I've tried the HP WinPE driver packs, the HP web site drivers for this device, the Intel drivers from their website but none of them work. Has anyone had any success getting this device to build with this NIC?

As a side note make sure that your systems are booting to UEFI mode when booting. I had a box with an L219 the other day and while booting to legacy the nic drivers wouldn't work but while in UEFI mode they did work.

I remember it being a faff, but I did get it working eventually. I know that the HP Softpaq edition of the driver did not work, and I got it from Intel's website. If I remember correctly, that was back in July last year - maybe you could try with a driver version from back then?

I can confirm that Benjamin's solution worked for us here. Just unzip this folder, select the e1d62x64.inf file when you are creating your new boot disk/PXE image, and the proper driver for the Elitedesk 800 G4 will be injected.

Another thing I recently found out was that HP do deliver WinPE driver packs! You can get them from this page. Even if you don't inject everything, it can be a good place to start your search for any drivers.

As in the previous message, downloaded the "intel-i219-lm-winpe10drivers-x64" driver package and tried adding the driver to the WinE10 drivers list. Choosing the e1d62x64.inf is fine, and the driver summary lists the i219. Clicking OK pops up an alert saying

I'm still having grief with this. As in the previous posts, I've tried everyone's advice, downloaded the "intel-i219-lm-winpe10drivers-x64" driver package and tried adding the driver to the WinE10 drivers list. Choosing the e1d62x64.inf is fine, and the driver summary shows the i219 . Clicking OK pops up an alert saying "Boot disk creator could not add the driver 'e1d62x64' ". The Ghost SS version is 3.3 (Build 2508)

This page contains the list of device drivers for HP EliteDesk 800 G1 SFF PC. To download the proper driver, first choose your operating system, then find your device name and click the download button.

If you could not find the exact driver for your hardware device or you aren't sure which driver is right one, we have a program that will detect your hardware specifications and identify the correct driver for your needs. Please click here to download.

Many hardware names are usually named after the chip model, and each chip model has its own dedicated driver, so as long as you know the chip model used by the hardware, you can find the right driver. For example, if your graphics card is named: "AMD Radeon RX 580", while actually the core chip model used is: "Radeon RX 580", then enter "Radeon RX 580" or "RX 580" to find the driver.

If you have a laptop or an all-in-one PC, you can also use the product name to search, and then go to the download page which has all the drivers for this machine (including: graphics card, network card, sound card, etc.). For example, if your laptop product name is: "Dell A6-9220e Inspiron Flagship", then type "Dell A6-9220e" to find all the drivers for this laptop.

When the workstation starts, the (only) first onex authentication stops at a given handshake point (the client waits up to 30 seconds for a response or starts a new authentication).

Authentication is EAP-MSCHAP v2 (computer authentication).

The network adapter is Intel I219-LM.

Latest drivers available Clean installs tested from both OEM (HP EliteDesk 800 G4 WKS TWR) and Intel.

Sorry for the delay, but in the meantime the data collected took the troubleshooting in a different direction.

(The first EAP handshake error also occurs with other network cards. Also, if the network is connected with a delay of a few seconds, the error is not experienced.)

Downloaded file: Release_28.2.1.zip (~814MB); access applied driver: Release_28.2.1.zip\PRO1000\Winx64\W11\.

Hello!

Could a device driver be the cause?:

If lldp protocol traffic is wedged between the eap handshake is this why eap-host/OneX does not work properly?

(On the MS side, there is very little documentation on what Windows uses.

All the traffic is that the workstation communicates its own MAC address addressed to itself or with multicast.

The OneX problem does not occur if the mslldp service is disabled or the protocol is removed from the adapter. We are investigating possible side effects...)

Thanks!

I had this error on a lot of our machines, most of them was HP Elitedesk 800 G4.

I've tried the MS script that re-register the COM object's but it didn't help.

After lot's of troubleshooting I found the root cause on our machines.

HP have a driver that install a HP Analytics service on the machine that prevent access to "Component Services - > COM+ Applications"

I added two lines in the top of the MS Script and deployed it to all the affected machines and the error diapered. 006ab0faaa
