My wifi driver (Intel(R) Wi-Fi 6 AX201 160 MHz) has completely ceased to function. I've tried running the Driver Assistant tool multiple times, and installing the newest version of the driver has not helped at all.

I'm not very technologically inclined and I'm having a really hard time understanding what to fix here.

When installing said driver, it told me that the installation failed. I tried to do a system restore, which did not help getting wifi connectivity back. The device said it was working, but did not get any wifi connection and did not discover any networks.

What I tried next was to uninstall the device from my Device Manager and install either the current drivers found through windows, then I tried the same with the current drivers on the HP driver page. both of those attempts failed. It always tells me that installation failed when I uninstall and reinstall drivers. If I try to update the broken driver via internet, it tells me it is up to date, and in the device manager it still views as broken.

I'm pretty much out of ideas by now, short of reinstalling. The only option I can still think of was that the device broke at the exact moment I installed the new windows driver, but I find that a bit unlikely. Any help would be appreciated fixing this issue.

So for me, I installed a modded driver for my graphics card, everything went smooth, then I did the reboot and my wifi was gone. I don't know why, but installing the new graphic drivers messed with my wifi drivers. All I had was the Ethernet connection icon and not the wifi anymore.

After a hair-pulling hour, this is how I managed to get it working again. First using my phone since I didn't have another pc, I downloaded the wifi driver for my laptop, then transferred it to my pc using a usb cord. (was too lazy to move my pc to connect it by ethernet)

I installed it, and no wifi. I rebooted, and still no wifi icon, just Ethernet. After checking all the services, I went into Device Manager, then network, and saw the wifi driver was in there. I right-clicked on it, and selected Scan for hardware changes. Nothing seemed to happen, but then all of a sudden my wifi came back like magic.

Hello HP employees, I hope you all are doing well.

Recently I did a clean installation of windows 11 on my HP laptop from a Authorised HP service centre since then and before my wifi option not showing up in task menu or in setting options sometime it's available sometime it's not which very frustrating please help me to fix it and by the way my wifi adapter is perfectly fine when I open the device manager my wifi is hidden in the networking and it says some error with Code 45 I don't know what to do. If you have any fix please let me know.

Can you please tell me if their is a way to enable it in bios and something or I just download it from Intel or Realtek itself their is something we need to do about this please help me currently my wifi doesn't even showing up in the device manager like it's not even their in the first place I tried to reset it and I just updated windows 11 22h2 I also ping 127.1.1.1 and ping 127.1.0.0.1 and hardware is perfectly fine it is responding in cmd I also tried netsh winsock reset.

Has anyone been able to get this to work with kali? I moved the new driver over to /lib/firmware and disabled the default all fine. I am able to see networks only after turning wifi off and back on in the setting and cannot connect to any. Any thougths?

i have Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX200 , how do i know the version of my driver , can u write that command line in the 5 step for me ( im Linux beginner and my english is not good sorry ) , have been stuck with no wifi adapter found for 3 days

Disabling and re-enabling the network adapter, in network settings in control panel, uninstalling the network adapter and reinstalling it in device manager, updating drivers, rolling back to previous versions of drivers, checking for any outstanding windows updates using an ethernet connection.

It seems some of the hardware were not designed for Win10. HP made many workarounds including BIOS firmware updates and driver updates (yes...you need to update both BIOS and drivers). Some models will even need to update wifi card chipsets (or Wifi adapter firmware).

Note that the behavior of airmon-ng will differ between drivers that support the new mac80211 framework and drivers that don't. For drivers that support it, a command such as sudo airmon-ng start wlan0 will produce output such as

For drivers that don't support the mac80211 framework, a command such as sudo airmon-ng start wlan0 will not report anything about a "mon0" device, and you will capture on the device you specified in the command. To turn monitor mode off, you would use a command such as sudo airmon-ng stop wlan0.

I have certain windows mobile devices which supposed to be only connected to a known wifi network. so the user of the device can not connect to other wifi network as they intend. how can i tackle this problem. your kind guidance is required. i know this is constrained by many hard factors. but i would like to know if there is a way. Thank you

first i thought watching and deleting wifi network profiles. but am afraid performing such things will allow on windows mobile. then i to find a way to close other application connection if its connected to unwanted network. then i tried to find a way to write a driver to mobile device driver (though it is a tough task) ,at least to understand the possibility 2351a5e196
