I also bought the mac version but the display on my mac is to small to fit the view I like so I have installed on my touch screen HP Pc that I had to upgrade to windows 10 (was free). Now I have a huge touch screen but yes sucks I had to buy another copy. Also liked djpro so much looking at upgrading my Dj controller to an actual one built for DJ Pro and guess what they come with the software so had to buy it again. How many times do you need to buy the same software?

One of the biggest fears of using a windows computer is the possibility of the blue screen of death. Like you say, there are ways of cleaning this up by only using a windows laptop that is dedicated only for DJ. You could never realistically connect that laptop to the Internet because of the amount of viruses that you could just get. I really wish that djay could work on Linux.

I have updated Engine dj to version 3.0 and it continues to fail in windows 10. Since the previous update the program has not opened, it remains active on the taskbar but it does not open completely. Hi, my primary windows 11 laptop is running djay Pro legacy, however nowhere in the settings or anywhere on the user screen is an option to actually sign in or out of my account, how can this be or am I missing something? This version has not updated to the new release and I am not getting the free upgrade offer. On my second windows 11 laptop i can log in and out of Djay pro and it is running the new update of djay pro but only the free version, and I am still being asked to take out a 7 day trial and then pay $50 dollars for the pro features. First of all i really apreciate your support here in this community. I am writing from Madrid, Spain and I am facing a problem that i believe has already been commented here. Is related to djay pro (free trial) on windows 10. I am now trying to test it in two different pcs (both windows 10 desktop versions later than 1607) but it only works in one of them. In the one that is not working, when i start the app it seems to try to start and then it closes itself in a few seconds.

Do you know what could be happening? something related to the sound card or a .dll maybe?

I liked your light scratch MIDI file so i changed that one to my personal taste. For example : you used beat loops for the sample pads and djay pro has 6 samples on each deck so i added my own samples there en changed the pads to these 12 samples. Do you still use djay ? And the controller?

djay is a digital music mixing software program for Mac OS X, Microsoft Windows,[1] iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch created by the German company algoriddim. It allows playback and mixing of digital audio files with a user interface that tries to simulate the concept of "two turntables and a microphone" on a computer. Before the commercial release in November 2007, djay had initially been released as freeware in June 2006.[2] In December 2010 the software was also released for the iPad,[3] and subsequently for iPhone and iPod Touch in March 2011.[4]

djay's iTunes integration allows the user to mix songs directly from the iTunes library. It provides the option of browsing the library, for example by Playlist, Artist, Album, Genre, Key or History. Dragging songs onto the turntables in djay, transforms them into virtual records complete with album art.

Automix mode enables djay to automatically mix songs from the iTunes library, and play them instantaneously with DJ-style transitions. Using the Automix Queue the user can step in any time and immediately queue up tracks.

djay's instantaneous beat and tempo detection allows the user to match the BPM of two songs for a transition. On pressing the SYNC button the software automatically syncs the BPM of the two songs so that both are smoothly aligned.

djay has a range of different looping styles: Auto, Manual and Bounce. The use can manually set loop in and out points, use Auto-Loop to continuously loop part of a song, or remix live using Bounce-Loop to mash up the song, all in perfect sync with the beat.

The program can work with iCloud (and iTunes Match), meaning the user can sync it with the iTunes library in the cloud. In other words, tunes are synced between every iOS device connected on the cloud.
