You can see I beat it on professional with a B rank in almost 13 hours, and that I didn't have any of the bonus weapons unlocked. I only used the fighting knife, the red9, the stingray, the riot gun, and grenades. No outfits that give any bonuses either. Is this challenge bugged?

You can say the same about the standalone controllers also. The software is what is running the controller on mixstream, sc live 2&4, etc. This is why they are able to send updates and make changes by bringing new features. Standalone is basically a computer and controller but built inside. If that screen goes out, the controller is a brick just like every other midi controller. Adding EQ kill is just a software fix. Of course beat jump will probably be an onboard thing unless they can map it to a pad mode with shift like they did with the sampler

Share projects and tracks with AirDrop, Mail Drop, or a comprehensive set of features for exporting stems. Logic Pro also supports file transfer protocols like Final Cut Pro XML and AAF to move content between various professional music and video applications.

So what tools do you need to start making beats? This one is obvious, but a computer is the most important piece of equipment for creating beats. Most people already have a decent PC or Mac computer and as long as it runs, it should be enough to get you started.

AKAI MPC Beats: Released this year by the company AKAI, MPC Beats is a beat-making digital audio workstation that is completely free, and easy to use. AKAI has long been one of the leading creators of MIDI keyboards and sampling hardware, but this year they decided to expand into the world of DAWs by offering a workstation aimed specifically at beat makers and hip hop producers. Downloading the workstation could not be easier, and there are plenty of resources available online teaching you how to use the software. If you want to make a beat, AKAI MPC Beats put itself at the top of the beat making software game. In a market where there was previously some steep competition, MPC Beats shines as a free option for beat making software, and I know we can all afford free. AKAI MPC Beats was designed to seamlessly integrate with any of the MIDI controllers in their line of products, so if you are looking for beat making software to help you produce your own tracks and sell beats online, you should already be downloading this.

There are two types of equipment used to create beats and compose music: digital and analog. While both categories are constantly being innovated upon, the basics have stayed relatively constant. Analog equipment refers to the use of older mechanical and electrical parts, such as potentiometers, stylii, and tape. The benefit to this is its warmth; the sounds are less digitized and more fluid. The disadvantage is that because it uses mechanical parts, it can be more prone to breaking down. Digital equipment, on the other hand, uses integrated circuits and memory chips. While this makes it less "warm" sounding, it also makes it more reliable. Of course, the quality and brand of the equipment can make a difference in the sound as well. When producing music, the producer uses both of these to mix and create the song. You can find a wide selection of both types of equipment at a store like  While most of the producers mentioned above have their own professional recording studio to work out of, there are still ways to get a professional sound without all the cost.

One of the biggest mistakes I made when I got started as a music producer was setting the wrong price for my beats. I know that this is a common issue we as producers struggle with. Each instrumental track that you create is a work of art, so you must be careful not to just give it away.

A typical non-exclusive instrumental beat might go for $25-100, while an exclusive beat may go for $300 or more. Now, these are just examples. Your prices will also depend upon your level of experience. My example is for an average non-famous and non-established beat maker/music producer.

To make beats for exclusive sale, you have to be sure that you are willing to let only one person/company use the beat. Most major label artists will never buy a beat that is not exclusive. Generally you might want to start your best beats out as exclusive licenses.

Everyone would love to make a beat and sell it for a lot of money, but the reality is there are a lot of beat makers with the same idea. Eventually all professional beat makers will be selling exclusive licenses only.

i just purchased the Garmin 245 music, with update 4.10. I was trying to pair my power beats pro, unfortunately it is it pairing. Why would this be the case if the apple air pods work and the pro do not? Can Garmin please allow prob beats to connect? These are a very popular ear bud, and expensive alongside purchasing a pricy watch with great features. Thank you win advance!

I have successfully paired my Powerbeats Pro with the 245M using 4.1.0 FW.

For the Powerbeats, you should pair them as you would an Android Phone. That is, leave the earbuds in the case and press the Powerbeats case connect button until the LED flashes white. Then you can connect the earbuds to your 245M.

After you have successfully paired them, you may unfortunately find that your Powerbeats volume controls do not work with the watch. This was working in some earlier FW versions (eg. 4.0.0), but does not work for me in 4.1.0.

These did fit me better and more comfortably than the earlier Powerbeats3 Wireless, which -- unlike the Pro -- have a wire connecting the left and right earbud. And, in fact, the Powerbeats Pro have been engineered to be compatible with a higher percentage of ears than past Powerbeats. That's because Beats, which is owned by Apple, refined their exterior design. According to Beats, the Powerbeats Pro are 23% smaller than the Powerbeats3 and 17% lighter. They're not rated as being fully waterproof, but they are sweat- and water-resistant. With an IPX4 certification, they can be splashed from any direction but could fail if sprayed with a sustained jet of water or are fully submerged.

Beats says these guys use new upgraded piston drivers that are supposed to cut down on distortion. They sound significantly better than the original AirPods, which isn't that high a bar to clear, but the Powerbeats Pro deliver richer, cleaner sound with bass that's not only much bigger but tighter. As I said, a full seal is crucial to maximizing sound quality with these types of noise-isolating headphones, so if the tips aren't sitting snugly in your ear canals you can lose some bass.

In contrast, the AirPods have an "open" design and sit more loosely in your ears (though the newer AirPods Pro feature a noise-isolating design). They let in a lot more ambient noise as a result. Assuming you get that good seal, the Powerbeats Pro would be much better for, say, listening on an airplane than the AirPods, for instance.

The knock against Beats headphones used to be that they were too bass-heavy and that the bass was boomy and lacked definition. The Powerbeats Pro also accentuate the bass, but I didn't have a problem their bass performance. In fact, the bass is one of these reasons you'd buy this over something like the AirPods or Jabra's Elite 65t (or the Elite Active 65t). But I did notice some treble push -- sometimes referred to as presence boost -- that can make them sound a tad too bright with certain tracks. The BeatsX had the same issue, and while it may not be something regular people will be too perturbed about, audiophiles will probably take issue.

The Powerbeats Pro's sound is going to compare favorably with most other premium true wireless models, which can sound quite decent but ultimately don't measure up to a good set of wired earphones. That said, I thought the Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless, which retails for $300, sounded better. It's just a little more detailed and smoother sounding. Likewise, the UA True Wireless Flash by JBL sound as good as the Powerbeats Pro for about $40 less. However, the Powerbeats have some advantages over both, including much better battery life.

Thanks to their larger design compared to the AirPods, Apple and Beats engineers have been able to incorporate a larger battery. The Powerbeats Pro are rated at 9 hours for music listening compared to 5 hours for the AirPods, and the charging case delivers 15 extra hours of juice. With the quick-charge feature, a 5-minute charge gets you an hour and a half of playback while a 15-minute charge will get you four and a half hours. The headphones automatically turn off when you drop them in the case and will go to sleep if you leave them sitting on a table.

The AirPods are great for making calls, and Apple's engineers have brought some of the same technology to the Powerbeats Pro. There are two beam-forming microphones in each earpiece, along with a speech-detecting accelerometer that helps pick up your voice better -- whether it's for phone calls or talking to Siri. And like the second-generation AirPods, these are supposed to do a better job filtering out external sounds such as wind and ambient noise during calls. e24fc04721
