks to have better clues about what is really in your document and see the existing paragraphs.

PS2: when asking here, always mention OS name (done), LO version (missing) and save format (most fixes are only valid and persistent with .odt).

More advanced - is it possible to create some sort of UI / onboarding flow where it is very easy to log a new first meeting with specific information (the deal, the company, the contact, the notes of the meeting)

For example, I would love to be able to create a custom link where anyone can go and easily log a first meeting, and it prompts them to associate it with a company / deal / contact and enter the relevant notes.

The Easy Notes Character magnets represent the music notes taught using the stories in the Easy Notes theory books. The learner can place the magnets on the magnetic staff board and on the piano keyboard to practice identifying the notes on the staff and linking them to the notes on the piano. This gets the learner moving and engaging with what they are learning in the theory books, which helps them to assimilate and retain it. The characters are bright and colorful, and simply adorable!

The Easy Notes Piano Map magnets include dog houses, lily pads and other pictures that can be placed on the groups of black notes to create a map on the keyboard. The pictures relate to the stories in the Easy Notes theory books, and help the student to connect the notes on the staff to the correct notes on the piano. The Piano Map magnets are made to be used with the Piano Keys magnets.

The notes are taught through stories, and each note has its own character name. Four octaves, from Low C to High C, are covered. The most essential element of Easy Notes are the two workbooks. I have recommended the Easy Notes Large Stave kit to my families because it includes a sturdy, practical magnetic staff and whimsical character magnets for each of the notes in the four octaves. It also includes ledger lines and some magnetic pictures (a house for Treble Staff Street and cows grazing on a hill for Bass Staff Farm) to place on the magnetic staff.

They are made of quarter inch (6mm) thick magnetic-backed foam, making them easy to pick up and place on the magnetic staff board. The notes are 3.5 inches (8.8 cm) tall. The note heads are 0.8 inch (2 cm) tall.

If you're looking for a simple and convenient way to make a note or two, then this is the best app for you. It's a simple and intuitive way to make notes without having to do any extra work. You can easily make a list of things you need to remember, write down an idea for a book you're reading, or even draw a picture to help you remember what you wrote down.

To avoid vague notes, list the associated learning center or subject area and include a specific description of what the child is doing. Of course, time is always a concern in preschool classrooms, and children move quickly from one task to the next! Abbreviations can help capture detailed observations in an efficient way.

When a challenging situation arises, such as a child not making progress as expected, you can share your notes and reflections with colleagues to generate new ideas about lessons and activities to try. And if a comprehensive or diagnostic assessment seems called for, you have a rich set of records to share with families and specialists.

Here's the crappy way, it's blowing harder to get higher. That makes me dizzy to do that because you use so much air to be able to get those high notes. You probably don't sound like that. You probably sound like this. This is the second way. This is where you squeeze your mouth to get the higher notes like this.

This is the third way of playing. This is the pro way. And instead of squeezing your mouth to get the high notes, your lips go instead of squeezing, they move forward like this. So you'll see this as well when I'm playing. Did you see that? I should look, yes, you can see it. So the way to do that is to think, Ooh, or corners forward or the other way is pouting like an air kiss, bit pouty.

When air is being lost, it means you need to breathe in more to compensate for that, which makes you go dizzy because you're getting too much oxygen to your brain. There you go. In a nutshell, the three ways of playing the flute. Three ways of - Oh, now this is sounding terrible. Three ways of embouchure playing, 3 embouchure sort of. Three ways of controlling notes when you play the flute.

I didn't introduce myself. My name is Jane Cavanagh. I live in Australia. You can probably tell from the way I speak, which sounds normal to me, but probably not normal to most people watching this video. I'm a flute player. I love making difficult concepts easy for teachers and for players. And so I hope this helped you. Bye.

I just recorded a midi bass playing quarter notes on different notes and feel it would sound better in 8ths. Besides rerecording the part and splitting each note individually, is there an easy way to turn multiple bars worth of quarter notes into 8ths? Perhaps some kind of "apply similar edit" function?

Thanks guys. Yeah, I use all those methods above already, it just becomes tedious to manually select every other note, as you cannot simply lasso the notes! I've also used the "select equal subposition" from the edit menu, which works pretty good. The problem is you still have to manually select every other note for a bar or two. 2351a5e196
